Jere, LRH was always cancelling or revising his own policies (and "tech"), so I'd say DM is just following in his footsteps.

I know that Hubbard dictated that his was successor supposed to keep a cult past its prime going, without resorting to the tricks of constantantly going back on his own pronouncements, and introducing new "tech", that "source" himself had always used to keep it going even in its heyday. But what did you expect DM to do, really?

Aqua, on your above comment and analogy of the mad dog who was once a loving and trusting puppy, that is a good analogy that explains so much of people and dogs. I like your writing, your thinking and your writing. It is for the most part eloquent.

Cindy,

You don't sound bad. You sound like someone who knew Johnny Lewis before he turned into a monster.

Now, THAT sounds bad :) REALLY bad.

And yet I'm serious.

Obviously he started out normal, happy, healthy, smart, etc.

Obviously SOMEthing happened.

If not drugs, then a bash on the head, brain damage, whatever. Something triggered him sufficiently for him to totally lose his all of his humanity.

You knew him when he was normal. That IS your reality and its completely valid. His former normality has just as much validity as his subsequent monstrosity.

Have you ever seen an attack dog on the other side of a chain link fence? Snarling and salivating to get its teeth into your neck or to bite your foot off if you come one step closer?

Well, that ravening beast ready to tear you to pieces was assuredly once an adorable puppy in love and in trust with the entire world.

Maybe I knew that puppy back in the day, and now I'm now looking at it, not with fear and loathing, but with sadness at the vicious creature it is now.

I said I'm looking at it without fear but that's only because there's a chain link fence protecting me from this ravening creature.

I'm safe, so I can just be sad and remember that it was once was the most loving, lovable, tail-wagging little pup...until...whatever. Until things happened to it. People did things to it. And now its something that the world is better off without.

Ok, people aren't dogs but you get my point.

Aqua, Here is where I may sound bad, but i have to admit that I liked Johnny Lewis immensely. I knew him before all this bad stuff and saw him growing up. He was such an upstat. He did the pro metering course and Class IV auditor course at a very young age and was the youngest one in there on metering drills and was apparently really good at it. He was in commercials and movies and had appearances on famous sit comms and his future as an actor looked bright. He dated Katey Perry, who is a big deal in the acting world too. He was nice and funny and smart etc.

I am inclined to go along with his father's assessment that when he had that severe head injury from the motorcycle accident, that is when his behavior did a 180 degree change and he got in fights, all sorts of stuff, was sensitive to light and just wanted to more or less hide in the dark in depression. This came on suddenly after the head injury. But he was stubborn and refused any medical tests to find out. I feel so bad for him. Per his mom, he was disaffected from the church and probably was UTR for the last several years of his life. That's good news at least.

Typical They can't talk directly on the LRH references they violated because now it is not KSW and not what LRH wrote or said. It is all about what diminutive Davey says and HIS "Command Intention." How they go along with this is beyond me.

Hah! Well, it wasn't an eval strictly speaking. There were emails in which I laid out my reasons for being against the Ideal Org project. THEY kept wanting me to go in and TALK - I kept insisting that ALL such comm be in writing.

Long story short, what did they do, what was their response to quoting LRH about how the Ideal Org Program was doomed to fail?

To paraphrase Ms. Browning: "How am I wrong? Let me count the ways:
        * MUs
        * Overts
        * Witholds
        * All of the above

Not one of them would respond on point. They danced around the references or else flat out refused to answer me at all.
