Aqua, I understand perfectly what you mean.
My point was that I’ve been in SO for 15 years and I know what you can become and how far you can be led.
I’m not defending her or excusing her for what she does. In the video Taryn gave me more of the idea of someone being heavily manipulated, rather than someone prepared for that kind of ‘PR’ activity, whose confusions come to the surface at times like these, where she has to confront others about truths that are not part of the manipulation received daily.
Perhaps for all this she made me feel sorry for her condition and I wrote that comment.

Yes, I understand. But to me – I’m not a legal person so bear with me – to me, that she accuses him of having raped her without allowing the evidence to come out in criminal court – to me, that she merely directed her attorney to get money from him in reward for her silence – to me, its suspicious, that’s all. Its legal extortion, isn’t it? If she had a legitimate case wouldn’t she at least give the APPEARANCE of being on the level by letting him have his day in criminal court? Or am I simply incredibly naive and/or ignorant?

Always best to avoid contact with lawyers. Miscavige’s pockets are deeper. The only way to be safe from this cult is not to have any money to begin with.

Oh, Taryn is being USED alright. There is no doubt about that. She’s in the Sea Org, she follows orders, without question. That’s a given.

But how do we know that she’s not perfectly OK with being used in this detestable manner?

How do we know that she is not disagreeing, not to some degree inwardly protesting whilst outwardly complying?

That’s what I’d be hungering to know if I were her parent.
