Oh I’m sure they did. The picture my friend paints of their day at the dublin org is just so dam weird.

Gold plated toilets, elderly staff members constantly cleaning, extreme security…….the need to bring in money must be constant when they are renting their halls to just about anywog.

Here’s a video taken outside the Mountain View CA Ideal Morgue (which was completely empty of parishioners) showing a staff member trying to get the police to trespass a couple of photographers from the public sidewalk. I agree! “Where there is life there is hope.” So true. But then, the question remains: when does hope stop being hope, and become delusion? Perhaps, these people who cling, year after year, decade after decade, to their “hopes” (which are obviously delusions) do so because to let go of their hopes (delusions) would be a kind of death for them…? I’m just thinking out loud here.
