Juan Trutha, as with other cults, the mind control runs deep. In this so-called church, you are made to feel that you deserve everything bad that’s done to you or that happens to you. It’s your fault, you caused it and you deserve to be punished. And Juan, when I say everything, I mean literally everything bad, even those things that happen to your friends and family members.

So with people who are willing to say something, we can basically say now that we are up to .07% of the OTVIII who will never do another scientology service. That’s the ones who will speak up. The recommendation is getting less and less glowing. Sounds like OTVIII causes someone to really realize how much they DON’T want to be a scientologist. Great EP. Lets get more people on it.

thegman, I can’t imagine that Scientology has deliberately re-used or in any way fudged with clear numbers, in part because of their belief that clears are going to reincarnate and return to orgs in the future. There are some reports that there have been small errors in the system, which seems typically of a sloppiness that they are prone to due to cumbersome administrative system and overworked staff.

I think that clear numbers, which currently stand around 65,000, are one measure that is too sacrosanct for them to tinker with, and so it reveals the sort of ugly truth about their poor results that they would try to misrepresent or fake if it were any sort of statistic.
