The obvious answer of course is "empty buildings," but I found the background of this shot interesting. These days, buying statuses in the IAS and "Ideal Org Program" has become the new "thing" - status in scientology used to be measured by OT level gained and before that by auditor training level. There has always been a heavy emphasis on attaining perceived superiority since the first days of Dianetics. These days status in scientology is attained through money, not training and auditing. The goofiness of stuff that passes for status in scientology is sometimes hard to fathom -- the … [Read more...]
How Many Churches of Scientology in the World?
I originally did this post in 2019 and it cited the scientology newsroom website, so I went to check this site to ensure what was said was still accurate. Scientology is REALLY not keeping their webites current. This is the main page concerning the status of orgs -- and it talks about the fake expansion that occurred in the 10 years subsequent to 2004. In other words, this information is from 2014. Apparently there has been no growth since that time -- and the statement (this is exactly what it says:) Over 11,000 Scientology Churches, Mission and affiliated groups exist across 167 … [Read more...]
Another Ideal Org Fail
Another failed "ideal org" — this is one of the older ones. Bought in 2007, it is part of the “old guard” of ideal org buildings bought in a flurry of activity in the first years after Miscavige announced his boondoggle program. Battle Creek, New Haven, Philadelphia, Plymouth, Bulawayo, Harare and Capetown were all purchased and decades later sit unoccupied and falling to pieces. As I have pointed out many times before, if this “ideal org program” was really what Miscavige believed was the answer to expanding orgs and clearing the planet, he would just spend 50 million or whatever it would … [Read more...]
Disseminating Scientology is Simple Thanks to Captain Miscavige
It is amazing all the things Captain Miscavige has personally provided these powerful scientologists to enable them to "not only boom the org but truly achieve St Hill size." Obviously these otherwise awesome people are NOT using the brilliant tools Mr. Mickiewicz has toiled and labored so hard to bring them, as scientology orgs all over the world are shrinking rapidly. How long is it since Miscavige has announced a "St Hill Size org"? 20 years? The last one I recall was Joburg org -- that might have been 2004 or 2005... Yet, reaching St Hill Size is the target for all orgs -- not just … [Read more...]
More Chicago Hype
They are apparently just “inches away” from actually opening this building -- that has been sitting idle, fully renovated for a year or more now. It seems the delay continues to be needing staff to man it and for Captain Miscavige to feel it is safe to show his face in public. So typical of everything in the bubble. There is always something that is a new arbitrary requirement, now it’s people trained on Dave’s OEC/FEBC because THAT is the latest “breakthrough” that will make all the promises come true. Oddly they are now claiming this ideal org is different than "all the others"? How … [Read more...]
New Haven “ideal org”
Scientology is making headlines in a new article the New Have Independent. They have owned the "new" ideal org for 20 years -- yes TWENTY and have done NOTHING with it. It was one of the early announcement that Miscavige made, touting his "ideal org" program, and even had a "fly-through" CGI video showing what the renovated building would "soon" look like. This and the Battle Creek Michigan "ideal" building are probably the two oldest unrenovated ideal orgs (unless you count Toronto which has been there since before the ideal org kick even started). The locals are not impressed. Here … [Read more...]
Stratospheric Expansion
This letter was recently received by one of our readers in Australia. They have entered the stratosphere and are building a whole new world of stability and command over the environment using the most powerful tech in the Universe. No hype here at all... Apparently they have "come up through" the Golden Age of Knowledge, the Golden Age of Tech II and the Ideal Org Strategy? Those things didnt "do it" but it is going to happen now. Not sure how they came "through" the Ideal Org Strategy when there are still 3 orgs that are NOT ideal and Sydney, Melbourne and Perth are ideal … [Read more...]
Silicon Valley — Scientology Dead or Dying
There are 3 "ideal" orgs in Silicon Valley and a Mission. The last one to open was the "Silicon Valley" ideal, nestled right alongside the freeway and virtually inaccessible. But, it was a big enough building. AND it was close to Google HQ (on the other side of the freeway). So the grand announcements rang out that this ideal org was poised to rock the entire planet -- because of course they would be getting the brightest and wealthiest Google employees onto and up the Bridge and with that, they would be able to influence the world. How ironic that it is Google searches that are doing more … [Read more...]
Orange County “Ideal” Org
I recently mentioned the Orange County "ideal" Org on one of the live Q$A's. I erroneously said it was in downtown Anaheim, it is in fact in downtown Santa Ana. A viewer reached out to provide some information about the current state of this org and what happened subsequent to the great ribbon yanking that occurred 10+ years ago (with all sorts of promises as to how this new building was going to usher in a "new era" for scientology in the area and the dawn of a new civilization in Orange County. Here is the report: As of 2 years ago, I heard that they were down to about 25 staff total … [Read more...]
San Francisco Ideal Org Failing – What a Shock!
A recent promotional item from San Francisco tells the real story of this, one of the first "ideal orgs." They are oddly proud of the fact that "just since reopening these services in September" they have completed "40 students and preclears on their next Bridge steps." They are celebrating this as an "outstanding year of Bridge progress." That is 40 completions in 5 MONTHS. 20 WEEKS. That translates into 2 courses or auditing steps a week. TWO. This is not even the level of production expected of a part-time mission. Let alone an org. Let alone an “ideal” org that should have … [Read more...]
