Aqua, there are many factors to why someone isn’t getting good sleep. The suggestions already mentioned here such as get the machine and the pressure checked out are good. And exercise earlier in the day helps you sleep at night. No food for 2 to 3 hours before sleep, no electronics, computer screens TV screens for 1 hr before sleep. For a big complete rundown on this subject check out Dr. Mercola’s web site. I think he even sells stuff you spray under the tongue or drink at bedtime to help you sleep, and it is not a drug and is natural.

Yawn, I’m afraid you’re 100% right. think you’ve hit all the nails on the head. Somehow I have to overcome my own reticence with people and with men in particular, to reach out in some way that he will accept. Its not my way to intrude, to push in where I’m not wanted. Its not my way to push in at all. I’m kind of proud too, actually. And, like him, I hate talking about my health to anyone. I hate being sick. But then, I don’t GET sick. At worst, they’ve not dumb at all; they’ve observed, they know and understand the lies being told and the fraud being perpetrated. In full awareness, have still decided to stay, to aid and abet the criminality. to support all that they know to be lies and fraud. Which makes them criminals.

The former – well, its hard to believe anybody is really THAT stupid but I guess they’re out there. But if they’re out there then they belong in a home or something.

The latter – They know what they’re doing. They’re aware. And they’ve created their own mental hell. Sorry for them? No. I’m not. Sure, in the cases of many of them, their parents put them there. With the best of intentions, their parents put them there, some of them. So? At what point in life does one begin to take responsibility for one’s own decisions – 20? 30? 40? Nobody’s forcing them to stay there. This category is fully aware that the CO$ is spouting lies and bullshit. Yet they stay? Sorry for them? No way!

Let these criminals have their “ah hah” moment about being criminals first. If something, somehow penetrates and they have this realization, and blow the cult, sure, I’d help them and be glad to do so.

And as for the really dumb and blind ones,the ones who REALLY don’t know what’s going on, well,once the cult folds, if they don’t have families to take them in, there are places which care for people this dumb.

WL, its the same in my own very small former org, and possibly this is true for most of the Class V orgs.

In my old org there is a handful of long term old timer staff, maybe 4 or 5. The ED answers the phone weekdays because they don’t even have a Mon-Fri receptionist.

Why do they stay?

In the age of Trump I’ve learned to not overthink things.

Simplest answer: They don’t know what else to do.

For decades, this org has been their whole lives, and they don’t know what else they’d do with themselves if they didn’t come in. They get paid nothing. Its just what they’ve been doing for 2-3-4 decades and they can’t imagine doing anything else.

They’ll go down with the ship,

If he’s a “proud” single guy that lives alone and doesn’t talk much about his health situation, plus doesn’t cook, he has almost certainly a diet from hell. My guess is that if he doesn’t sleep much, loneliness would be a major issue as well, even if he can’t see it. Sitting by yourself at night unable to sleep when you want to is the absolute pits. There’s no one to confide in! Yep, men’s (gender has little to do with it really) toughness erodes somewhat quickly when the body begins to crave sleep but can’t get it. Robotism takes hold, it can lead to a dark place, it can be very hard hard to come to terms with. Good luck with him, his world is not all as he tells you it is.
