As you say it would be a huge amount of work on top of what Mike is already doing so we can’t find any fault with him not having a forum also on this site.
I applaud both Mike and Leah for what they are doing. Since hearing about $camotology years ago and lack of information they would allow the public to know I was always suspicious of them. I’ve never been IN, guess I’m just what you call a watcher but I get really angry and outraged at how this supposed “religion” can get away with so much.
Any other “religion” will willingly show you their bibles etc to show you why their beliefs are superior for lack of a better term, and without costing you an arm and a leg.
With regards to using Twitter or some other social media to share our suggestions unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to be in that as I haven’t been on social media for years after having a really bad experience. This is the only “public” place I actually post and I even hesitated doing that initially.
We can just be happy to share our thoughts here with each other as long as Mike doesn’t object 😊

I would guess that Mike has very little choice what kind of options may be added to this board software.

I’m not at all certain, but I expect Mike is not an expert in software design – especially this particular piece of software that runs this board.

I’d wager that it’s a huge amount of work to manage and oversee any web blog software and so we can’t really find fault with Mike over any perceived shortcomings in this board software.

Adding a separate room to this software would be a very large job and Mike would likely have to pay a lot of money to get the people who created this board software to do anything like that.

I would expect that if and when a private individual wants to start a blog like this one, they have to spend a lot of time examining the various software packages available to them and then they have to find the money to pay them license fees in order to use their package.

But there must be a lot more to it than that and once Mike had settled into this choice, I imagine it would take a large amount of time and trouble to change it around.

It may be easier to just use an existing app (like Twitter) that is widely used and just define a place (or hashtag) where we could all post. The big disadvantage with that is that someone would then have to spend a lot of time each day reading every posts and censoring those with problems – especially banning people who will try to create problems for us. Once some malcontent begins to misbehave and get banned, they act as if they have found a new hobby and there’s just no stopping them. Someone has to spend many hours every day searching for their bullshit and deleting it and that is just a terrible way to spend your days.

Lol you had me giggling with “they keep banning me”.
The call I was referring to was on our landline which doesn’t have the options we have will our mobiles.
With my mobile if it’s an unknown number I just let it go to voicemail and if it’s a scam or similar I just block the number.
I’ve had Asian msgs being left on my voicemail lol sometimes wonder what they’re saying.
Wonder if Mike will try to put in what you suggested about a separate forum for us to leave tips for each other on? It’s a good idea 🙂
