Quotes from Source

May 7, 2016 By Mike Rinder 172 Comments

Blahblah

Over the years, David Miscavige has gradually been positioning himself as not only the “anointed” one, but as the actual successor to L. Ron Hubbard in every way.

He is not only the “Finder of Lost Tech” and the originator of “Command Intention” he is now mandatory to “acknowledge” in all “success stories.” If you fail to recognize and thank “COB” it is treated as a bad indicator that you are disaffected or perhaps a plant.  They sell the water and whatever else that “COB uses” at Flag like it is the American Dental Association seal of approval on your toothpaste.

And now, the final step. “COB quotes.” For decades “LRH quotes” have been a “thing” in scientology. The old saying is “what would Ron do?” and that is supposed to resolve all problems. Now we have “COB quotes” being circulated as if they are infinite wisdom. Amazing. 10 years ago there isn’t a scientologist anywhere who would have ever considered scientology would be promoting anyone else’s quotes than L. Ron Hubbard.

But here you have it in black and grey. It appears they even paid to have it run in “World Religion News.”

The transformation is complete. Next step for Miscavige is to have to “move off the lines” (when things got too hot, Hubbard disappeared and went into hiding) to “finish compiling the OT levels into issuable form” as he cannot get the job done when distracted by lawsuits and endless negative publicity.

The sheeple, who would assert how “on-Source” they are have been so hypnotized and blinded they would not even notice. Amazing.

With Captain Miscavige redefining himself as ‘source’, it appears that his toxic personality has taken over completely what’s been of any rationality. We can now expect him losing touch with reality alltogether.

I now have my pre-ordered copy of “Ruthless, Scientology, My Son David Miscavige, and Me” thanks to the link provided in the email letter, copied in the Underground Bunker, from Johnson solicitors to the publishers in the UK on behalf of David Miscavige. without their link I would not have known how I could pre-order the book and to them I am thankful. I look forward to reading an insight into how David Miscavige became the man he is.

A quote from $camology that makes (even if it’s crap and and appears to be written by a 8 year old child) sense? I had to look twice to make sure it was true. All it proved was that Demento is a imagination and intellectual free booze soaked zone.

Over the years, on a side note, I have become more and more convinced that Demento is a closet gay and nothing I have seen dissuades me from continuing that feeling. He’s in love with the clueless one (you know, the one who does impossible missions).

Um… With the exception of grammar?

And printing that poor attempt at intelligible verbiage next to a picture of your best Alfred E. Newman impression?

Man… David’s circle of “friends” really must be getting smaller and smaller.

DM has scrambled the tech into unrecognizable gobbledygook. The ultimate is of course having OT VIIIs go back to Objectives. If only these OTs understood that the purpose of Objectives is so the auditor can see whether the pc is complying to the auditing commands and ensure the command is done. Subjective (think) processes are not to be done until it is clear a pc is consistently executing the auditors commands. So not only are these OTs being checked for compliance after all they’ve successfully completed, they are expected to have cognitions/realizations/wins that show case gain. Theoretically they are being shoved back into their erased banks OR their banks survived and even beefed up during all that auditing or the whole thing is an endless circular mind fuck.

I actually just shuddered at your excellent explanation of the necessity for Objectives Processing, Knather. I’m grateful that something – back in the day I wasn’t sure what it was, some instinct boiling up in me, something – made me stubbornly refuse to redo my Objectives. I would NOT be persuaded, and every approach was tried on me and yet I wouldn’t give in. I didn’t know why but I did somehow simply know that I did not need to redo this auditing action. Angel over my shoulder, whatever. As for those who have agreed and are redoing, God help them while they’re getting “shoved back into their erased banks”. (Shuddering again.) Thank you for articulating beautifully what I “knew” but couldn’t say!

Intention of objectives is to bring you orientated into present time .. later in the work of Hubbard he described present time .. today it is described as the actual moment .. also now .. but if you go fixed into the now .. you would be crazy, stupid, an idiot ..

If you read and hear Hubbard then you should know that the reactive mind is able to put everything into present time .. activates it now as an actual thing .. although not really there .. signed as aberration .. called your bank ..

If you are getting fixed into present time .. something which everybody is doing second by second .. millisecond by millisecond .. you cannot have a win .. impossibe, because you have done it all the time ..

Basically is present time the time span you decide as present time .. if you expand the time span of present time .. you can have wins .. which is the basic goal of objectives ..

So auditing can work .. an OT VIII should be able (my thinking) to put whatever he want into present time .. so he has not to be orientated in present time .. because he makes present time ..

If someone has made the objectives correct, it would never never neccessary to redo it, which means you cannot have the same cognition twice .. today is said you should be orientated in present time .. but this is crazy .. you are always orientated this way .. your ability and responsibilty grows up as more present time you have ..

As I said somewhere .. God’s present time is maybe all times in a millisecond ..

… He [Sea Org Captain David Misacavige] is not only the “Finder of Lost Tech” and the originator of “Command Intention” he is now mandatory to “acknowledge” in all “success stories.” …

No he’s not. That would be L Ron Hubbard. There is any amount of evidence to prove this. One could, for example, note that the very first item in the “Code Of A [Sea Org] Petty Officer” is “uphold command intention”. In terms of generating cash, there’s 440 ED 146 INT 20 Jul 71 THE BEGINNING AND MAINTAINING OF A BOOM wherein “Command Intention” appears as a separate heading under which L Ron Hubbard makes it clear he is referring to booming “GI”. Then there’s L Ron Hubbard’s definition of the Flag Representative Network which states, among other things, “the purpose of this network is to safeguard that those actions necessary to the prosperity of an area or org are implemented and continued … [and if prosperity is declining, the Network is to locate] … the why and/or the who that is slowing command intention …” There are any number of further references which date back to L Ron Hubbard’s time.

In 2009, Marty Rathburn made an argument that “command intention” had become usurped by Sea Org Captain David Miscavige. Basically, the argument was linked to L Ron Hubbard’s instructions with regard to propaganda by redefinition of words. Marty asserted that “Command Intention” had previously been defined as L Ron Hubbard’s intention and that Miscavige had redefined the term to now mean “DM’s intention”. Perhaps this is what you are referring to now but, rest assured, David Miscavige is not the originator of the term.

Just once I would like to see a journalist ask something like:

“You state that Scientology works 100% of the time, that it is an exact science. Yet, here we have Ron Miscavige Sr, who had been practicing Scientology for over 40 years, and by your own statements he is incompetent, lazy, horrible person. If those statements are true, clearly Scientology did not work. Both of these claims cannot be true.

    How do you explain that?”

    (Uncomfortable pause…)

Miscavige launches himself across the table and starts strangling the journalist. “Here’s how Scientology works, you dumb fuck!” he yells.

“Help! Help!” squawks the journalist. To his surprise and relief, the Clearwater chief of police enters the room, pulls off Miscavige and puts handcuffs on … the journalist.

“Shall I arrest him without charge and put him in the newly created Florida State RPF, Sir?” he asks obsequiously.

“Of course, you asshole. Until further orders come through” says Miscavige, dusting himself off. “Now get me the president, you CICS!”

The President of the USA enters the room and salutes. “Media entheta confronted and shattered … DONE!”

“Call me Sir, loser! You! Other loser!”

“Yes Sir?” says the chief cop.

“Put this CICS in the United States Hole!”

“Yes Sir!” says the chief cop.

“Oh well”, thinks the POTUS. “I guess I pulled it in.”

Miscavige grabs the journalist by the collar and pulls him close so their noses are touching.
“It looks like Scientology DOES WORK, dumb fuck!”

The blind leading the blind has taken on monumental assertions around Miscavige. Up to this point their basic truth has always been condensed into money for the dwarf, now it’s just how dumb & dumber can we get, their measurement scale apparently has no bottom. Just being stupid is now a very expensive luxury to a Scientologist and is the silent motif and attainment goal for their elite.
All in all at the end of the day, anyone that follows and actually believes anything Miscavige says requires a “special needs” approach to their relationship to the term, sanity.

DM has been methodically executing historical revisionism of the church for years. This is evidenced by the total eradication from all records of many former founding SCNs including MSH and virtually the entire Hubbard family.

It became apparent to me years ago that DM was moving in the direction of replacing LRH as source & this was even more evident to me when I joined staff. In Joburg org, it was compulsory for all staff to watch DM’s 2003 briefing to staff when Joburg opened it’s Ideal Org. I spotted this as a major red flag at the time.

Despite LRH stating in KSW “number one is done” (having the correct technology), DM stated the same thing when he revealed the basics/GAT1 and other releases. This did not go unnoticed by me and a couple of others.

I remember being told that in order to handle difficult public while trying to confirm them for an event, one of the handlings was to tell them that non-attendance was viewed as “an insult to David Miscavige”.

Yep, he’s definitely the new “source”.

DM became Source officially with GAT 2. He’s now playing a waiting game. He’s just waiting for the Hubbard die-hards to leave or die off. At that point, he can officially be acknowledged as Source. Of course, his problem is that he’s impatient. He can’t wait for the Hubbard die-hards to die off or leave. That’s going to cost him.

So what next? He’s going to have to come up with an OTIX and OTX. But he still has to sell them as legitimately Hubbard. So it’s time, like a lot of the Tech experts say, to pull stuff out of Creation of Human Ability and the mid-fifties lectures and turn them into an OT level. That buys him the time he needs for his waiting game. OTXI will all be from the New Source, and no one who’s left will complain.

As long as we are quoting people:

“David had closely aligned himself with L. Ron Hubbard. When LRH died, some people thought that Hubbard had appointed David as his successor, which I am certain is not true. Here is why I think so: Throughout his life, Hubbard wrote down nearly everything in longhand, including the vast majority of the thousands of church policies and technical bulletins he wrote. He even wrote whole books in longhand. He recorded thousands of public lectures and thousands more briefings of executives. He kept a small cassette recorder next to his bed in case an idea came to him in the middle of the night. Yet he said not a word about arguably the most important decision of his life—who should carry on his life’s work. My opinion is that Hubbard left no plan for succession. Here was a man who wrote everything down. He couldn’t have scrawled a note on his deathbed that said, “I hereby appoint David Miscavige as my successor”

It’s either going to be a bestseller or (and I wouldn’t be in the least surprised) $camology is trying to buy every copy, no doubt under orders, and destroying them. I have always thought Miscavige would model Ron’s end of life issues.

In Scientology, there is no universal ethic except “the greater good” which is no universal ethic at all.

The “greater good” in authoritative regimes, like Mao and Hitler, really means promoting their ideology and destroying those opposed to it.

As a result of continuous harm done to people, Ron and now Dave, must avoid like death itself, the karmic results of their conscious deception by going into hiding.

It is interesting “hiding” is down near or at the bottom of the tone scale. Yet these two men always hide from the cold light of day.

It is interesting that Ron decried electro shock, yet consciously wished for it at the end of life.

Because Scientology has no Dharmic moral, the Scientologist has no guide line for moral behavior. This in essence is ignorance of consequences.

Because Ron only worshiped the individuate ego will, he never knew that his actions would have a causal relation to his end of life issues.

Ron, in Scientology terms, was Type 3 at the end of life, wishing upon himself the very electro shock he warred against his whole life. Can anyone say KARMA!

This is Dave’s ending as well.

The karmic boomerang of all harm done to families, all the betrayals, all the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and all the deceptions and lies have a consequence.

And because Scientolgy is “not interested in wog morality” they deny any cosmic standard of decency that instructs us to leading a harmonious life.

L Ron Hubbard needed Visteral injected in the but to quell his madness. A madness that he created by all the harm he created.

David Miscavige will have a similar end. Especially made for him. Tailor made by his own actions against common laws of decency.

This is the dangers of Scientology: considering karma part of some implant or theedy weedy Christian moral.

The justification of and actual harming of critics will continually build up a karmic boomeranging force that will bring David Miscavige to Type 3 end of life issue.

David may have enough money to avoid and hide from Society’s legal justice.

But no amount of money can hide him the the inscrutable laws of nature; karma.

In a hidden by the wayside street, in his hidden mobile home, LRH came face to face with the law of karma he so arrogantly denied; check mate.

      To OSA onlookers:

You have been duped. Deny what I am saying at your own peril. You may not get what I am saying now because your learned behavior is that I am an SP.

But know this: there will be a time you will remember my words. Their are consequences to breaking common laws of decency.

These laws do not give a rats ass if you agree or understand them. These laws are impersonal, just like the laws of gravity.

You may feel and think you are above these laws because all “truth” is a personal consideration.

I would suggest that if you jump out a window, the laws of gravity will not give a shit about your opinions and considerations.

Break these laws and they will break you.

As I understood it the purpose of Scientology was to de traumatise people using workable mental processes. The morality was the greatest good for the greatest number of people not just the greatest good. Perhaps Ron to some degree and Miscavige infinitely more so more so, confused workability with authoritarianism. All tyrants have this problem. Mahatma Gandhi said “When I despair, I remember that all through history the ways of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants, and murderers, and for a time they can seem invincible, but in the end they always fall. Think of it–always.”

And to think I had just taken a toke of some very nice Indica while sipping a light Pinot Noir out on my deck. Honest to your God, I try to never, ever take living at the beach for granted. It’s always a great day when you live by any beach. And, Sneaky? Us Old Surfer Dudes can surprise you every now and again! That is…when our arthritis ain’t acting up. There a song that’s used for ads that I think is great. The lyrics are: I’ve been a poor man and I’ve been a king,
I’ve had the world and my life on a string,
I’ve been down so many roads, but I’m so far from done,
you don’t know, there’s so much to live for
La la la la la la la la what a day to be alive!

All of us who are out, celebrate like mad! My home will be your home when the time comes. And yes, what a day to be alive!

Debbie’s New Year’s email, along with the “letter from Garcia” are two must-read items that every Scientologist should read in their entirety.

The Church depends on limiting what people read and hear about the organization in order to maintain loyalty and control. But an intelligent person should read and listen to and consider everything available and evaluate it personally, to aid them in deciding what is best for them. If one only has partial or incomplete information, how is one supposed to make an intelligent choice? This is really a big way that the Church maintains control of people, by limiting information.

Many posts today are getting my brain more engaged. Thinking about your list, I’d probably want to add quotes by Warren Jeffs, the current leader (in prison) of the FLDS (fundamentalist polygamous Mormon sect) to this bunch of folks that you named. He’s said some amazingly ridiculous things, yet his followers blindly, mindlessly obey. The whole subject of crowd mentality and loyalty to corrupt leaders is a fascinating one.

David is as degraded as his followers. He needs to adjust his blah, blah to things that LRH said in the past, maybe change one or two words, but LRH’s concept after all and, then, promote them as his own.

However, he and his blind followers missed the point that miscavige wouldn’t have crated a .000001% of words, far les technology, on his own.

He pretends to be someone that is not and lying to oneself is worse than accepting adoration from a bunch of blind, indoctrinated, and in terror human beings.

Willie aka Good Old Boy your post reminded me of something about LRH and his creation of Scientology that I read somewhere: apparently the theory went that due to his Aleister Crowley connection LRH had some black magic influenced type ideas infused in his Scientology so his “thetans” were actually “satans” said with a lisp, the cross symbol with a sideways “x” was the smybol of a “double cross” and his O.T. levels were “Obedience Training” each one to further instill belief in the unbelievable and cement allegiance to him, and the O.T. VII level was where people were supposed to be so well trained that they self-trained themselves every day to stay obedient, that’s why they stay on that level for years, because after one reaches OT VIII, there is nothing more and they have to be well trained to remain in once they see that’s it, plus the many years on 7 puts off the inevitable, so that they keep paying. I thought the “Obedience Training” meaning of O.T. was pretty interesting, worth a thought or two, although any Scientologist would probably be outraged to hear of that theory, unable to entertain the thought that they were being trained to be obedient, or that they were reinforcing this on themselves at level 7. eh… One of my favorite quotes is: “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” – Aristotle

Interesting comments, T.J. In my latter years of being Clueless In The Cult, I did note how unquestioningly obedient the upper OTs seemed to be, although I put that down to the superiority of their awareness and wisdom due to being on OT V and above. Love the Aristotle quote btw.

          That’s very good TJ!
It always strikes me as ridiculous that not all that many people can see the elephant packing freshly roasted coffee in the middle of the room. NOTs and everything about it, its derivatives, set ups ad nauseum etc have been invented, packaged, advertised and endorsed by the Church of $cientology since the early 80s and with Hubbard nowhere to be seen. Oh, a mountain of stuff emerged with his signature (typed) on it but the spots of the leopard have been visible for some time surrounding Miscavige, his RTC and his influence and intentions for the lives of others. He’s one evil MF! The whole packaged band of OT levels sold and “delivered” since the 80s is his re-branded concoction and I’ve done it plus I’ve never met anyone who’s ever been happy with it.His GATs killed everything else off as well. Hubbard’s been dead for decades anyway.
Anyone here vouch for the OT levels the Cof$ delivers? I sure don’t.
It’s a fucked up trap to get you introverted and keep you that way. They were never designed to free you, they were designed to do you in while extracting every last cent you’ll ever have or can ever borrow.

Aquamarine, please don’t beat yourself up for it. 🙂 The important thing is you are out now, and not under that mind-set anymore. Look back and see and understand, but don’t feel soooo bad about it. Don’t we all make mistakes in life, do things that turned out to not be the best choices, and feel foolish at ways we acted or things we said or did? I know I do! Every day, lol. :-p Sure we regret, we see our errors, but’s It’s ok to forgive yourself, we are only human after all, and who you are today and your actions today are what is important and real… oh darn, blame O.S.D. for this – his thoughtful “post of the day” got me all worked up. TJ and Aquamarine: ” Don’t we all make mistakes in life, do things that turned out to not be the best choices, and feel foolish at ways we acted or things we said or did?” That is called living life, learning, improving. Life is not something to be lived “perfectly”, whatever that is. I still cherish what was good for me about scn, including my beloved wife. Thirty eight years and counting!

Yes, The Tiny One. We used to have to do drills at Gold, all 450 of us staff at a muster, where we’d “fall out” of our muster formation and mill around. Someone would pretend to be Mi$cavige and start moving through the crowd walking at his typical brisk pace. You had to “be aware” of where he was in the crowd at all times and make sure you did not get in his way, slow him down in the slightest or appear rude if he passed by you. True story.

This issue with the quotes has been going on for a while. I first noticed it about 5 years ago when I received a piece of promo from Int which had a quote, but contained no reference or signature. I wrote it up to the RTC rep at my AO. The next occurrence was a ludicrous quote and in tiny print at the bottom attributed it to the Int Landlord. Again I wrote a report. Nowadays it seems they’ll quote anybody – as long as it brings in the dosh.

‘I write all this to make what I think is the central point of my story: there is a world of difference between what I found workable in the actual philosophy of Scientology and how David has twisted it to his own ends. How did it come to this? How did a young boy who was an affectionate, happy, bright kid with a great sense of humor and a desire to help others grow into a man who surrounds himself only with people who suck up to him and lives a lavish lifestyle while those who work for him live no better than medieval serfs? What is the catalyst for such an unfortunate transformation?

I have concluded that it is the acquisition of power. Some who come into positions of power may be able to remain whole and true to themselves, but my son David has demonstrated beyond doubt that he is not one of them.’

Amazing they are so stupid and hateful they would admit that.
My frineds brought that up after they watched 20/20 on ABC.

They felt Monique “rock slammer” Dingaling Yingling – made Scientology look evil, cold and heartless. IT IS!

Thanking COB? May the foot bullets continue!

Back in the good ole days I clearly recall people complaining about BTB’s/BPL’s or staring at the initials at the bottom of the HCOB’s/PL’s or complaining that their “Letter from LRH” wasn’t a real letter from LRH.

The Scieno’s may be brainwashed but they’re not always stupid and some have a very strong need for authenticity. LRH was source, period.

Forcing folks to show reverence is bad juju. Even as a totally indoctrinated Scieno, I thought the hip hipping or long term clapping for LRH was just stupid. It was fake and non-spontaneous. IMHO forced respect or forcing acknowledgment eventually generates RESENTMENT, which will push people further away.

DM is starting to look like a hero.
