Bam, another great story about how the orbit of scientology is bad, bad, bad.

It’s amazing, Lili, just how underhanded and criminal a scientology staff member can get. In the late 1980s to earlier 1990s, it happened at Sterling Management Systems, one of the cult’s “front groups,” in Glendale, California.

There used to be a salesperson there by the name of Roseanna Avenessian. She hung around with Erin, Kevin Wilson’s niece (Kevin owns the place). They were quite a pair, so to speak (and pardon the pun): Roseanna and Erin often wore a bustier. They’d get all dressed up and run around the place, working, giggling… and jiggling.

One day, Roseanna left unexpectedly. She might have been asked to leave because it turns out she used money from at least one client’s account without permission. (Her sales stats had kept going up and up and up, and it turned out clients were buying books from her, but didn’t know about the transactions).

Your scientology “friend” is an ASS, not an FSM, who used his selectee as an ATM.

I lent money to my greedy, user of an FSM. I was a nice girl and he preyed on that. He used my new credit card, one of many to buy $6,000.00 in services that he convinced me he should pay off with his training credits. I think you know what happened to those training credits. Vanished.
His handling was to get them put back on my account. A couple years later they were gone again. He talked me into getting the basics instead. By that time I was exhausted, madly in debt, and beyond caring that he financially raped me. What was I to do?
It was made plain to me that it had been ‘my’ decision and only I would look bad if I wrote him up. So I didn’t complain or tell anyone. It still pisses me off.
I’m so pleased however that you dodged the OT Levels. Good move Fred.

Thanks for sharing that. I never made it anywhere close to clear much less OT, but can’t imagine what a let down that must have been.

To add to Karen’s post, I was doing the dating drill in the course room with a twin. That is the drill where your twin writes down a whole track date an you have to use the meter to fin it and use orders of magnitude to home in on it. I was Clear at that point and had not done any OT Levels. I wrote down 75 Million years ago and we were using that date. The Sup came over and asked to see that date I put and he as 75 Million and he told me not to use that date. I argued and said, but we get good reads on that one. He told me in no uncertain terms to NOT use that date. Of course he couldn’t say why not cuz they have to be so secretive about OT III and stuff. I think they use the secrecy for two reasons: one people will pay for and do OT III just to find out the secret, and it is so out there sci fi sounding that if people knew about it they wouldn’t do it and word would get out that that religion is coo coo. well Southpark took care of that part later on.
