Good point. Unfortunately many things are rationalized by cult members. There is actually a term for it called “thought stopping”. The truth is there are only a few countries in the world where Scientology has the legal status of being a “religion”. Hopefully that number will be brought down to zero one day.

I feel for you Connie. My father worked hard, paid all the bills, we always had a decent place to live, all utilities, food, clothing as needed. However, he was a perfectionist & continually belittled us, made fun of us, picked on us & “put us down” every chance he got. He had a short fuse & if he was in a “bad mood” watch out. He was a foul mouthed nasty man most times & rarely spent time with us as kids, even as adults he really wanted nothing to do with us OR our children & didn’t visit us or the grandkids he was LUCKY enough to have.

His yelling, screaming, cursing at us & sometimes intimidating threatening behavior reverberates to this day. There we few to NONE “great job, I’m proud of you” etc. Nothing we did pleased him. Add to it my older brother at 17 had a full mental breakdown & was diagnosed as a Schizophrenic. My younger brother was “never diagnosed with mental health issues” but let me tell you, he SURE had them.

My mother ran between trying to keep the peace in the family by NOT upsetting him as we learned as well AND running after my brothers continually “FIXING” things for them that they themselves screwed up, i.e. refusal to take prescribed psych drugs to control his schizophrenia & the other brother just continued problems he got himself into..
Literally they were a nightmare. My one brother committed suicide at 43 over 20 years ago, the older one is “out there floating around somewhere”….

People often tell me how kind, loving,& caring person I am…..that’s what came out of all that for ME. When you don’t GET IT…..you GIVE IT TO OTHERS. There are ALL kinds of terrorism……….we’ve had our share Connie.

I don’t know what Ed Parkin did to be on the bad list. But he was very very old even 10 years ago when he spied on me and reported back about me, so he very well could be dead now. His former roommate said he frequently had really bad migraine headaches a lot during the time he lived with Ed.

Do they know what religion means?

If we look at main stream religion ( Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism) we see teachings are for all humanity free and no strings attached.

I can read any book of mainstream religion from the internet ,print it and reproduce it ,with out any copy right restrictions.

It is free and let you be religious person ,as per your convenience, on sliding scale.

There is no entry and exit barriers ,how deep you are in religion it’s your personal choice.

That’s why main stream religions enjoys tax exempt status across the globe.

The person in question can be seen panhandling at any nearby convenience store, claiming to be a disabled veteran with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, in need of money to buy diapers for her quintuplets, who are home being baby sat by her seven-year-old.

In between panhandling and stealing valor she can be seen bent over searching for a “good ‘un”, her favorite exclamation when she finds a cig butt with a puff or two left in it.

Terrorism. That is what people of color who live “over there” somewhere do, right? Wrong, wrong, wrong. The FBI lists the most dangerous groups, and white supremacy, far right, anti-semitic groups right here in the US top the list year after year.

Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are falling all over themselves to cut deals with Federal April 6 prosecutors while there are still deals to be had.

If only the FBI would read their own documents, such as those that revealed the lies and perjury to be expected from Scientologists when dealing with law enforcement.
