The Q&A session began at 2PM. It is now 6PM. But,so far, there have been only 4 comments posted to this blog.
If it was truly fantastic, I think there would have been more than 4 comments about it. Many people here will wonder why I would post such a tiny remark about the number of people posting here about that event and why I would make a negative post about people that I truly believe are heroes.
In the past, I have made a few posts suggesting that people are growing tired of hearing the same old stuff – over and over again. It has just become terribly boring.
There is no doubt that Mike and Leah are truly heroes for standing up to this evil cult and it is really a result of their work that so many people are now losing interest. That is truly a heroic achievement. But the current number of members has shrunk to the point where this cult will soon be a minor footnote in history.
But there just seems something fishy about the constant promotion of Mike’s book and the number of people who seem to post how the book is truly magnificent and fantastic.
There have been about 100 posts about this book made here since it was published. In my estimation, about 99 of the 100 posts say it was truly magnificent and fantastic. Only about one post in 100 had anything negative to say about the book. That post actually did not say anything negative about the book. It complained about the overdone harangue promoting the book.
When this blog was first begun, people had something interesting and important to say about this cult. But today, the cult is no longer big enough to be considered a danger to anyone. It’s just a matter of time before it disappears and the leader winds up in prison, on the run or in hiding somewhere.
I would like to express the opinion that it’s about time Mike progresses to the next phase of his life – whatever that may be. It’s about time he realizes there is no further need to inform the public of the danger of this cult.
It’s just no longer sufficiently dangerous for people to care – and it would appear that very few people do still care. It’s the same people expressing the same opinions – over and over again – and it’s just gotten so boring that I’d like to see Mike progress to the next phase of his life – whatever that may be.
If it is boring you, please don’t waste your time coming here. I agree, the blog has a limited purpose and value — but one thing is that it is a repository of a great deal of information.
It seems a little odd that you think I should “move on to other things” while complaining that I talk about the “other things” I have moved onto (book and YouTube)?
The Aftermath is a milestone good thing, which by doing all this YouTube spreading the continuing feeble official Scientology moves’ failures, gives those caught in Scientology needing Aftermath help, a lifeline.
Lifeline is the key word about all your and Marc’s and Claire’s and Aaron’s and Chris’ and Jon Atack’s YouTube channels.
Aftermath Fdn is a precious lifeline, hope for any second and third gen Scientologists who as yet don’t know there is even life after Scientology.
Your presence on the internet is a whole new era lifeline!!!
And like you said, there is so much historical weeds stories from ex Scientology long term OT 8s, OT 7s, just priceless history details way above any academic expert delving into Scientology’s history, in the comments that have been placed on your blog over the decade or so now.
But the Aftermath is the best lifeline around, for ex Scientologists/ex-staffs, in Scientology’s history. (other than people’s families if they were so lucky)

I was a first gen wishful thinking Scientologist, so have the pre Scientology wishful thinking in earlier similar supernatural groups to contend with. Bogus bunk supernatural groups bait wishful thinking persons.
What extraordinary pontification. The time it must have taken you to type out this lecture could have far better been spent pouring a glass of wine and reading a book – or whatever it is that makes you happy. Something that makes me – and so many people – happy is watching a good man conquering a lifetime in a high control group and choosing to use his time to help others.
