Hi Justme, Just a thought here: maybe this advertisement is just to get the wealthy public jealous and want the same reward and recognition that Dina’s gotten for donating so much, even though her mansion needs a roof? (That’s just so unbelievable! A $2 mil roof? Oh, the poor woman! She’s sacrificing her high society status for the sci-fi’ or she’s giving up her lottery winnings.) I think the whole thing is a scam and she’s an actress. But I can be wrong, and if I am, she’s got to be the dumbest rich person I’ve ever heard of.

While victims of the mid-fuck perpetrated by the criminal organisation known as the “church” of $ciuentology are indeed at time victims and at time perpetrators, it’s important to realise that it’s the organisation which makes them do it and it’s the organisation which benefits.

I remember the IAS registrars like Michael Roberts and Howard Becker used to refer to the phenomena of giving more money than your comfortable with as “Fourth Dynamic Case” gain. They also used to refer to the IAS statuses as the “IAS Grade Chart”. I know, sick and gross, but that’s how they got a lot of people to donate crazy amounts of money. It “works” for as long as the victim somehow manages to “make it go right”. When they don’t manage to make it go right, well they have bankruptcies, fraud/crime, divorces, illness, blows, murder, suicide, etc. But we don’t hear much about those from the IAS, we just hear about the “Wins and Cogs”.

Most of the “top leadership” of $cientology, except for David Miscavige, lead horrible lives. Over-worked, under-fed, under-slept, under-paid, etc. Just look at what happened to Mike Rinder and he was the head of OSA. Registrars from the IAS like Howard Becker used to make large donations to the IAS just to be able to say “Look at me, I did it too!” If anyone in $cientology is living the “good life”, it’s because Miscavige has a vested interest in it.

A couple of problems with “elder abuse” angle. The minimum age for elder abuse starts at 65, and she may not be old enough to qualify. Also, you would have to make a case that she’s being exploited because of her age, i.e. her senility affected her judgement, which is hard to do when there are 25 year old $cientologists who are just as delusional (and give all their hard earned money to the church).
