No Shame

November 30, 2014 By Mike Rinder 52 Comments

The US Government is despised and derided by scientology, with numerous L. Ron Hubbard writings and lectures mentioning the US Government, many government agencies and even Presidents in less than flattering terms. There are very few positive statements about any person or any part of the US government anywhere in the “scriptures” of scientology. The most consistent vehemence is directed towards the FBI and the IRS.

But then it comes time to pitch how they will help raise money for the IAS, suddenly, Old Glory is fluttering in the breeze with the IAS logo imprinted on top of it. Now they are the greatest people on earth and full supporters of the IAS!

Pity it’s such a bureaucracy that there isn’t anyone in the US Govt who would care. Though it might make a nice exhibit the next time the church tells a court “but look how wonderful we are, we are recognized as a tax exempt religion by the US government.”

It’s also a little strange that the “international” association is appropriating the US flag.

I know for a fact the people that originally granted scientology tax exemption (including to the IAS) would be disturbed by this. The IAS having taken over the church is exactly opposite to what they were assured would NOT be the case.

Everything about this sort of makes you gag in your mouth…

This is the usual end-of-the-year pitch to Scientologists to “save” on their income tax by making tax free donos to CofS. Usually it’s Uncle Sam encouraging the so-called savings. Now it’s a fluttering U.S. flag with IAS crap super imposed over it. If only the IRS would audit these nit wits.

One of the key requirements for a tax exempt organisation is that none of its earnings may inure to any private individual.

It’s not like CoB is taking a few dollars here and there for a new TV or something; the entire Scientology organisation, and how and where it spends its money is totally and utterly dedicated to the benefit of David Miscavige!!!

As with the rest of Scientology, the deception is so great that you can’t see it when you’re inside it.

This piece could have a fascinating (albeit unintended) consequence. Long-timers who are still in view the US government as an enemy. I know of at least a few who’ll recoil at the notion of the US government helping them. Their knee-jerk “knowingness” about the evils of government can’t help but kick in.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of this campaign.

How disgusting to see a group that hates the US government, or any other government in the world, abuse the nations pride. The American flag is an iconic symbol, hard won over many battles. It’s just sick that the IAS prints its logo over that! Puke!

Use of the U.S. Flag in advertising violates the Flag Code and is at the very least a blatant disrespect of flag etiquette. In answer to an FAQ about using it in advertising the answer is “No. Section 8i of the Flag Code reads, “The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever.” The earliest drafts of the Flag Code were in response to the use of the flag in advertisements and on packaging, especially for beer.” http://www.ushistory.org/BETSY/faq.htm

Oh, but Marta, they’re not advertising because they’re not selling anything. They’re simply gathering donations, for a needy cause, from their eager parishioners, Always remember, Scientology is not a business. It’s a religion. Sounds like someone hasn’t Chinese Schooled this stuff for awhile.

The U.S. Government is NOT helping members of the IAS inside or outside the U.S., and contributions to the IAS are NOT tax deductible in other countries unless those countries have granted the IAS tax exemption. What that advertisement is actually saying is: “if you give money to the IAS in the US, we doesn’t have to pay taxes on it, and we can launder your money without anyone in the US government asking questions.”

If I undertsand it, IAS donations are to a charitable body there in the US so people can claim back taxes on it. Not so in other countries. What the US IAS can then do it to donate that money to a “charitable” offshore Scientology Trust and then when it gets there they can do what they like with the money with nobody asking questions. Typically, the Trust can make “loans” to Scientology entities around the world, using liens on their property, and that these loans are not expected to be paid back. Indeed, the loans mysteriously disappear into thin air and nobody knows how the money got spent (or secreted away).

I wonder which genius told these guys the way to motivate your staff is to tell them the church is expanding? Wouldn’t that make the workers think, “great, that’s all taken care of.”

I’d do the opposite. I’d tell my main folks, “we’re dying, we need members or the end is near…” Most people find that more motivating. Not to mention, it’s true.

Of course, I also think the clergy (sea org) are the most valuable asset in Scn. But I’m a manager in (indoctrinated by) a wog business that is actually growing, so there is that… 🙂

        DISCONNECT THE SCIENTOLOGY
        HANIA MRKOS
        THREE DISCONNECTION CLOSE!
        upload-in-fb-broken-heart

Besides me to have your heart broken for the DISCONNECT my son Flavio, over Jamie, my son’s wife Titian, to have your heart broken for the DISCONNECT his father, there is also our consuocero Hania Mrkos to have your heart broken since recently his daughter Jelena, wife of my son Flavio, brutally disconnected from him.

Three families so closely related to each other, who have suffered this barbaric practice.

But this means that the terminals of these three families are the brave people who not only do not let themselves be intimidated, bend or blackmail by now very well known shady tactics of OSA, but also compared the subsequent revenge of the Office of Special Affairs, very “Special” in fact ‘ attack , discredit , defame dissidents who have not retreated even under their abuse. It ‘really required a high level of personal integrity on the part of a parent to pursue what feels right, ie not give more support to the “Church” of Miscavige, despite the risk that their child can disconnect from him.

Recently, therefore, as I said, even our daughter Jelena Mrkos Lugli , wife of Flavio, disconnected from his father.

        The reason?

The father of Jelena, Hania Mrkos has simply expressed his disappointment on the GAT II and the opposition to return the materials of its Group / Mission to iHELP seen that, having paid them considered it his property.

Of course this has sparked an uproar in Sect where, precisely because of its sectarian, must conform fully to the only authority will, though illogical, unnatural and perverted what was required.

And so the Scientology sect has claimed more victims, not only Hania so that it can no longer see and hear her daughter, but also because being Jelena was forced to bow to this cruel practice, came to lose its stable datum: its father.

Now Flavio and Jelena can shake hands having the same inhuman conditions: under the will of David Miscavige perpetrated by OSA, both have denied their parents after having first denied LRH and his Technology Standard for follow self- elettosi “Supreme Leader”, the dictator of Scientology.

        FLAVIO JELENA
        FLAVIO JELENA

Naturally OSA has used all of their lowly “tactics” to rewind Hania, including the one to do it from contact with his daughter Jelena blackmail that if if he had not conformed strictly as required by the sect, she would have disconnected from him . This would be the threat, blackmail and revenge in inhumane attempt to bend this parent.

But apparently the threat and blackmail did not work on Hania whom he maintained his point of view in spite of everything; at that point then took over revenge and punishment: the DISCONNECT!

Our warmest congratulations go to Hania for his courage, his personal integrity and for not intimidated and deviate from the blackmail of OSA, thus maintaining their point of view.

Hania was a pioneer of Scientology in Switzerland and the Czech Republic as well as an opinion leader for nearly forty years, and this course will have a significant impact in the field about his escape from the sect.

Who knows how many will follow him!

So far as I can understand Italian he refused to send back the old materials of a Mission when Gat2 arrived and insisted on that he had paid for them and will not send them back. I think they are talking about a mission in Czechia. In consequence his daughter that is a FSO staff disconnected from him.

    Birds of a feather…
If there’s anyone home at all in the US Govt. that would give a crap about what $cientology does I think it would probably align with: “gee, how do they get people to hand over so much money for nothing in exchange? Pretty remarkable scam they have there.” (The US legal system has a tendency to serve & protect anyone who can afford it).
History doesn’t show all that many favourable humanitarian outcomes for the consequences of bureaucratic thinking. Rulers, monarchies, politicians, bankers and power brokers haven’t really cared about borders or other peoples lives & loyalties since time immemorial. It use to be mechanical invasions with weapons etc. Now it’s done just as or more effectively from behind a keyboard or while wearing a $2k suit.
The hypocritical actions of miscavige and his ilk surely can’t be too much of a surprise. It just goes to show the denigration down to the type of arrogance and total disregard for common decency any despot descends into. The fact their PR runs automatically and without remorse with the most ridiculous and treasonable themes stands as testament to just how criminal they are.
Enforced justice or revolution, use of the courts and other opposing techniques with any luck will take them out quickly without too much further damage until the next “wonder boy” with a bottle of snake oil appears on the scene.
When good men do nothing… you know what I mean.

Yes, both the church of Scientology and the IAs are organized religious scams, riding on the back of the US government negligence and/or probably lack of resources to prosecute these assholes.

Unfortunately scientologists are not the only ones fighting religious fraud. I was looking at the Trinity Foundation website, this organization seems to be engaged in exposing scam and fraud in religion, it might be a resource to anyone trying to even up the playing field with Scientology

I don’t see 1993 as a “turning point” as stats have been down trending since. It did really mark a turning point where the church realized it could have free money and not have to deliver good service. That seems to have expanded into not delivering much of anything useful at all. And lies to keep their scams going. The product is “free money”. the sub- products are “lies, lies, lies”.

Thank you Mike. Fascinating, first: the little pamphlet states the ‘war’ was won over in ’93 etc. Scientology seems to be constantly at war with someone or something, always; being this the psychs, the IRS, the apostates on the fringes of Internet, the 4th dynamic suppression and on, and on.

If this game of “having an enemy” would have not been promoted, scientology would have no reason to ‘be helped’ (with money or otherwise).

Then, winning tax exception (per the pamphlet) was “the turning point for out religion”. Really?

For every religion in the world turning points could have been when more people joined it, or when it spread throughout India-China-Japan, or when Universities were established by some monks…but, for Scientology, the turning point is when it “won tax exemption” in order to amass money for its leaders, their comforts, abuses, scams, and we can go on forever.

Basically, the turning point occurred when criminal individuals inside the ‘religion’ lied to the USA Government…

You can see it it DM’s face. For every smiley victory that brings hope that this social pariah is being accurately defined by the public, an opposite reaction occurs in DM’s inner world. This is registering on his face.

Inevitably, ugliness becomes the facial expression for people who create harm for other’s.

I had a realization the other day of a very simple definition of karma “that which is created must be experienced.”

Every ugly human atrocity perpetrated by a person is created by them. Where does that ugliness go? It goes as a destructive force to those it is focused on, and it remains within the emotional and mental field of the perp. It exists as a mental impression with all the quality of the energy that we create. It does not go away.

This built up energy of creating harmful experiences on others becomes an expression in the muscles of the face, the smile becomes false, the words become mechanical, as persons they become repulsive.

Ultimately the energy is held within as a circumstantial magnet that will bring to that person to the very experience they are creating. The very actions they created and did.

Nothing synthetic or mystical about the truth or karma. It is how we are instructed before we aquire wisdom. You cause harm! – you must be harmed in order to learn the pain you created. In learning that pain the soul says,”geeze, hurting people is not good, see how much pain I feel.” It’s wisdom instruction for dummies.

So now law suites are boomeranging back towards Scientology like never before.

Every broken family, every broken heart, every tear of a mother or father for their children, every smokescreen of PR marketed spiritual advancement, every cleaned out savings and bank account, every church sanctioned punishment for thinking, speaking and living free – is the power of the boomerange affect that is headed straight to the doorstep of Scientology’s leadership.

I’ll bet DM wishes karma is synthetic. Calling karma synthetic is a sleazy philosophic device to justify immorality. It says “there is no cosmic imperative” inherent in the fabric of the universe that actions created have consequences.

OT 8, the highest Scientology process implies that when you are “free” conscience and consequence/karma, are a subjective reality that can be changed by not agreeing with it.

Ha, cause and effect is an opinion! 2015 will be the year of buying popcorn and watching the last phases.

Society itself, has a deep need to see Scientology get its deserved karma.

No amount of PR can help now. The only thing they can do is tighten the blindfolds on those who still believe. How can that be a plan?
