The latest edition of the International Scientology News magazine arrived in my mailbox, and apart from the glossy puffery and fake stats, what was most remarkable was how many times they felt the need to show Miscavige’s face. Of course, he is the focus of the cover of the magazine supposedly celebrating the birthday of L. Ron Hubbard. His plastic smile and lacquered bouffant appear 16 more times -- with 4 of these full page glamor shots, as well as the back cover taken from behind him on stage. I would be embarrassed by this level of brown-nosing, but that is not an emotion felt by … [Read more...]
Disseminating Scientology is Simple Thanks to Captain Miscavige
It is amazing all the things Captain Miscavige has personally provided these powerful scientologists to enable them to "not only boom the org but truly achieve St Hill size." Obviously these otherwise awesome people are NOT using the brilliant tools Mr. Mickiewicz has toiled and labored so hard to bring them, as scientology orgs all over the world are shrinking rapidly. How long is it since Miscavige has announced a "St Hill Size org"? 20 years? The last one I recall was Joburg org -- that might have been 2004 or 2005... Yet, reaching St Hill Size is the target for all orgs -- not just … [Read more...]
The “OT Bubble” Miscavige-Movie-Thon
It seems scientology has reached new depths of cult-leader worship. Captain Miscavige has officially become the only person who matters in the world. The source of all wisdom and inspiration. The man who can do no wrong and may not be questioned. It is he, and he alone, who is "keeping the show on the road." It was he who was "gearing up for planetary expansion" (as he shut scientology down harder than than any circumstances required, mostly to cover up the fact that the "Chase Wave" required wholesale removal of registrars and executives to avoid a catastrophic prosecution). And … [Read more...]
Mickey Asks: Where’s Shelly?
This image is from the end of Jon Oliver's Last Week Tonight show on HBO. He has been one of the most consistently critical voices of David Miscavige and the abuses of scientology. He is relentless, and his bringing these things to the attention of the world is appreciated and I wanted to take a moment to thank him. Birthday Wishes: Thank you all so much for so many kind birthday wishes and messages yesterday. There's no way I can respond to them all individually, but have tried to read them and at least "like" as many as possible... Had a wonderful time with Christie and the … [Read more...]
Captain Miscavige Doing His Thing
We all knew that despite his protestations to the court that he really isn't a Florida man, Captain Miscavige has been hanging out in Clearwater for some time. He did the New Year's Event at Flag and now we have confirmation he also conducted the "March 13th" event in celebration of "Ron's 112 birthday"... Chicago is basically the only thing happening in the scientology world right now, so there are 3 different renditions of what the great man imparted to his faithful flock of mesmerized sheeple. First, from our old friend Dave Parker -- the first ED of the Chicago org back … [Read more...]
The Death of Shermanspeak
The passing of Dan Sherman shortly before we left for vacation marked the end of an era in scientology. Dan Sherman was an interesting character. He fancied himself a spy novelist, and took on the role of real life "agent" to establish a line with Gerry Armstrong when he was engaged in litigation with scientology. Sherman convinced Armstrong that he was in contact with "loyalists" who disagreed with the "new regime" of Miscavige and were working inside to overthrow Miscavige and the "new breed of management." Sherman was known as "Sheepskin" and he set up the meeting with Armstrong for me … [Read more...]
March 13th — Save the Dates (sic)
Word on the street is that there is going to be an "amazing" event for March 13th... Supposedly the "first international event" since Covid. But this amazing event doesn't have a date yet -- which seems a bit odd. No doubt, Miscavige is going to do deliver a Shermanspeak hype-fest in the Flag Auditorium like he did at New Years and this will then be sent out to scientology orgs around the world to replay. The March 13th event used to be held at Ruth Eckerd Hall every year. But it's not going to be this year. Why not? Two reasons: First, Miscavige, as I predicted, … [Read more...]
Captain David Miscavige Is Served
Everyone with an interest in this is probably already aware of the fact of the court order issued yesterday in the Baxter/Paris human trafficking lawsuit in Tampa. You can read the full order from Magistrate Judge Julie S. Sneed here: Order declaring Miscavige served I wanted to have this document recorded here at my blog even though this is not new news and Aaron Smith-Levin put it on his YouTube channel and Tony Ortega put it up on his substack yesterday. I have a few comments about this and some excerpts from the ruling that I feel are worthy of note. First, this was a fairly … [Read more...]
The David Miscavige Film Festival
Oh, what could be more fun than a David Miscavige Film Festival? Sitting for hours (punctuated by the obligatory standing ovations to prevent dozing off) watching Mr. Mickiewicz spout Shermanspeak proclaiming the great accomplishments of scientology taking over the world. I can imagine those who show up (perhaps because they are doing lower conditions?) feel this vibe: Back in the "good old days" of scientology this would have been "L. Ron Hubbard tape plays" or perhaps showings of the Hitchman Interview and Clearing Congress Films. These are the only visual presentations … [Read more...]
The Scientology Celebrity Centre “Network” is Rapidly Disappearing
Aaron Smith-Levin did a video about the recent closure of the "Celebrity Centre Munich" and the abandoned St. Pete "Life Improvement Center" opened by the Tampa "Ideal Org." As every good scientologist knows, it is a High Crime in scientology to close or combine orgs. Since David Miscavige has taken over scientology, there have been many other closures and "combinings" -- including St Hill Foundation, specifically started by Ron himself with a lot of policy written by him about why "Foundation" (night and weekend) orgs were needed. Because Aaron … [Read more...]
