If the tech works “Ron says” it is because truth was found and applied. But we are not talking about those elements in Scientology, truths of life which no man is author of, that help people. We are talking about the darker side of Ron’s world view.

That view which considered itself above the laws of decency (“we are not moralists) to accomplish Ron’s stated purpose, in writing, of planetary take over-demonization of opposition-and personal destruction of anyone disagreeing with Ron.

It is that fatal denial, of holding and honoring higher standards of decency that is now “the source” of this mess. It is the teaching of elitist authoritarianism and tyranical dealings with dissent that society at large so easily can see.

But if a person has been trained to denounce dissent and criticism then the enemy will always be dissenters and those who have the right and courage to step up and speak for the common good.

If you think that Christ wanted to kill people by swords and that was his teaching than the discussion is hopless Margaret.

Ron actually orchestrated violence and create a paramilitary organization to perpetrate vilolence. That was his intention.

The GO was not a misinterpretation of Ron. People killing in the name of Christ was.

The point is that Jesus’ own words and actions were (and still can be) used to justify the atrocities. So is Jesus to blame? Was Jesus the Satan on Earth that you seem to think LRH was? One man’s mean streak (Jesus’) gets a pass, but Hubbard’s gets a condemnation? You might want to self-inspect the very obvious double standard that keeps popping up in your comments.

The idea of god worship (anything but a human) was a good idea (even if not logically sound and has room for argument beyond the scope of this comment) because worship of a man or a fixed idea (or identity) can result in a deindividuation of people. Once dehumanized Our Glorious Leader can get people to exploit and abuse each other.

This was why Christianity survived thousands of bloody years. Yes it set itself up as royalty, and sometimes tyranny, but it set God above the Kings of the world (OTs, those of great influence, make your own phrase). The church provided a moral compass because those with power, wealth and influence have no morality, only ethics. The money-power addict often ignored it; hence, welcome to Earth.

Hubbard said the subject was workable and it was; it was never perfect. The problem with him was that he was elevated to unquestioned human god by his sycophants. It then affected the enfant terrible. And after seeing these affidavits has possibly regressed into the terrible threes.
