Mitch Brisker, former film, video and ad director for David Miscavige has written a book which is available today. I highly recommend it.
I summed up my thoughts about it in a blurb I wrote for the book cover:
The improbable, yet astonishingly real story of a young artist drawn into a cult at a moment of vulnerability who, as an “outsider” is brought into its highly secretive, innermost sanctum. Mitch Brisker’s perspective is unique, powerful and insightful. His eye for detail and meaning, and his ability to explain and communicate concepts to an audience as a talented filmmaker translate brilliantly to the written word. Decades working for scientology’s Machiavellian leader at the control center of the so-called religion are detailed, analyzed and brought to life as Mitch recounts his journey to the dark side and ultimate realization that he had been caught in an illusion of evil masquerading as good. This is an important addition to the body of work exposing the true nature of scientology.
