In reply to PeaceMaker. This happened to me and my fiancé. I wasn’t a Scientologist, did some courses, but it wasn’t for me, I had an open mind, accepting them, and what my fiancé was into. But somehow they got to him, so he broke up with me, left me and moved out within 2 days. Devastating and such a heartbreak.

Scientology kids uniformly have a misunderstood on “father”, as they’ve never seen one in action — except maybe an absent one, required by the scientology lifestyle.

I wasn’t in the Scientology cult but was a child victim of a one woman run cult. Because my dad didn’t agree with what was happening to my family he was ostracized. He was ganged up on and told he was the devil. This cult woman basically hijacked my mom’s kids as her own. She slimed her way into our family. When my dad was dying of cancer his last wish was to see his sons. By then my mom, sisters and I left the cult. My brothers refused to see my dad. They slammed their front doors in our faces. These cults their main goal is to entrap people and hijack the families. Its horrible the damage that is done.

Made it out of Scientology with my family intact. Scientology failed to separate us, even though many of us are declared Suppressive Persons. Everyone in my family refused to disconnect. F* you, Scientology. We are prospering and have continued growing our family with lots of grandchildren who will never be Scientologists. Success is the best revenge!!!

All these events they have are so creepy. It’s like a stranger offering your kid candy …trying to lure kids in . Kidnap them .
If I ever caught a Scientologist talking to an unsuspecting kid trying to lure one into their disgusting group I’d have to punch em in the face.

Mary, as Mark said, your statement is so insightful. I read it earlier today and have been thinking about it all day.
When I read Terra’s article yesterday, it brought tears to my eyes as, I too, have those conversations in my mind, that are from the heart. And then later I read FOOLproof’s response. What an idiot.
The fact that FOOLProof can so misinterpret the whole point of Terra’s article only reconfirms to me how glad I am to be divorced of the cult and the BS it lives by.
I think of you often and your family. And I appreciate all of your comments.
