Dr. Mac – Thanks for being so open. Even after I left scn and had dismissed it as having been in a cult I still carried forward some feelings of superiority, the attitude or idea that I “knew things” others couldn’t know. Yikes – hopefully that’s now all “as-ised” – lol

I studied dance & gymnastics in my youth….Ballet & Modern dance my forte. While in high school I did a vault over a “horse”….the girls who were supposed to catch me when I completed the vault, missed & I landed badly on my left foot. It blew up like an over inflated foot ball as I had injured tendons, ligaments & bruised small bones etc. It took a month or more til I could put weight on it.

Then I went back to Ballet class….you guessed it….I reinjured the same ankle again during a Pas de Deux ….dance with a male partner where he lost his grip on me, I slipped & reinjured the same ankle. …that was that. I could no longer in…. simple speak …”toe dance”. I will leave it at that, too painful to recall both injuries.

I saw in person the Russian Ballet…took my breath away. To know it is to love it….the Nutcracker another breath taking dance!. I miss it but can’t dwell on it, so be it. The beauty of the dance itself…..careers don’t last long. We are NOT made to dance on our toes. I have had several friends who have LIFE LONG injuries….severe arthritis, deformed & bent toes/ankle twists… to this day if I “come off a curb or stoop incorrectly or too fast”…I get pain that shoots up my entire leg.

So much for that. I agree….SCREW THE SCAM…you are lucky to be OUT.

Yes, never lost my love of Aussie Rules. I can watch 4 games a week here! I have 3 teams — the Crows, Swans and Magpies (one from each city I lived in). I’m a bird man I guess, though I very much do not like the Hawks and not a fan of the Eagles. Not a good year for me last year…

No probs cobber – I think they also put in secure fencing that blocked out the entrance to a large park and they later came to a agreement to hand the local residence swipe passes to access the park. I think this came about after a incident at their Sydney base.

Whats your AFL side Mike ? for me its the mighty Port Melbourne (VFL) – good effort that you are still a AFL fan considering that you left Aus at a young age and that you wouldn’t of had access to AFL matches most of your life.

Before I forget, I want to tell you that I have always been intrigued by your name and one day, I’m determined to ask you how you came to choose that name.

I once knew a lady who loved ballet and there was a ballet company in the small town in which we lived that put on various performances. I loved to go see those ballets. It seems to me that it is not at all easy to find performances – even in large cities. One day, they chose to take several scenes from a few different ballets and performed those scenes. They explained they were doing that because they loved those portions of the various ballets. I had never seen anything like that before and it was the most enjoyable performance I ever saw.

However, I hope to ask you about that one day when COVID is a thing of the past and we all might be feeling more comfortable taking time out for pure enjoyment without this black cloud hovering above our heads.

It feels much like the evil black cloud of this scam hovering above the lives of its slaves.

As far as this phony church goes asking people to produce tax returns. I would hope that most people would take a copy of their tax return and tear it up and throw it in their face. After all, participating in a “tax free organization” implies to me that org is above and beyond trying to squeeze money out of their members for any reason whatsoever. These people really should be ashamed of themselves to be asking people to provide them with tax returns.
