Scientology In Detroit

April 7, 2014 By Mike Rinder 41 Comments

danger keep out

A little item sent in by a Special Correspondent from the Detroit area.

They have had an “ideal” building for some time, sitting idle while the existing org struggles to keep the doors open on its current building.

If you click on this image, you will see the Google Street View of the front door of the Detroit Ideal Org building. Zoom in on the sign on the door. This is not a shooped image.

Sort of encapsulates the state of Scientology and its “ideal orgs.”

Detroit already was in a big bank building downtown. It was made out of stone, cement, marble, steel and glass, with high ceilings. In the winter the heating bills were outrageous so of course there often was no heat. Staff gathered in the sauna for a bit to warm up. Wonderful PR. Looks like the same thing will be happening here too.

The org was moved ten miles north into a nice suburb, right downtown Royal Oak, because Detroit closed up at 5pm and no one in their right mind would walk the streets of downtown after dark. Foundation org did not have a fun time of it.

Not sure what the downtown area is like now. It’s supposedly improving? That’s good, but out of the small amount of people still willing to do the RC$-style Scn in that area I bet they do NOT live near downtown. They live in the suburbs so will have to drive a long way. More of the same…saying you’re watching out for the public’s welfare when it’s the exact opposite. The staff and the die-hard public must be feeling awful.

Actually, this is what a tax shelter looks like. The owner obviously is not trying to make money off this property (or it would say “welcome”). Instead, it makes it easier to say “this is church property” when you buy non-income producing property and thus are not subject to taxation.

I just can’t get over this! Mike and Special Correspondent, what a FIND! The cult will never live this down. I’ll bet its all over the net by now. I’m gonna go check. Oh, and one more thing: to that wonderful Detroit CICS staff or pubic who posted that sign – THANK YOU. Soon enough you’ll end up lurking and hopefully one day posting on this blog. You’ve got friends here.

Scientology bankrupted and broke the parishoner’s so they could amass wealth in real estate. Check out Tony Ortega’s blog today – J. Swift reveals tax returns showing the cult is sitting on billions of dollars.

Lurkers – stop giving Scientology your money. Scientology Organization acts like they are broke and then proceed to bankrupt members for every reason they can lie about.

There is no transparency in this monster cult, so insider’s don’t know that the cult is sitting on billions. Staff provide “volunteer services” while the Organization amasses great wealth.

Slave labor for the exchange of what? 64 years of promising “we have the tech to set man free”……”oops, we don’t have the tech – SP’s got in and changed it”….”now we have it”….”oops, we don’t have it – SP’s are everywhere and they keep messing with the tech” etc for infinity!

Send these tax records to everyone you know who is still in. Please write to your Congressman, Senator, anyone who can “do something about it” and don’t forget the IRS officials and the FBI!

Miscavige lives a lavish lifestyle while the slaves run the day to day criminal organization. This is called “enurement” and is cause to strip the tax exempt status of this big corporate business hiding behind a religious cloak!

Does anyone have information on the move to the new clo building in Denmark?
    Bigger? Smaller? Cheaper rent?

I know the location is way out of town…

Miscavige always knew Scientology didn’t work when he discovered he could lie to LRH and get away with it. He’s been taking Scientologists as idiots ever since, turning the subject and its followers into a laughing stock, while he privately makes a fortune. Unfortunately for him, he’s trapped, he can’t leave now because he’ll be found out.

And so long as OSA keep covering for him, the decline continues.

Is that an old bank? It sure doesn’t look inviting. No sign of “new civilisation” or buzzing with auditors and winning preclears.

“Scientology” was added by hand – vandalism, perhaps? Or a Freudian slip?

It’s called poaching. We had to get them before Flag got there. Of course being Snr C/S Cincinnati, I made several trips up there to “reg” them with an e-meter. I was on orders that everyone who had my “metered assessment” needed a higher level action that amazingly we could provide – typical Scilon regging. Somehow I made the meter read on what I wanted (out-Int, PTS Rundown, blah, blah). I always wore cowboy boots for all BS I was slingin’. To add salt to the wound, the “org” left me hanging with over $2,000 of un-reimbursed expenses before we got ordered to stay away. Thanks for stirring up those crappy memories! 🙂

Just own it and move on SirRalliart. We all have scars and unpleasant history. Live now with integrity, and do now, what will make you proud of yourself. That pile will grow and you’ll be ok.

Don’t ya hate it when you’re trying to be sarcastic and somebody takes you seriously? “Just own it” – I’m still laughing about that one. Sounds like something from that chapter of whatever book it was entitled Responsibility. I tried selling my memories, but I guess I’m forced to own them! 🙂

Yep, I’ve moved on. I’m pretty proud of my new custom house on 2 acres with a 5-car garage full of Mopar Muscle. I guess my pile is growing…and I feel pretty damn ok. Cheers.
