But, to me, given that the same policies were in place and the same degree of naked greed, venality, and criminality were in action( Hubbard ), I’d argue that the main differences are matters of shifts in the technical execution of the scam( e.g. the hell with selling the useless bridge, just focus on straight donations ).

Yes, we all did strange things when we were younger men or women. When I was in my mid-teens I “worshipped” a (self-created) “God” which I called Zubenelgenubi after the star and because I liked the name somehow – perhaps I had spent many lifetimes in that sector – haha! Fortunately LRH then founded Dianetics and Scientology and I and he, could jettison all such silliness.
