Pat wasn’t any “personally trained” intelligence officer. He did “think” he was 007, but he was more like Austin Powers.

What makes you so sure he will “talk someday”? The longer it takes the less relevance he has and the worse his memory of events will be. He is given to long-winded, rambling story telling. And that has been the case since I first met him in 1973 when he was the Finance Banking Officer on the Apollo.

RVY couldn’t clarify anything for you. He was sitting at ASI writing Ron Mags when everything went down. He was not privy to most of the activities.

I don’t disagree that the “bad guy” won, but Big P is little different from Little D — just degrees. And DM always was smarter than Pat.

As for Mary Sue, read Marty’s accounts of this. What was done to her WAS vile. But that was mostly LRH’s doing. He is the one that threw her under the bus. Believe me, without his sanction nobody had the authority or nerve to take her on, not even Miscavige.

I don’t recall ever “banning” anyone though I have edited some comments and admonished people. Maybe I have but this doesn’t qualify.

He’s right about falling asleep. Two hours sleep a night average will of that to you.

He’s wrong about Broeker. Obviously that was known about before asking him (remember there were PIs on Broeker for 20 years).

RVY often assumed to know things and assert them in an authoritative manner that were not true but were not easy to spot as lies unless you knew the same facts.

He was not a clumsy liar. He could put together very plausible sounding assertions to support whatever he was seeking to prove. He developed some of the most effective lies about LRH because he knew what was an “acceptable truth.”

So, I am sure there was a break in the depo, I am sure I “woke up” when there were things of interest (no doubt him admitting this was of interest) and I am sure at some point there were notes passed to the attorney. The rest is his faulty conclusion but sounds credible and unless the PIs had subsequently come out nobody would know who to believe if I had now said this was not true. It would have been his assertion against mine.

the notion that miscavige is not that bright i think is a big misconception some people might have.
lack of education and intelligence are different things. from what i can tell, miscavige has a lot of natural intelligence.
that doesn’t mean he is mature or doesn’t let emotion get in the way of being rational. but he is far from a dummy. he would have made a good gangster or politician.
