Merry Christmas

December 25, 2020 By Mike Rinder 28 Comments

For those who celebrate Christmas, have a wonderfully enjoyable time with friends and family today and over the weekend. For those who don't celebrate this occasion, have a wonderful day too. Really, no excuse is needed to have a wonderful day! And of course, there is always one thing to be joyful about. You are not locked inside the scientology bubble and can think for yourself. The greatest freedom anyone can ever attain. I will likely leave this post up for a couple of days, and take a break myself this weekend. Regraded Being will be here with a new classic on Monday.   … [Read more...]

How About a Podcast?

April 23, 2020 By Mike Rinder 402 Comments

We have so many people ask us when we are coming back to continue our work, but, circumstances have made some things impossible right now. So, we were thinking of things we could do and wondered if a Podcast might be something worth looking into.  We could record episodes without a team of people to operate lights and cameras etc. What do you think of the idea? If you think it might be worth exploring, we would love to hear what you would be interested in hearing about. And even ideas for a good name for it. Are there specific things you felt we didn't cover in The Aftermath series … [Read more...]

An Open Letter to My Family first published on 25 May 2010

March 7, 2020 By Mike Rinder 22 Comments

See my announcement on Friday -- I am revisiting earlier posts during my vacation. Each day there will be a different one. While I might write this a bit differently today it still overall delivers the same message... Dear Andrew, Taryn & Cathy, You made a big issue out of my failure to respond to your letters, so I am responding herewith to the letters each of you sent. I note that Jude sent me a letter when I was living in Denver – but didn’t send another in the second round after I moved near where she lives, and Benjamin didn’t send me a letter at all. I guess the Church is … [Read more...]

Family Vacation

March 6, 2020 By Mike Rinder 16 Comments

We are taking a one week vacation with the family and friends. During this time, it will be difficult to do new postings. I have selected a number of earlier favorite and most popular posts to republish. I have opted primarily for older ones, things that current readers may never have read before -- mostly from more than 5 years ago. There is nothing scientific about the selection. Just what I came across that took my fancy. Things will return to normal on the 15th of March. Some of these postings are worth a new read or reread in light of events that have transpired since they … [Read more...]

Scientology’s Latest Lie About Me

January 18, 2020 By Mike Rinder 68 Comments

While there have been many, many lies propagated by scientology about me, it still surprises me sometimes when they offer up new ones. This appeared a few days ago on my daughter's blog (though she is just the name and face that is used -- this garbage is written by the same people that churn out the drivel that appears on the STAND League and Freedom smear sites). The idea that I committed some grievous bodily harm on my ex-wife when she and 6 others stalked and accosted me in a doctors parking lot in 2010 has been thoroughly debunked on this blog (see Mike Rinder: "Lady Killer") … [Read more...]

We Did It!

December 28, 2019 By Mike Rinder 80 Comments

Ah, the pride of a false sense of accomplishment! My daughter and her OSA handlers put out this happy message of Christmas Cheer. "We Did It! I got my father fired."   It is pretty incredible how blatantly they follow Hubbard's dictates to cost "enemies" their jobs. Such a cheery "holiday" message from the "church" that believes "there was no Jesus" and that those who believe in him are the victims of psychs who "implanted" them. Scientology claims they cost me my job, and they are proud of this. It's not a true statement, but then again, most public utterances … [Read more...]

Our 10th Anniversary

November 5, 2019 By Mike Rinder 67 Comments

The first blog post on mikerindersblog.org was on 5 November 2009. It's been 10 years but it sure doesn't seem that long! It's been a lot of fun along the way. I have met many wonderful people here (and quite a number subsequently IRL which has been especially gratifying).  Hopefully I have opened a window to discovering the truth about scientology for many. This blog would not have been possible without the support of many who have helped. While it is a labor of love (or perhaps passion) it IS labor and first my thanks to the many contributors who have provided content and … [Read more...]

Aftermath Announcement

August 14, 2019 By Mike Rinder 405 Comments

In June we shot our series finale of The Aftermath, which will air in the next couple of weeks. A&E will announce the date soon. It will be our last show on A&E. When we began this journey, we did not anticipate more than a single season. But the response was so overwhelming and we felt strongly that the people who stepped forward deserved to be heard. We were not previously aware of some of the abuses that came to light, and we felt they compelled further episodes. And of course, Scientology’s response to the series played a role too. Scientology is a formidable opponent with … [Read more...]

The (Not Tom) Cruise Debrief and An Announcement

March 26, 2019 By Mike Rinder 131 Comments

My apologies for being remiss. A few have asked how the vacation was as I made no mention of it here... It was amazing. I have waited to post this until we were ready with a special announcement. It's at the end of this short report on the cruise. We all had such a good time. A cruise is an excuse to eat and drink too much. Check. Do silly things -- like build a device to drop a raw egg 8 stories to the ship's atrium floor without it breaking -- we did!  Visit interesting locations. Check. Do things we had never done before. Check. Spend time with friends (adults together while the 8 … [Read more...]

“I’m a Christian and I’m also a Scientologist” -- and he's also lying. If you are a christian you are NOT a scientologist. See what #scientology said to the IRS to qualify for tax exemption. And what L. Ron Hubbard said about Christ and christianity. https://www.mikerindersblog.org/im-a-christian-and-im-also-a-scientologist/

@jj1109 @UltioetVeritas @MikeRinder @LeahRemini @KarendlaCariere @tarpleyhitt @thedailybeast @randomname7700 @TeamSPNetwork @SkyBird03914123 @Deana828 It’s been well documented that SeaOrg members do not receive much education other than Scientology training. On the recent Fair Game podcast Marc Headley confirmed that he was encouraged to drop out when just 15 years old. They appear confident in their ignorance of acronyms.
