The worst part of reading this comic is the knowledge that thousands more people will be forced to suffer in the coming decades for Ron’s mindless scam. Lives will be destroyed and ended prematurely. Many victims haven’t even been born yet, but their fate is as good as determined.
And there is absolutely nothing we can do to shut down this demonic machinery operating automatically, unless a coconut fell on Miscavige head (making a COB sound).

In the spirit of today’s blog, here is a fascinating book on a cult I’d never heard of called the Word of Faith Fellowship. There are some striking parallels to Scientology.

One of the reasons that was used to raise money (which is the only reason they got up in the morning) to finance planetary dissemination was that SMP would fill the orgs.
    It hasn’t and never will.
A natural marketing law is that something must “hit” you in a fraction of time or it’s gone.
Try and see that the only thing that “hits” you is boredom.
The whole script seems to come more from Dave’s ego than from consistent surveys.
After all, who would ever contradict him?
The real truth is that all orgs have been emptying or have been empty for several decades and NOBODY never came up with a good reason.

Yes, Aqua, another blatant disregard for the PLs of LRH. He clearly laid down the criteria for joining the Sea Org but it keeps getting swept aside. After all, Scientology is now run by a certain diminutive individual who has discovered that LRH had it wrong and that HE is the one to make it go right! Well, we can see where that is going! I saw the results myself when I was a staff member at CCNashville.

Alcoboy, they are FOs and they were thrown out the window LONG before the Demented Midget was running things. You either weren’t in HCO in the SO back then or you have a memory glitch. I remember an LSD recruitment pilot being done when El Tubo was running things. Also recruiting “wogs” into the S.O. You see, most scamologists did NOT want to joint the SO at any point so recruiters have ALWAYS been frantic because non-producers go to the RPF.

The problem with the dissemination formula is that when someone is asked what’s ruining their life, they come up with some bogus thing to be agreeable. If they ever get roped into the cult, they’ll have a real ruin on their hands. It’s called Scientology.

That’s because the real problem with the Dissemination Formula is that it is utter horseshit! I saw this when I was working a stress test booth in Nashville. Only a couple of us could actually find a ‘ruin’ and even when we did the preclear still wouldn’t buy DMSMH. A friend of mine still thinks that the most effective way to sell Dianetics was those tv commercials back in the eighties. He was on staff at Boston Org at that time and told me that they sold hundreds of books that way.

Here we were trying to sell Dianetics on the street or in malls and making a big deal out of selling even ONE book. Why not have them in BOOKSTORES where people GO to BUY books, duh?

Nicole Kidman is a superb actor. Tom Cruise, who dumped her, should have 1/10 the acting ability she has. With few exceptions he’s a 1 trick pony. She, on the other hand is skilled and versatile. Naturally beautiful, effortlessly elegant, still she can change her look, play any character, nail any accent. One of her best performances in my opinion was of the working class girl who is a school janitor in “The Human Stain”. She was amazing in that. Made me cry, she was so real. Blubbering like an idiot. (Warning: this film is not a comedy.)

Kidman and Cruise exemplify to me what Scientology does to artists. Kidman has been able to refine her craft since she left, winning major professional accolades including awards for stage performances, and of course the Oscar.

Cruise, who once showed some promise as an actor and was nominated for Oscars 3 times early in his career, is now only able to play a one-dimensional action hero figure, while his other attempts at acting roles fail miserably. Apparently even after all his Scientology processing he still suffers too much from stage fright to take on theater roles, just the sort of work that Kidman and other actors use to hone their professional abilities.

One of my favorite pics of Nicole is when some paparazzi caught her coming out of her lawyers office with her hands made into fists held over her head and her eyes closed, face up and saying “Yes!”…meaning it was over. From what I understand Crooze and his bff Miscavige put her through hell…but she had the last laugh.

If anyone is not familiar with Nicole Kidman’s work and would like to begin to check out her superb skill, please let me recommend one of her first films.

        To Die For 1995 https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114681

This is one of those great films that grabs ahold of you from the very start and just never lets go – leaving you enjoying ever moment. It is just one tiny slice of Nicole’s great career and I’d like to say it’s also one of her best. But almost everything she has ever done is, “one of her best”.

I was very happy when I heard this couple had split. She is far too beautiful and talented to spend her life with any dupe of the scam.

I got a good chuckle from this strip when one of the ladies referred to Nicole as, “the woman who almost destroyed his Eternity.” I would guess that it is Nicole who will be eternally grateful he is gone from her life.

There are more young ladies to add to that list. I remembered there was a very attractive young lady named “Nazanin Boniadi” and it was decided that she would become yet another Potential Spouse Support for the world’s greatest actor – as if the world’s greatest actor would be unable to find his own girlfriend.

I have to stop there for a sec and puzzle over that. I’m trying very hard to stop writing long posts. But this event was just too bizarre – even for the most bizarre organization on this planet. They had to find a girl friend for this guy? He couldn’t find one on his own? It is just too bizarre for contemplation. Sigh. I digress.

Apparently, after they found this young lady for him, they decided she was a PTS (Potential Trouble Spouse) and they wrangled over what to do about her. Again, too bizarre for reality. This was a difficult problem they had to discuss and debate and spend time trying to find an answer? He couldn’t just say, “goodbye” to her?

I must not go on any further. I could spend hours boggling my brain over this. But the short answer is, “Yes. There seems to be a list of young ladies this scam needs to manage for the greatest actor on this planet. He is unable to manage his love life on his own? I am astounded. But Nazannin is yet another very fortunate lady who escaped a dreadful life of pain and suffering and servitude. I wonder if she really has any idea just how fortunate she is?

Alcoboy, I think you’re on to something about Cruise’s early promise, as I addressed in another comment.

I think that Dianetics and Scientology auditing tend to “flatten” the emotional range of actors (and probably other artists), plus the doctrine trains people to approach life in a very formulaic wait antithetical to creativity and the arts. They also appear to result in people unleashing childish behavior mistaken for psychological freedom (including among rank-and-file members). Thus the careers of most of the older celebrities they attracted have petered out, and a lot of their younger and born-in actors portray juvenile and flaky characters which are just sort of playing to type (acting out their everyday personality) but then are unable to progress into more mature roles and so become has-been one-hit-wonders.

Is there any doubt as to why everything goes South for them?

I think the answer is very simple. These monsters are absolutely NOT the most ethical monsters on this planet. They are absolutely money grubbing con artist monsters who don’t care one bit about the welfare of their indentured slaves. They dig their claws into them as much as possible and when there is nothing left, they send them on their way South.

Yes, I’ll concede that in his earlier pre-Scientology films he showed promise. And he was pretty good in that Fourth of July movie wherein he played a crippled vet in a wheel chair. But then he became a one trick pony action adventure star. For the money, I suppose. Pressure from the cult. Similar to Kirstie Alley’s situation. She showed promise in the beginning. Then after Cheers and dumping her husband because he wouldn’t join the cult, she started piling on the pounds and instead of supporting her in losing weight and improving her acting craft and honing her comedic skills the cult encouraged her to exploit her weight and make money off of it. That’s when her whole public persona became weight-centric – up and down, up and down. That’s when she became a slob and a bore. Its a shame because not only did she have stunning looks (although that’s not unusual in Hollywood) but the promise of talent, back in the day. She could have been “somebody” to quote Terry Malloy in On the Waterfront. A contender. And she’s probably a nice person, a decent sort, underneath all the synthetic cult personality. I guess we can all agree that the cult doesn’t do an actor’s career much good. More like outright harm!

    Great one RB,
You absolutely capture the bubble they are trapped inside.

Draft Self-Dissemination Drill; per SMP; pending COB signing as source:

    1. Inform oneself honestly of the REAL intentions of the group that is love bombing you.
    2. Google the top 20 sites to examine what is REALLY done by that group.
    3. Decide how best YOU would survive for the rest of this life for yourself, family, and your numerous friends or coworkers.
    4. Evaluate for yourself which choice best meets YOUR goals, purposes, and plans.
    5. Evaluate the risks of the different paths to achieve YOUR personal aims.
    6. Flow in the direction that seems RIGHT for you. You do NOT have to inform anybody what you decide.
    7. Do it.

Very moving edition this week, RB. I usually react the same way to most of your editions. I feel angry about how the people who run this scam have destroyed so many innocent lives and for no real good reason. All the money they have stuffed into their coffers is bound to end up … well, ever see the movie, “Treasure of the Sierra Madre”? It’s a great film about some people who work really hard to achieve something they believe will make the rest of their lives akin to a dream come true by accumulating a large amount of money. But in the end, it is just inevitable. All the money is just Gone With the Wind so to speak and only a tiny bit of it has any promise to do any good.

What am I trying to say? I feel a huge wave of sadness at this edition of the strip. All the people who have ever been duped. All the people who ever felt joyful at the prospect of a better life. All of it just wasted by a stupid con man who never really understood where true joy can be found.

P.S. If anyone here figures out where true joy can be found, please let me know. I am not so egomaniacal to suggest I ever knew. Peace and love to all of you from a very old hippie. From what I can tell you all deserve a lot of it.

Well, by a conman who didn’t understand what joy really IS. There’s an ad running that mentions the Greeks had 4 words for “Love”. LRH didn’t think it was worth saying ONE word about it. His actions showed he didn’t know what it was. Still, he DID know how to snuff it out for any who worked for or around him.

If you’re upset with someone you’re not angry or enraged, you are ‘ARC broken’. What the fuck is that? If we called someone to get them to buy their Basics books and they told us to never call again, we would just label their CF folder ARCX and then a Sea Org member would call them back the next day to try to smooth it all out.

Thirty years ago, Scientology tried to separate me from my wife and kids. They set up meetings with my wife where she met eligible dedicated Scientologists who were “on purpose”. It failed when she got onto the scheme. It helped convince her to leave Scientology. A few years later I bought a huge monster of a house and moved in. The Scientologists parked out front and put promotional material in the mail box. I owned another house and they did the same thing. They staked out in front and filled the mail box with junk letters. One day when I was in the monster house, they actually knocked on the front door asking to meet my wife. My wife was on the second floor keeping herself away. While I was answering the door, they had two other Scientologists peeking and trying to see inside. Well, I had a monster statue of the Buddha in the middle of the large living room. I was having monks from the Temple come over for “talks”. I gave the head Scientologist my cell phone number on purpose and asked her to call me. About a week later she was foolish enough to call and I blasted her with the truth about Hubbard. She never called again. She was about 19 and had been born into the Sea Org. Thee people will stop at nothing to make fools out of themselves.

They split me and my wife up as to try similar tactics. My wife was leverage to keep me out, glad she did. One of the SO ‘handling’ me rambled about being married to a non-Scientologist. They actively know there will be issues in a divided faith home, openly say they are fine with it but ultimately try to either convert both to $cn or break them up. Obviously you would not convert.

I was recently asked by a friend: “What is Scientology?” Thirty years ago I would have lent him my copy of the book by the same name. In this year of 2020, I said: “Why don’t you poke around in “Mike Rinder’s Blog?” A few days later, he said: “Dude! I can’t believe you were in that!” He was especially incredulous about RB’s cartoon “Regraded Being.” He could not believe people talked like that! I assured him it was true! Gee whiz Mike! Looks like your blog has denied another piece of raw meat to the cult!

Tell him it’s an extortion and human tracking business disguised as a religion with David Miscavige its biggest shareholder.

I don’t know why but I really look forward to Friday Regraded Being! I really hope that there really are two young women with a lot of real life living to do actually breaking the rules talking about what a load of crap the cult is.

Yeah, every one who has to ‘disseminate’ to the public would rather cut off a toe than do that. As for the TC and JT references, not even they can save $cientology. Have you ever noticed how much work for $cientology they do? Crickets make more noise….

Yeah when Miscavige gave Crooze his Freedumb Medal of Valor and then spewed how Crooze is “The most dedicated Scientologist I know”…I thought of the multitude of Sea Org that were there that night who had planned and prepared and put on that huge extravaganza Crooze-fest. Each one of them hungry and hoping to be left with at least some of the leftover or thrown away food from the banquet. Some of them probably hadn’t slept more than an hour here and there for weeks. Most probably hadn’t slept in a real bed for even longer. All had signed a “Billion Year Contract”… but Crooze was the most “dedicated Scientologist” David Miscavige knew.

He’s so dedicated he hasn’t lifted a finger to help Miscavige. He hasn’t appeared even once on SciTV. Even a rat knows when the ship is sinking.

“Self disseminate” … Haha … That will go down as possibly the greatest Regraded Being term ever … (even better than Mitt Romney’s “Self deporting”) …

What the two young ladies don’t realize is that people DO self disseminate. The result is that they see Scientology for what it is and leave.
