I can understand the impetus. I'd suggest, though, that for anyone who wants to sell materials, it's most likely that doing so will serve to deprive Scientology's bookstores of sales, as the only thing I can figure is that much of what sells must be being bought up by members (such as those recently divorced) trying to build up their libraries without the big markups. I doubt that at this point, people not already in Scientology are buying materials online to study, or are likely to get drawn into Scientology because of it; even in the case of an outside buyer, again, I think it's more likely that if anything, it might keep someone away from the bookstore and the org, and perhaps allow them to figure out on their own that it's inordinate nonsense.

We had been exploring the extrasensory, the paranormal and the supernatural in Scientology and I don't think that made us oddballs. Half of the human population engages in mystical religion.

The entity the OTs were questioning went by the name of Dr. Peebles. Don't ask me where channeling comes from, but I thought he was a pretty cool dude/entity and had some interesting things to say. I think he was tying to settle things down with the OTs and let them know that leaving scientology wasn't the end of the road. They obviously had a lot invested in scientology to have gotten that far. We also listened to some tapes by "Ramtha", an entity promoted at that time by the actress Linda Evans and there was also a female entity we listened to but I forget her name.

The group eventually disbanded. It turned out that none of us had far fetched Utopian dreams, but mostly wanted to improve our abilities to attain greater success in life.

Righto.

The NOI = no money, plenty of vulnerable people.
CO$ = no people, infinitely rich.

A match made in heaven.

What could go wrong?
