I’m spoiled by going ‘right-click’ and choosing “look up with Google” or whatever I’ve set my search engine to be. A search for scientology + [term] generally throws up a good definition on the first page.

Stephani, if ONE person reads it and turns away from that toxic criminal organization, you’ve done real *good work* in improving the world. I just hope they then contact you so you know. Otherwise, you’ll always wonder needlessly. when you DO get readers’ thanks, luxuriate in the good feelings for a bit; you deserve it for the work you’ve done. I can imagine even a “short” book is a considerable undertaking, not that I’d have any trouble filling that many pages with the amount of drivel I put out in any month; the trouble is organizing it so it’s readable, which it seems you’ve accomplished. I’ll have to upgrade my OS to get it to review it more thoroughly in first person.

One of the frustrating aspects of scn — or any cult — is not getting sufficient/any acknowledgment for the jobs done well. I was quite taken aback when I first got accolades for some things I wrote in a local newsletter years ago. I was just recently (a couple of years previous) kicked off the Land base, so hadn’t quite been reborn as a ‘wog’, with access to the full range of human emotions, so it took me by surprise. One nice thing about playing around on the blogs like this is that sometimes, we get relatively instant feedback when we say something well.

I doubt that it would be a lot of work. Seems to me that most everything they say translates into, “Never mind the torpedoes. Just send money, money and more money. Your money will make a huge difference in our hands. The more money you send to us, the more fancy shit we can consume and that will surely … oh, fill in the rest yourself. After all, you know how it goes …

Money! Money! Money! Money! Money!
