That supervisor who “works for peanuts” every day should completely understand and agree with the “empty pockets” displayed in the clay demo. Flunk her for being so blind to the real truth.
RB — Holy Cow! If it is true that “Brevity is the soul of wit,” you’ve nailed it here.
(Like this beleaguered student, I also never got much traction attempting to invoke, “What is true for you is what you have observed for yourself” from an essay recited-at-every-Sunday-service titled, “Integrity.”)
I remember using it in my routing off staff interviews.
Anything I found true through observation, if it somehow flew in the face of KWS, could be easily denied by declaring I had a misunderstood, was out-ethics, or was PTS. The ability to observe and determine truth within Scientology was a lie.
I’m amazed, looking back, that I managed to do so in a way that didn’t get me declared.
Any one or two or all three, but when these failed, “Using Policy To Stop!” would get flung at you 🙂
I recall my response to that, back in the day:
“Um, wait, let me see if I understand; this is an LRH policy letter forbidding the pointing out of off-policy activities in a program or project if and/or when in so doing, said pointing out of such off-policy actions prevents them from continuing!”
The answer I got? “Correct! THAT is using policy to stop!”
So then I said, “Well, OK, if there’s this policy letter forbidding the pointing out of incorrect policy because it will then stop the off-policy actions from continuing, then why have any policy at all? Why bother with policy – just do whatever you want, any way you want!”
The answer I got? “Find your MU”.
And it was at that point that I pretty much decided that these people were nuts.

He would have passed the Demo if the clay persons had been jumping and dancing joyfully instead of being all tapped out.

Or if one of the clay people was handing the other an IAS trophy.

Yep, that pic should be the graphic in any dictionary next to the word scientology!

So did you find the MU? You must not have because if you did you would not have the consideration that we are a bunch of nuts.

What’s a clay demo for food?
Chris Shugart says
Made from Play-Dough. Yum! Forget the rice and beans.
otherles says
Rice and Beans is okay in sufficient quantities. (Which I’ve heard that Sea Org members don’t get.)
