Hi everybody, I am not an ex-or-current Scientologist and have no intention of becoming one. Just thought I’d share an experience that happened a few years ago here in Melbourne, Australia. We were walking on a family day out with out two kids and my parents along an entertainment precinct when I noticed a stall selling Dianetics. They tried their usual pitch but I was well aware of who they were even then so I politely declined and kept walking with the rest of the family. A little while later as we were walking back the same way they were packing up, and in doing so one of the older guys there ( early 60’s?) just smiled the saddest smile you could ever imagine as he silently passed my little boy a balloon. He did not try to engage with us or anything and we politely just said thank you and walked on. The sorrow in that mans eyes always stuck with me even as he tried to hide it behind a smile. Who knows what had happened to him? We should always remember that they are people, beneath all the facade, and very well may be heartbroken inside.
Hi Steve Crawford,Very good to meet you. Thank you for your sensitive post.Perhaps the cos older man you saw got misty eyed because your little boy reminded him of a son or grandson he had not been able to see or contact in years.Although he did not sell you a book,he just might have given up on that.Considered very downstat in the cos world.Yes many staff & Sea Org may be heartbroken inside,I was SO & I became so,but not in the beginning. There are white hearts & black hearts & within the cos cult one learns to tread carefully.I would love to visit your beautiful city of Melbourne one day.I’m from Boston, Mass but live in the Deep South now, Baton Rouge, Louisiana! My best to you & yours Ann.
Hi Ann B Watson,
Thanks for the comments. 40 yrs+ for me also. But I was on a personal trek of discovery before Scientology, so observation and analysis is something I thrive on. Maybe my training and profession in technical fields. Like so many others’personal accounts can testify, it’s not like we were all airheads and wishful thinking that got us in. Actual experiences did take place of a fantastic nature. So my personal endeavor to learn is still on. Finding the data that I “absolutized” is very relieving. A major one I shed was the constant evaluation buzz in the back of my mind about “how can this great and fun-loving person be in such good shape with so much aberration?” Good observation+fixed idea = Yikes. Hah! Laughable now.
Hi Sortingitout,Thank you for your post. That you have a technical bent & profession in a technical field is most interesting. My CO @ Asho F was a very accomplished engineer if I recall correctly & we in our small team adored him.For me on the other hand, not an exactly an airhead but as I posted Mike the other day,he can distill an argument down to it’s purest form & have a response that is concise & logical. While I having the writer poet bent, chase the phantom, broken dreams & lost paths that wind through my mind.I need to be less emotional & more level headed at times. So I joined the SO as a dreamer on the waves of help to mankind.Just did not realize the powers that were had different ,very different ideas for me at the end of my time there.Yes so much is laughable for me now & that is all good.Ann.
Hi I yawnalot,
Yes I have had the opportunity to read several books and take in a lot of fresh air, and continuing as you and a lot of friends suggest, I know I am in for lots of changes. I love the wiseoldgoat and friendsoflrh sites. Phenomenal amount of work that help getting the facts straight and the context in mind. Context vs. no context can make the difference between a malicious push vs. saving the kid from getting run over. Appropriateness needs context.
🙂
Good luck with it all, sanity is a slippery eel but you’ll do OK if you keep both eyes open.
(psst – I still reckon there’s a way out, but don’t tell anyone 🙂 )
I laughed at the second panel where the guy is telling the pregnant woman that he can’t understand why “you girls never seem to understand how much Dev-T you create with these stupid pregnancies.”
Back when I was pretty green and had just joined staff they sent me to pick up two missionairs. It was Phx in summer and was over 100° and for some reason they were at the bus stop. I’m guessing they took the bus from the airport. So, I pull up and there are two young guys, maybe 20 or younger, dressed in full Navy Admiral uniforms. They were wearing the full SO uniform with the hats and everything. This was unusual on a few levels, but my reaction after they explained that it was a SO uniform was that I felt sorry for them and concerned. It was really hot and the desert sun is pretty brutal, and they were sweating profusely. They said they were proud and it was an honor to wear the uniforms. They were so much polyester back then. There are probably different uniforms now.
Hi chrismann9,Good to meet you. Here in Baton Rouge La,July is a blowtorch! But after 19 yrs here I am used to it.Your post made me recall all the polyester in SO Asho F starting in 74 for me.One evening we had a fancy reg the millionaires & billionaires at the Palladium party. We were told not to wear SO uniforms but long navy skirts & shiny polyester light blue tops.Hot the only good point was they washed & dried really fast & didn’t wrinkle. But we girls looked like disco dance night gone bad.I even put a polyester blue dahlia flower in my hair & blue eyeshadow,Oh my! However I got a rich fish from South America to sign on the spot for all training & auditing he could get in Hollywood outside of Flag so I took a big win! I’m sorry for it all now, that KoolAid was really on,plus upstat was always needed & wanted.Ethics was sick of seeing me.Those poor SO members you took care of,no honor in that uniform now,for me at least.Ann.
Hmmm, maybe I’m seeing a pattern here: Sea Borg uniforms are hot and stuffy, hence they drink more CO$ “Kool Aid”….a convenient “vicious circle” that keeps them in-line and faithful to their cause…..
Hi Btuce, I think you are onto something! The vicious cycle of KoolAid $ & hot SO Uniforms, being worn while the $s are collected! On the deck of a ship back in the day even dress whites were hot.Ann.
Hello, I am new commenting here. Since leaving the CoS a couple years ago, (declare full of generalities and no specifics) I have read the blogs and I have to thank all of you fun, perceptive and articulate people on Mike’s, Marty’s, and other blogs that have helped me “decompress”. I appreciate the moderators not censoring the wide spectrum of opinions, thoughts, positions, and rebuttals as it’s a daily confirmation that we are a free society, we let each other express ourselves, and we are not afraid of thoughts and ideas. As my username Sortingitout indicates, regarding Dn and Scn, I am of the mind of not throwing the baby with the bath water. By reason of our continued passion for following up the blogs and reading comments, I would wager we all felt there was a baby there, that’s why we started Scientology and continued to the bitter end. Now which part is the baby, and which part is the bathwater? I know some will say “what baby?”. Regardless, I have greatly benefited from the blogs and the comments, and reading all the “coming out” individual stories, from sublime baby to heart-wrenching bath water. It has really helped in starting to sort things out.
Referring to one of today’s cartoons, how many times did we get the Shoe-Fits-All “Oh, it’s just the confusion blowing off!”, whether from our FSM, reg, Course Sup, DofT, MAA . . . In order to explain away the most stupid actions. I realized this a few days ago while talking to my wife, now that we finally can have actual discussions about the Tech, go all-out on our actual experiences, and getting great benefits from this (Pheeww! A little bit of airing out the old cranium attic!).
It dawned on me it would be worthwhile to take apart the original premise and the subsequent CoS-Inc alterations. I discovered there was some workable truth, but, as usual, IT’S NOT 100% TRUE! By now, I think it is becoming clear that this last exclamated point is seen to be the key to the upset of many with LRH statements, Dianetics and Scientology besides the despicable behavior of our favorite dm-dm dm dm-dm. Actually think of Beethoven’s symphony, dm dm dm dmmmm, dm dm dm dmmmm.
The original LRH material on this topic I have come up with is HCO BULLETIN OF 6 JANUARY 1959, FIELD ACTIVITIES, worth reading to get the full context, where there is this one phrase “Every time you put some order into a pc or a group, or society, a little confusion blows off.“
He does not say “all seems to go to shit!”, “all hell breaks loose!”. But the non-confront intention of staff or others with vested interests to blow off any outpoints has developed this self-serving Group Think. It sounds so cool and mystically true! “It’s just the confusion blowing off!”. Never mind they just got you into insolvency, or told you to disconnect from your Dad.
The reason it is important to break this down is that the action taken to “put in order” may be a complete blunder, in either assumption, plan, or execution. In which case you sure are going to have lots of confusion blowing off! And for good reasons. If one sits with the “100% true” datum in mind, it opens the door to continuing the wrong course of action. It’s happened to me many times.
I break it down this way:
1) The basic of putting order is rearrangement of MEST, people, rules, policies, etc . . .
2) This means CHANGE of position in space, ideas, new ideas . . . And therefore one also has to maybe let go of previous ideas and adopt new ones, i.e. change one’s mind.
3) The validity of the action and the efficiency with which those changes are executed will determine the amount of randomity that will appear.
4) “Blow off” in the LRH datum actually is concerned with the appearance of an increase in randomity. It only hopes that this randomity will actually blow , i.e. disappear. But the emphasis of use is on the detection of this increase in randomity.
5) At that point one has to assess whether the character and amount of randomity is from the unavoidable issues of implementing change – even of a good idea, OR whether it is due to the action just being a plain bad idea.
Point 5 is where we’ve been idiots (some of us) when we bought “you’re doing the right thing taking a second mortage, it’s just confusion blowing off”. (I’ll call this last incantation IJCBO). “yes I understand you’re not doing well on this level, don’t worry, IJCBO”. Or the MAA “Continue with these good roads good weather letters, IJCBO”. And on and on . . .
So, the datum that confusion “blows off” when you put in order is incomplete as a diagnostic action, as confusion “blows off” also when you put in disorder, something CoS has become a master of. If the confusion and disorder actually disappeared, we wouldn’t have a problem, would we?
Note also that “confusion blowing off” carries this mental charge analogy which, while being possibly elegant or attractive or even poetic in concept, still approaches a mystical view when it pertains to the physical universe, i.e. “I-can-tell-a lot-with-just-one glance” Power. I always was a sucker for this.
I don’t want to come across as anything other than an observer of your post but I personally would strongly recommend taking a good long holiday doing something you really love doing. Go catch a fish, ride a wave, eat good food, have a laugh, get away with friends, whatever. Refresh yourself and then take a deep breath and reread what you just wrote above. The never ending complexity of thought and solutions that go round and round will one day slow down and settle for you now that you are away from the master of introversion – the Church of Scientology.
Keep reading the blogs and sites, there’s all sorts of opinions and experiences out there but these will balance some of the negative stuff you will find http://www.wiseoldgoat.com/papers-scientology/hubbard_vs_nwo2_lost-bridge.html and http://www.friendsoflrh.org/
There’s plenty of books which you appear to have some knowledge of, Marty wrote a heap and Tony Ortega’s site has lots of links as do most sites of this nature. It is interesting to note just how many people are involved with the debriefing of scientology. That organisation makes enemies very easily.
However, it’s very easy to find and concentrate on the negative anti-scientology stuff alone but balancing it all up will grease both side of the thinking gear if you know what I mean. Your own decisions are the only ones that count in this mess but decompressing is something real and it does take a little time to come to terms with what you will discover on your quest for answers regarding involvement with institutional scientology. There’s going to be more than one discovery that will really bite as the level of betrayal is mind boggling. Be glad you’re out.
Cheers
Hi Sortingitout, Welcome & congratulations on coming into the sunlight. After 40 + years since I was SO those here will tell you I’m still finding hidden boxes of Ron’s mess in my mind. For me reading a lot of books from Tony Ortega’s site helps & Mike & this blog really really have been tremendous for me.I love so many here & love reading posts from now dear friends & newcomers.I echo IYawnalot’s post to you.One can get caught up trying to sort out the hamster wheel of Ron’s/COBs Tech when sometimes stepping away & feeling your spirit & mind is good.We all have been hurt in some fashion & here is a safe space to start to heal.Love, Ann.
I enjoyed reading your thoughtful analysis. I have found it is Hubbard’s method of operation to speak in vast generalities and advance those generalities as universal principles. Almost always he fails to explain PRECISELY what he means by giving specific examples. Thus he has a so-called “tech” which consists of a HUGE anthology of generalities and unexamined assumptions such as the notion that “putting in order” causes confusion to blow off. That notion rides on the coattails of the universal experience that you usually have to make a mess to do repairs.
But wait, what does it even mean to “put in order”? I don’t think Hubbard bothered to say what that means. It’s important that he define what that means because that would require a further explanation of how and why “confusion” supposedly “blows off”. When Hubbard can explain what is meant by “putting in order” and how it causes confusion to blow off (not just THAT it blows off) then he begins to demonstrate real knowledge but until then he doesn’t have a real “tech”.
Is it true that “putting in order” causes confusion to blow off? The reason that so-called “principle” can be used to justify all kinds of disastrous outcomes is because it isn’t a principle at all, it’s just an unexamined assumption. And Like all of Hubbard’s unexamined assumptions it sounds highfalutin on the surface but when you try to put it to practical use it falls apart and in my opinion THAT is the cause of the erupting confusion.
Hi Roger,Your post had me thinking about the generalities Ron used constantly, yet as you posted he never gave specific examples as to the why of his pronouncements. After night duty, when I did not have to stand QM & all the course rooms were clean & perfect,I would get my coffee & go thru all Ron’s lectures that I could get my hands on with those gigantic magnetic reel to reel tape machines. No one ever hassled me as long as my stats were up for the week & I did not fall asleep the next day. That is until the GOI got me.So looking back besides that English accent that never quite worked out,I realize I heard many words & much universal applications of all kinds of conditions etc but the glue of why Dianetics & Scientology operated the way they did,why The Tech worked the way it did I never found the answer. But I think Ron had the ability to literally lull my mind into a state of comfort & security that really was not there at all.On some other posts it was said that he,I think Brian posted this idea, that Ron got those in the SO to look on him as a surrogate father, the head of his religion & therefore my protector also. From my viewpoint now the actual reality of his life was so very contrary to the image he flashed onto my being. And he was very very good at this. The rough mean side was always there but I got so caught up in his web of intention & persuasion,I could not see the “unexamined assumptions” as you posted. And when practicality creeps in then those concepts I thought were so true & incredible start to crumble. Some might ask why did I join the SO.It wasn’t so much Dianetics although that was a big pull,I think it was more the sense of joining a Team that seemed to hold answers to life questions I had never found any where else. And the love missiles were extremely effective. Now I look & see how in the dark I was & how much a slave to this man & the Tech I became.I still have bits & pieces floating around I am working out & your posts are always so helpful.Thank you always.Love Ann.
Hi Roger Hornaday,
Yes I see what you mean. When taking it apart, I can see where it can work and where it does not. Context, context will always put a dent into A=A. The self-gratifying “breakthrough” of higher level mystical origin can lead one to lose sight of real knowledge and not bother with the painstaking steps of methodical research. Like many of the other “breakthroughs”. His larger than life momentum just bowled over one’s sense of reason. I realized not that long ago why it took me so much time to go through courses: I constantly tried to make sense of absolutisms and contradictions that itched at my sense of reason looking for MUs, going back over and over the material searching for what I did not get, and then giving up thinking ” oh it’s probably because I am too aberrrated to see what he means, I’ll probably get it when I get up the Bridge”.
Thanks Mike and Regraded Being – for helping me get off all that Bypassed charge that I bought in $ciendollatry. There is nothing like some good old fashion truth to help with any Scientological confusion implanted in our minds by studying, drilling, living and breathing the Tech.
Awesome work RB and thanks for Keeping SUPPRESSION working.
Bravo, Regraded Being! We appreciate your talent and dedication, and I know that we all look forward to a new Regraded Being each week. Well, everyone except Mr. Provable Bullshit. Thank you!
Hi I Yawnalot,Really perceptive post.I thought Princess Diana was most brave in her minefield campaign.I was afraid she would stir up the honet’s nest & she did.Even though the evil of mines continues, she brought awareness of it to the wider world. Some other other choices in life not so explainable, but then some of mine aren’t either!I like your point about cos being not some benign business model as they have claimed in the past & others have agreed with, but a living breathing evil cult bent on beating it’s own way through this world no matter what the costs in lives broken families broken bank accounts broken hearts…Always Ann.
Hi Mike,This is off topic today but I found it interesting. There is much chatter about TC leaving the cos.Being skeptical about that I decided to go to The Underground Bunker to see what Tony had about this.A very good article basically saying TC is more attached to David & cos than ever.He may see Suri because he is between marketing & movie making now,but his obsession with all things David etc remains steadfast.Time may tell but I feel he would be taking a much stronger stance against cos from a safe distance if he had left.Cos always hates hates to lose the big $ fish Always Ann.
Hi Regraded Being, Another powerful & heartrending post.I can see from it what happens to SO women as they approach turning 60 & have dedicated their entire life to Ron/COB & are so dried up in body & soul that they get great pleasure from telling young SOers to get abortions & even the death of a SOer does not bother them one bit! Terrible but True.May you have a great 4th,never did anything about it in the SO but now I celebrate not only for the USAs birthday but it means so much more to me to be OUT! Always Ann.
Yes Ann. The mind set and behaviour of long term scientologist staff members is a tragic thing. Your words go along way in describing the despicable end result of a regime gone awfully wrong. Middled aged to elderly women who’ve sacrificed motherhood and their entire active lives and all that that entails for a cause that was hijacked by the insane. Wether scientology works or not is beside the point. The culture the technology so developed turned around and attacked its own members. The justifications the masters of it use are sugar coating the knowingly grievous crimes with “saving mankind.” They do it both for the money and power to deny freedom for others, even themselves in the long run (miscavge has to hide now). It is so far removed from open civilised behaviour that organised scientology has joined the ranks of radical political subterfuge in its results. It’s one sick organisation. Hubbard did say something interesting in 60s though, he mentioned the US Govt has ceased trying to destroy Scientology and now wishes to gain control of it. And why not indeed, mind control is a lucrative pursuit and who cares if it once worked to free people, that is easy to pervert. With miscavige at its helm he substitutes as a henchman of sorts, and thus far untouchable by both legal and political means. The religious angle has been fine tuned to remarkable results. Is that really just the devil’s luck? I’m suspecting the fact the global existence of scientology orgs have be allowed if not encouraged to develop and remain. It’s noxious existence alone for so long proves it benefits or pleases some powerful entities somewhere. Even France with it’s prosecution of it for fraud still allows the org to exist.
But the tragic end result of wasted lives is no where better demonstrated than with the girls who became women and denied motherhood. Other religions do it too, and look at the sexual perversion and child abuse of those organisations now coming to light.
Scientology represents a bit more than just a wacky religion gone nutty. It deals with the very essence of repression. That’s where the power is…
And one thing further. If miscavige suddenly saw the error of his ways and reverted to “standard tech and policy” as originally written prior to 1978, how long do you think those court cases against it would lie in waiting unresolved?
I think that would be the quickest way to dispose of organised scientology once and for all.
Excuse me, I need to go get some more opium for my pipe… see ya.
HiIYawnalot,I think a lot of still ins stole your opium & your pipe! Thank you for your post.Reading it I was speculating that mind control has always been used throughout time to amass power & keep those under the controller not aware of their own power.Ron’s mind certainly jumped all over the place, but his comment in the 60s was not entirely off base.Like his comment I’m not quoting exactly here ” if you want to make a lot of $ start a religion.” I recall the CIA doing remote viewing with the late Ingo
Swan.I would think the black arm of the U.S. Gov & others want to use all they can gather for whatever purpose suits them.Even though OT levels hurt a lot of public & staff, some aspect of Ron’s Tech certainly held me & others under his sway.I recall writing “him” on SO#1 & whoever wrote me back all those years replyed to my question as to why I was let in the SO after only reading Dianetics, ” because you are at cause over matter energy space & time. You are a SO member”very powerful stuff for a just 22 year old.Always Ann.
And that begs to question, aside from Miscavige, who/what has that power to repress and why would they prefer the COS still exists? Who or what are these powerful entities that the COS pleases or benefits? And in what way does the COS benefit and please these entities? Maybe the COS is just another avenue for these entities to repress the masses as they can’t do it all themselves. Maybe LRH was right in saying the Gov’t wants to take over Scn not get rid of it.
Merrel Vanier went so far as to suggest (in his book) that Miscavige is nothing more than a government plant. I would say these entities use abortions and sexual perversion as one of their most dirty tricks in their playbook of repression and hate. There is much more good in the world than bad yet these entities you speak of seem to overcome the odds and keep stirring the pot. A good example of this is the people currently involved in Scn. I would guess a majority of these folks are good people who want to help but yet that very willingness to help is what Miscavige uses to pervert Scn into what it is today. Walking over these good people with no concern for their welfare or survival. I would say Miscavige fits in quite nicely with these entities you suggest could exist.
The idea that Miscavige is a government plant is about as credible as the idea that the government is poisoning everyone with “chemtrails” of commercial airliners. There is no reason to believe there is a conspiracy involved in scientology. It is obvious that there are people who buy into the thought system of scientology and it makes a lot of money (perhaps less than it did in the past, but nevertheless, there are plenty of businesses that would LOVE to have the sort of free cash flow that scientology does).
In capitalist societies, scientology has had success. It is no more or less a conspiracy than Microsoft or Amway. Some activities make money selling services. Some sell software. Some sell lightbulbs. Some sell ideas. Scientology is no different than all the rest, it just comes with some added abuse on the side and deception in its packaging.
The reality is that in the free marketplace it will ultimately fail unless it changes. It is not a sustainable business model. Though it is one of the better ones in the field of selling ideas — there are plenty more than have come and gone and are long forgotten — it is shrinking quickly as its methods of keeping its ideas pure have been eroded in the information age.
Hi Mike, Love your post. You have the Inate ability to distill & strain out elements of an argument to it’s purest form.As you stated about cos.I do not think David is a gov plant either.I wish I was less creative & emotional with my brain because I can upset myself more than nesscessary chasing phantom recalls and broken dreams.Sigh that’s the poet writer in me always longing for that magical space wher beauty & love & truth co exist.Thank God it was not to be the SO forever.Always Ann.
This thread might be cold, but I said, miscavige is sort of like acting as a henchman, not that he is in the employ or guidance of someone higher. The subjunctive is what this game is all about I suppose.
I’ve been military and it’s something I’m not proud of as part of my experience dealt with the deadly game of bobby traps and mine warfare. Princess Diana pioneered the awareness of the lethal clean operation to rid the world of existing devices and to limit their future deployment (oh yeah and those reptilian military commanders listened hey?). People are still being killed and maimed by WW2 devices let alone what happening in the hills of Afghanistan or the jungles of SE Asia. One device so dreamed up was approx 2oz, undetectable by mine sweepers and could be dropped by helicopters or thrown about by ground troops. It worked on a click clack type of action, step on it or straighten it and bingo there goes your hands or foot. Children are the most common victims. Our side (the good guys) deployed countless numbers of them and how in the world do you recover them? You don’t!
I’m saying this because I have come to see first hand the deviousness of what man can get up to and when it comes to subterfuge or misinformation for political means or money, geezers what a mess. I’m very wary of any generality as to the business model concept of explaining away why groups of people do things that result in human atrocities or the opinions of those who don’t have the mental capacity to dream up the most evil and vile concoctions and put them into practice. It takes a special kind of asshole to do wide spreading evil. So special in fact we don’t see them and even vote for them.
Nothing would surprise me concerning the bullshit surrounding scientology but to think such an organisation and technology hasn’t been the subject of scrutiny by the most evil intentioned people on earth is wishful thinking on the level of the Easter Bunny is real. Mind control is the evolution of power, how many criminals that created the global financial crisis for a quick buck have been brought to justice is one comparison of the susceptibility we have as humans have to being ‘led to believe things and make up excuses justifying it.’ Agony is real only to victim so it can be proven.
Comparing Amway or Microsoft with the devastation of human lives committed under the banner of scientology and then relating it to business modelling – what the fuck?!
Wow, sooooo much truth! Dark is the humor with this one-as it should be, given the subject matter. Thank you for another wack of Fleet Admiral Fibbing Fuckwit´s quickly-shriveling marble-sack!
Far too real and accurate. The level of control the clams try to exercise over the clam bed is truly sick. The most controlling and sick behavior is on and between the Sea bOrg. Like the old Soviet KGB, they are a law unto themselves and COB.
I suspect that Niblet is actually happy this week. All of the ‘tom cruise is leaving $cienoland’ stuff kicked out the ‘Let Him Die’ story on Ron Miscavage Sr. That was a very personal attack on the niblet. He is probably grateful to TC for jumping that hand grenade. Ok, not hand grenade, grenades only go off once. The current environment is more like a hailstorm, one that does not stop.
How sad and how true. In Scientology there is theory and practice. In theory you should enhance all your dynamics and be cause over life. In practice there is just misery and delusion.
Jose, you know things are really falling apart for the cult when their written missives contain expletives. But, I guess that’s what uneducated people do….
OSD,
I would say it’s a toss up between
the guardian for life going to prison
and your senior going type 3 screaming
“Everything I try to do to you is happening to myself”
Happy 4 th of July !!!!!
I think you will be able to see it for free shortly Alice.
Yo Dave,
Hey good buddy, howz about givin us a briefing on one of your tirades? You know, start it out with Your usual Counter Intentioned, Cock Sucking, Mother Fucking adjective build ups and then just let it all go and follow it with a scotch chaser.
Yo OSA,
Why don’t one of you bring him a condom cleverly disguised as a cigar. That might help him launch ………… or maybe we can smuggle in a trailer for the new movie based on His Dads book.
What if the poor jerk being pressured by the scientology goons said, “Sorry but I’m not interested in saving mankind or the world. The reason I’m not interested is because I don’t think it can be done. I have seen NOTHING to cause me to believe it can be done and what you’ve shown me only convinces me further that it can’t be done.”
A future Hollywood action film will star Bruce Willis in that role and he will say those words just before he busts out of the room leaving a trail of carnage in his great escape from the compound. It will be entitled, “Vision Impossible”, a friendly dig at another star who is currently unavailable for interviews.
The PR line regarding the Sea Borg is that they’re the equivalent of the Jesuits, a religious order with military discipline. It’s always been a lie, but it’s been thoroughly exposed as one over the past couple of years, when our Jesuit pope has shown by example what a religious leader is supposed to be and what a religious order is supposed to do. The Sea Borg “pope” is simply a vindictive little power-mad piece of flaming shit.
Did any of those Sea Borg who have been sent out on futile body-routing duties in LA get a Severe Reality Adjustment from the wogs they attempted to rope in? They’re not wanted. They’re not needed. They are useless wastes of oxygen in fake Navy uniforms. Here’s a hint: the planet doesn’t want to be cleared, not by you or anyone else.
I’ll put my 12 years Jesuit education against Delphi Academy any day of the week.
Speaking of education, Jesuits oftentimes has two or three Masters or doctorates (real ones, not Sequioa University) from non religious universities.
They are not afraid to hear the opinion of others nor are they afraid to share their own beliefs. Unlike Tommy ‘its highly offensive for you, a non-Scientologist, to speak to me about the sacred teachings of my church with me.’ Davis
Because then I might realize how ridiculous it all sounds…..
Jesuits are the Pope’s intellectual shock troops, as I once heard them described. Comparing them to the Sea Borg is like comparing a Rhodes Scholar to a graduate of ITT Tech school.
I agree with you Chee on the Jesuit education, having my own experience with it. Hubbard wrote that “The Jesuits are dead.” I recall reading that on course one day and thought to myself, No, I don’t think so!
You’re becoming a legend RB. There’s no bent nails with your understanding of the workings of staff scientologists – you hit the nail fair and square every time. Take a bow kiddo…
I don’t care how many times I’ve seen it, every week when I see the opening picture of li’l Davey’s head almost sticking above his desk, I crack up laughing. Just the thought of DLHDM seeing that himself brightens my whole day.
Thanks for the smile Mike!
I made that very same comment to me bride when I logged on. Just so absolutely perfect. He’s physically a small man who is also stunted in spirituality.
Hi Roger Yost, Good to meet you.David was after my SO time, but whenever I see RB’s depiction of him I laugh too.Not because he is short but because he feels he is the Biggest Being Ever & he Owns the Bridge or rather the wreck of the bridge today.Ann.
Did I catch a Princess Bride quote in there Regraded Being?
As always, you hit the Bulls Balls and the bullseye with your art. I had a hard time with the pregnant woman strip (I admit to tears), it blows my mind that still happens, and all of your other topics still occur. Please accept my thanks for what you do.
That Regraded Being, causes an organization a FUSS,
Fuss, fuss…RB likes to draw for US,
His cartoons expose reported HARM,
RB has quite a bit of CHARM,
I really don’t have the gift of RHYME,
True, true most of the TIME,
Enough of that-are there Regs AHEAD,
You know if there are, our wallets will be DEAD,
No more abuses now, I mean IT,
Never happened, completely provable BULLSHIT
My Ode’ to you via inspiration from a classic Princess Bride quote! I hope you enjoy!
The Princess Bride dvd gets dusted off and seen again at least once every year at home. Each time I experience a new level of release and stable case gain. That movie is so much fun on so many levels it should definitely be included on one’s path towards spiritual enlightenment.
No, he’s ruthless about putting security video in on himself. It’s totally provable that he didn’t duck into the washroom with a burner cell phone during the period in question. Whenever that was.
Regraded Being,
Thanks. Your cartoons blow me away!
(psst – I still reckon there’s a way out, but don’t tell anyone 🙂 )
deeply, sadly true
I laughed at the second panel where the guy is telling the pregnant woman that he can’t understand why “you girls never seem to understand how much Dev-T you create with these stupid pregnancies.”
And ‘Who’ is making them pregnant?
Thank you so much for your powerful communications, Regraded Being!
Much love, One Point Won
Hi Bruce,My IPad is having fits today.I spelled your name correctly & it corrected me.Sorry Ann.
When Ron Sr’s book comes out I want both him and Ronnie to do the media together. That would be something.
Lol!! I love you Regraded Being.
Keep reading the blogs and sites, there’s all sorts of opinions and experiences out there but these will balance some of the negative stuff you will find
http://www.wiseoldgoat.com/papers-scientology/hubbard_vs_nwo2_lost-bridge.html and
http://www.friendsoflrh.org/
Love your username. I’m sure I’ll be still Sortingitout for many years to come.
Hello Sortingitout, I wish you well in your journey.
Thanks Pepper. It is definitely a journey.
Made my weekend!
Oh wow, the ever lurking typos strike again – booby traps I should have written and the 2nd last sentence of the second last paragraph – yucky, sorry.
Powerful. Incredibly powerful.
very scary and very funny and very scary again
“Off The COB” Corny Whiskey!! OMG, hilarious!!
How sad and how true. In Scientology there is theory and practice. In theory you should enhance all your dynamics and be cause over life. In practice there is just misery and delusion.
When you think Scientology cannot get any worse
the COB brings things down a few notches more.
I can’t wait ’til DLHDM lets loose with a CICS!!! at a reporter! I would pay a month’s salary to see that.
Yippiekayee, motherf… 😛
Give it up, Sea Borg.
A bowl of condoms in each Sea Org barracks could help prevent a lot of their problems, but if they can’t afford rolls of toilet paper…
…they’ll never be able to afford condoms…
Maybe they could run a ‘Go Fund Me’ ………….condoms for the kukes program!
Sea Org = Salvation Army gone bad.
In my more morose moments, I always laugh about the idea of Salvation Army vs. Sea Orgers. Would make for an interesting army navy game.
The Salvation Army does more for the poor and disadvantaged DAILY than COS has done in its entire existence.
Inconceivable!!!!!
That Regraded Being, causes an organization a FUSS,
Fuss, fuss…RB likes to draw for US,
His cartoons expose reported HARM,
RB has quite a bit of CHARM,
I really don’t have the gift of RHYME,
True, true most of the TIME,
Enough of that-are there Regs AHEAD,
You know if there are, our wallets will be DEAD,
No more abuses now, I mean IT,
Never happened, completely provable BULLSHIT
My Ode’ to you via inspiration from a classic Princess Bride quote! I hope you enjoy!
The Princess Bride dvd gets dusted off and seen again at least once every year at home. Each time I experience a new level of release and stable case gain. That movie is so much fun on so many levels it should definitely be included on one’s path towards spiritual enlightenment.
That’s a lot of truth in five little boxes
“I don’t think provable bullshit means what he thinks it means”
Coffee on the keyboard again!
No, he’s ruthless about putting security video in on himself. It’s totally provable that he didn’t duck into the washroom with a burner cell phone during the period in question. Whenever that was.
Why I left the sea ogre and the Co$ all summed up in one witty, yet tragic cartoon.
R.G. your work is brilliant.
Spot on, as always.
How sad that people live like this. I hope they all have their own Independence Day soon and leave the destructive force of Scientology behind.
Blistering as usual
