I’ve also realised how the once feared $camology has become a gummy flea and mange ridden little dog because five, maybe ten, years ago they would have been screaming and unleashing law suits galore all over the place and going all out to throw dirt everywhere. What a pathetic pale reflection of the “glorious world beating and fastest rising religion ” past they have become as they ride (hobble?) off into the sunset of total insignificance. The trail behind the nag littered with more and more empty scotch bottles as the Lone Demento tries desperately, and failing, to keep $camology afloat.

I’d go with the first 3 of Mary’s possibilities: they vacillate between hope and blame and don’t know what else to do with themselves.

They’re parked in a mental operating state of “maybe”.

Every time they start to believe what their own eyes and common sense plainly tell them, Miscavige pulls them back with another false hope.

There’s always something new he’s touting that’s going to make “planetary clearing a reality”.

And they fall for it. Every time.

And in the meantime they’re getting older, and more set in their ways.

And, as the song says, “Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’, into the future.”

I wonder, down the road, what will follow SuMP as the NEXT solution to “planetary clearing in our lifetime”.

I don’t know what it will be, but I do know this: in a couple of years, SuMP will be off the cult radar with something else in its place heralded as the Solution to Planetary Asset and Bank Account Clearing In Our Lifetime.

And whoever is still dumb enough to be Still In will be believing every word of it. and paying thru the nose for it..

You know, its not like Miscavige’s scams are that clever. Its that his marks are just really stupid.
