We would NEVER photoshop a picture of our Dear Leader (unless we planned to use it somewhere).
Now would we overstate the attendance at one of these events… (every scientologist is so ethical ad capable they count for at least 3 normal persons).
And you can rely on the FACT that 57 new public just walked into the org on Monday, because we said it.
But the really good news is that there will be no end to the circling vultures — because you don’t get to actually work on making Sydney succeed, we have already started sucking your blood for Auckland.
And once the “big” contingents from Melbourne and Perth and Auckland have left, we WON”T show you a new photo of the “packed” Academy full of people from those other cities and will NOT disclose to you how many “public are on lines” (as if 80 is some spectacular feat) nor will we ever be announcing how many “new public arrived in the org on one day.”
The fun and games are over ladies and gentlemen, back to the salt mines to fund another ideal building. It should be ready for its grand opening in about 2019.
But then there is this. We have an “ideal org” but we need you to donate more money so we can “get out of NE”…. It’s worked so well in all those other dead ideal orgs, that we are going to do it here too. So, hand over more money. Because our ‘ideal org” doesn’t do things the way the Ideal Org Policy Letter says with each Division functioning in coordination and the income of the organization being used to do its promotion, we do it the easy way. Get you to give us more money with a promise that this is what we are going to do…
I rather like the first set of photos titled ” The view Of sydney Ideal Org”, becuase that is exactly how it is going to look from now on.
Wonderful furniture, superb decoration, magnificent interiors, er no staff but worse no students or PC’s “booh hooh sniff sniff.
It must be wonderful to go up on stage and let the entire Scn world see what a bloody mug you are and thanking God they did’t have to cough up LOL!
Old School says
Anyone notice that the 2 pics below COB show the same lady, in TWO different outfits supposedly at the same event? (front in both pics)
At least they have a mark 8 ‘Easy-Bake’ in the audition room.(in blue? I thought that they were all silver.)
And I see that Sydney has a wack of ashtrays in the course and auditing rooms, but not in the HGC. (How thoughtful.)
I wonder what hymn they used for the Sunday service – maybe Janice Joplin’s “Mercedes Benz”.
OMG they photoshopped the most lurid grin I’ve ever seen on his face. LOL
“You are creating an island of friendliness…”
Oops, that was from the Bible? If you quote from some place, give us the source so I don’t make a fool of myself yet again. 🙂
The Oracle says
Oh yeah, the purpose behind that was real biblical. Laughter!
You didn’t look like a fool. Actually, you showed compassion and offered words of encouragement to Whitestar.
Thank you for doing that.
Look closely at the 1st picture, the crowd in the lower right. It looks like the crowd is V or L – shaped and the center is hollow, i.e., no people. Is this a trick to make the crowd look bigger, or am I seeing something that is not there?
You’re probably right V.
There seems to some optical illusion in play here.
Personally I think Gold has gotten better at perception management from the *heady* days of the Millennium Event 😉
Wow Whitestar. I”m speechless. Is this prose you wrote cuz you’re having a hard time? Hang in there. You are among friends here.
I am overwhelmed with troubles
and my life draws near to death.
I am counted among those who go down to the pit
I am like one without strength.
I am set apart with the dead,
like the slain who lie in the grave,
whom you remember no more,
who are cut off from your care.
You have put me in the lowest pit,
in the darkest depths.
Your wrath lies heavily on me
you have overwhelmed me with all your waves
You have taken from me my closest friends
and have made me repulsive to them.
I am confined and cannot escape
my eyes are dim with grief.
The Oracle says
If you are counted as those down the pit, you are sinking with David Miscavige. Maybe you should reconsider your options?
Psalm 88, from that anchor of the Sunday Ladies Sewing Circle to those lost in Theetie Wheetie blindness – The Bible.
I see you are familiar with the Bible. Psalm 88 is the saddest, most despondent of the Psalms. Whitestar had left out the first two verses, which calls upon God and wrote the rest of it. Obviously there was a reason for this but it tells me that Whitestar was in a very particular frame of mind.
I sense you are not American because I recall you writing a bit about the goings on in South Africa, unless you were on a mission there.
In the U.S., there is a group out of the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas, who takes the Bible and uses it to forward their extreme ideologies, especially against gay persons. They picket the funerals of American soldiers, and stage demonstrations of other religions, schools and universities with signs saying “Thank God for 911”, “God hates Fags” or “God hates America”. They believe that American government and culture has gone soft on homosexuality and that when bad things happen it’s God telling us to change our ways.
This is a group who uses the Bible in a fundamentalist way to condemn others and spread hatred. This is their understanding of what the Bible is about.
There’s nothing Theetie Wheetie about that.
CEO’s are fired and replaced for failed business plans and lost investments in the real world.
The Cult of Personality and Materialism shamelessly plows forward in its “requests” for more and more money. Tens, actually hundreds of millions of dollars has gone world-wide into the Ideal Org program, which has not produced viable results and keeps the public in debt.
Miscagive is a horrible manager and administrator but is great at being a Cult Leader. People keep paying into this sham of a program, in spite of millions of dollars of investment without not really helping anyone. His true and only product of “Being a Cult Leader” is straight up and vertical.
As for that nice blue leather bound book, don’t even bother buying it. Errors will be found in that edition and it will be labeled “squirrel”, so you’ll have to turn it into the book police for destruction. Save your money, save your time, save your family, your energy, your joy, and your sanity.
R6-implant-Jesus wept, that mock-up of what they’re planning for the Whitecliff Arts College building in Auckland looks hideous and diabolical.
I agree doloras,
The place looks like a Fifth Invader Implant Station.
If I was your average public and saw a place like that I’d run the other way.
Cat Daddy says
LOOK at our MEST, aint it pretty
Ooh shiney stuff
Roger that CD.
You pretty much described the Brave New Church Scientology.
They figure they’ll overwhelm the public with their ostentatious opulence.
Betcha those 80 starts were all for a mini course or one of those EST type seminars.
In two weeks the place will look like it was hit by a Neutron Bomb.
Why no mention of Flagdown? Just wondering…
I agree. But this entire false stuff is interesting
The Oracle says
Would we lie to you? Let me count the ways…………
David Miscavige and Tom Cruise tout their dedication to the planet and mankind. They care not for the staff that make their beds, clean their toilets and dress them. They are obsessed with their “BIG BEING” identities. And they feed onto one another. THIS is how Hubbard explains an out 2d that tears down an Org! Two guys that are narcissists convincing one another they are the only important players in the game.
Both handicapped with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. And they are married to one another on this level.
They have SHUT DOWN the lines into Celebrity Center! People in the entertainment industry know if they even associate on a casual level with a Scientologist that person will be blabbing all about it while being secretly video taped and some freak named David Miscavige will be joking about them over Scotch as he listens to all. This is how David Miscavige tore down Celebrity Center and ensured he would not have to share Tom with any one else.
The Freewinds, which was a totally off policy project, floats around as a method for the IAS to do offshore banking, and a party palace for Tom and Dave, while it pollutes the Island of Bonaire and destroys life there for residents.
You ask yourself, can’t these men see at all, don’t they care about anyone including their own waste?
The answer is no. Because they are handicapped. The frustration comes from dealing disabled people. A person incapable of empathy is disabled and handicapped.
Causes: (just one)
Excessive admiration that is never balanced with realistic feedback.
To the extent that people are pathologically narcissistic, they can be controlling, blaming, self-absorbed, intolerant of others’ views, unaware of others’ needs and of the effects of their behavior on others, and insistent that others see them as they wish to be seen.
Narcissistic individuals use various strategies to protect the self at the expense of others. They tend to devalue, derogate and blame others, and they respond to threatening feedback with anger and hostility.
“Power is getting others to listen to you.” http://www.sptimes.com/TampaBay/102598/scientologyquotes.html
When you have people that consistently LIE TO THEMSELVES they will also LIE TO YOU.
It does no good to become frustrated with mentally challenged people. Miscavige and Cruise have mental disabilties. And they are leading the way.
Idle Morgue says
Awesome post Oracle!! Narcissistic Personality Disorder is rampant in Scientology – especially with David MIscavige and his side kick – Tom Cruise. I blew so much charge studying this subject and have admit – those psychs know what they are talking about with this subject! The trauma NP’s inflict are what we are healing from. It helps to understand. There is no recovery for Miss Cabbage and Cruise – they are too far gone! Discard w/o sorrow!!
Black Panther says
And there we go with the bloody leather-bound Non-E Campaign again. Pretoria Org announced having sold ALL their books by the 13th November last year. That’s a couple of Million right there. 6 months later, we find out they’re bankrupt and about to be sued because they have not paid ONE utility bill since taking occupation. Looks like their Non-E campaign worked well – in reverse.
The Oracle says
Leather bound Dianetics books starting at 24.99 on Ebay.
Oh the hours expense and effort the Church went through to stop people from selling and buying emeters on Ebay.
Church management is dedicated to STOPPING as it has morphed into a police force and an internal revenue service. This is the “new civilization” David has created for his flock. The peddling of identities. Super beggars. Wars with disgruntled customers. Certs that are not worth the paper they are printed on.
It’s the world outside that is the “Sea Of Violence” not the Sea Org with it’s history of abuse., injustice, abortions, false reports, denials, slavery, false arrest and false imprisonment, fraud and deception, domestic terrorism.
No amount of pretty new buildings can bring light into the faces of the oppressed, suppressed, denied, overworked and underpaid and misled people that wait within.
Every group has a thetan DNA strand. The lovely receptionist sitting at the this new ideal org carries the burden of Mike Rinder and the other human beings stuffed in a trailer in the desert and held as a prisoner as if convicted of major crimes against the state, with bars on the windows. False imprisonment of another human being who was working as a VOLUNTEER to make the world a better place.
The pretty buildings can not erase the thetan DNA. It has been analyzed and laid upon the table of the comm lines of the world to see.
The tone level of the group now is HIDING. And they pretend they can fill up these buildings?
Oh what the Pope can do with hope.
Lets assume it is true there were 2,500 at the opening and that 80 started and were at the Academy. Fine.
Now, where are the other 2,420 attendees? Did they already blow? 80 people is like a tiny drop of water in the middle of the Sahara. Microscopic expansion.
The 2006 New Zealand census showed 357 scientology devotees and the 2013 year showed 315. Not a lot of people to make the required donations for the next Auckland Ideal Org.
Think about it folks. This promo makes it sound like all you have to do is open the doors and the public will come rushing in. If that was the case, why would you need to donate more $? Why would you need fundraisers? When Apple comes out with a new product, do they fund raise for it? When Mcdonalds has a new burger, do they fund raise for it? No. They have a product that people want, and are willing to exchange a few bucks for. Smoke and mirrors man. Fun house mirrors. Hallucinogenic smoke.
Why bother stating a number of attendees?
Just use a word. Like “legion”, “myriad”. “fuckton”, or something.
All of which would be truthy.
Its like they can’t pass up a chance to lie or something.
They made sure to use tight shots of the crowd and lots of confetti so nobody could count the crowd.
Same with the course room. Gold comes in and moves all students on course to a corner of the course room takes their “money shot” and viola place looks full.
Again they probably got the ersatz “massive” crowd mostly standing in the mosh pit and dragged them in the Chapel and took that photo.
I remember I was on my BC course retread and they didn’t want a shot of actual BC students cause we all looked like a buncha hippies so they got all these preppie sea orgs boppers to stand in for us who looked that they could have been walking a College Campus in the ’40’s and ’50’s.
Jose Chung says
My latest INDIE win is realizing the tone level of scientology public is propitiation and staff is covert hostility.
Those pictures of public clapping all look good but off camera is the RTC goon squad taking notes
Sydney wont last,, the happy joy joy sump will go dry soon.
Tony DePhillips says
At about 3:15 into this clip you can watch Michael Roberts getting his IAS regg training.
Knowing Michael Roberts personally the way I do, he is a whore for the Co$. Hilton paid all his debts, but he has always been their personal slave. It’s too bad because he really is a nice guy.
Tony DePhillips says
Yeah, I really liked him while in and still think he is “basically good” :-).
By the way who is “Hilton”?
India Crep says
These criminals do not have 57 followers in all of Australia leave alone walked in off the street and handed over their wallets. What assholes.
What a stupid comment. You’re entitled to your views but that’s just asinine.
All these buildings look very appealing, like a mouse trap with some good cheese would look to a rodent. And like a mouse trap, it does not work if the rodent sees what it’s like when in “use.”
That’s because it was built by another type of rodent known as a squirrel.
Takes one to know one I guess.
Way back when I was “in” someone from the International Slu….er Land Lord’s office asked me if I was going to donate to “Ideal Orgs” and I told him that they were a violation of the following policy:
(Begin fair use)
HUBBARD COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE Saint Hill Manor, East Grinstead, Sussex HCO POLICY LETTER OF 23 SEPTEMBER 1970
QUARTERS, POLICY REGARDING HISTORICAL
In 20 years an enormous amount of experience has been gained regarding the quarters and housing of orgs.
From this experience there are only a few clear-cut lessons. These follow:
A. VIABILITY of the org (its economic survival including its security from political enemy motivated attack) is the first and foremost consideration. In terms of quarters an org can afford just so much expense. Therefore Viability is the first consideration -not how posh or what repute or what image. Thus we have the policy that
THE FIRST CONSIDERATION IN PROCURING QUARTERS IS THE VIABILITY OF THE ORG.
Example: Stockholm took very posh, fancy quarters. Up to that time it had been viable. The overload of expense rapidly upset the salary sum, the staff began to moonlight (work on other jobs) and the org all but collapsed until cheaper quarters were found.
Example: Phoenix 1955. A beautiful big building at small expense was found. It was very prominent. Enemy local attack was stepped up in the area including door to door black propaganda by psychiatrists and a campaign by Commie newspaper reporters. The full reserves of the org went into furnishing these quarters. The area had to be abandoned losing all reserves. Elizabeth NJ 1950. The shabby quarters there made lots of money. Beautiful country quarters were under survey for purchase. The psychiatric block much stronger then, began action in Trenton NJ to involve a law against medical schools. If the better quarters had been purchased they would have been lost. The org foolishly moved to New York City across the river where the NY org owned a building.
CONCLUSION: Viability of economics must not exceed the income of the org. The SAFE figure for rent and mortgage payments must not exceed 15% to 17% of the gross income of the org.
Political security must be attained by counter-attack and if not attained or is risky no heavy property investment or renovation should be programmed.
If a country itself is liable to fall, property investment and renovation should be held to a minimum as viability is under the general political threat to the country itself.
B. Quarters must be close to ample and cheap student and pc housing, restaurants and transport.
Example: Abellund in Denmark 1969 was a lovely place. The org there failed because it was 42 kilometers in the country without transport or taxis or buses, had no student housing nearby and had no restaurants. It was lovely but hated by students and pcs. Its isolation and general atmosphere promoted idleness and the org was down to half rations and no pay when forcefully moved by Flag into Copenhagen where in very bad quarters and bad housing it became viable. Student housing and feeding is very expensive and facilities scarce even so and still hurts the org income greatly.
Example: Elizabeth New Jersey 19SO. The org was located amid square blocks full of rooming houses and at the city center of three railways and bus lines. The students’ own rooms were used for auditing which permitted org expansion. Nothing was posh. Everything noisy. The org was very viable and had streams of people.
Example: SH 1960-1968. The presence of lots of rooms for students in the town and cheap living despite the lousiness of the quarters gave SH in England its greatest
periods of affluence. Political attack barred out foreign students and the town people came at length to petition the government to remove the ban. (The closure of the 1955 Phoenix org also caused 35 small town businesses to close in the org vicinity.)
CONCLUSION: The presence of ample cheap housing and restaurants and general and local transport is a main factor in the viability of an org.
C. Image is a secondary consideration.
Example: Hotel Reycar Alicante Spain was relatively cheap. It was quite posh. Students complained as it cost a bit more than they were willing to pay. Image in this case worked against the org.
Example: Johannesburg’s 3 old buildings foolishly sold and the money squandered has yet to attain the income it made in its “old horrible quarters” despite its newer image.
Example: The beauty of Saint Hill in England is secondary to its viability and student housing.
CONCLUSION: One does all he can by staff work to improve the image. If image is the reason why one must move from an area where the org was viable or had student housing, forget it. Polish up what you have already. Image is gratifying. If A and B exist, one can think about image. Image of the outer building does not much affect A and B. Cleanliness and order of what you have is the image to concentrate upon. Staff pay and food and cheap student housing do more for an org than a posh building.
D. DON’T SELL IN ORDER TO RENT IF YOU’RE VIABLE.
Example: London about 1965 agreed to sell its buildings. Three years later by agreement it had to vacate. It squandered its money so made and has rented quarters and has not done well since.
Example: Johannesburg sold its buildings in the late 60s for a profit, blew the profit on old bills instead of making the money and has been on a struggle ever since.
Example: Reversely Wash DC has paid for its buildings in rent several times over and has nothing and is in sporadic trouble, probably exceeding its 17% of gross for quarters.
CONCLUSION: Purchase is superior to renting unless political viability is very bad. And when an org owns quarters and is viable it is not clever to sell and rent.
E. Expensive office equipment is not a first priority.
Example: Camden NJ 1954 bought beautiful desks and chairs and cabinets. When it moved they were seized on a landlord pretext. All its reserves were tied up in furniture which can’t be resold anyway.
CONCLUSION: Enough desks and chairs and furnishings is far superior to top grade office furniture. Reserves tied up in furniture are never recoverable. Furniture quality does not influence production. Furniture lack does reduce production.
F. Renovations are destructive if extensive.
Example: London 1958-59 rented 7 Fitzroy. Contrary to orders which were to hire a man and do one room at a time, it went all out with contractors and even re-wired the place and went broke on renovation bills. It took 3 rough years to get the org out of debt. Then when the building was given back to the owners (Church of England) they charged huge building damages which had to be paid although they had a new sleek building in return for an old wreck it had been.
Example: Phoenix 1955 cost all the org reserves to renovate a building then lost.
Example: A ship was fully renovated before use and wound up costing more than a huge usable ship.
CONCLUSION: Don’t renovate at vast expense. Use and make it better as you can with your own people.
G. Other businesses or rentals to support an org wind up very costly.
Example: Hickstead Garage was bought to support Saint Hill. Was a horrible drag and distraction and supported nothing not even itself. SHSBC supported SH.
CONCLUSION: Schemes to use other than Scientology actions or partial rentals, etc can be a bad nuisance. Scientology supports Scientology orgs and we learn this over and over.
H. Depending on political viability it is better to buy than rent.
If political viability is shaky it is better to rent than buy.
Example: Spain’s Hotel Reyear was a great success as a rental, getting org quarters so students would rent rooms. However the Spanish government was worked on by the South African ambassador who was worked on by the World Federation of Mental Health Stooge Stander, a Commie in SA. The org was subjected to surveillance and upset and moved. It could not have moved easily had it owned.
CONCLUSION: In politically troubled areas use a downstat hotel and promise student room rentals. One can move in hours. Or one can stay. This would apply to the Middle East or to any country, like Spain, subjected to political menace. (Spain is intolerant of religions and its officials are bought easily and is coming in to Russian pressures and probably won’t live as a government beyond Franco’s death.)
1. Where possible, don’t split up units of the same org unless you have to.
Example: Notting Hill Gate 1955 was rented. Half the org stayed a busride away at 163 Holland Park, London. Denied some of the services of an org each part had a rough time.
Example: The HGC Los Angeles from 1956 for some time was separate. This was not too bad and it paralleled an earlier 1955 separate building HGC in Washington. But the secret here was the personal competence of the HGC D of P and when that person was promoted to LA, the HGC did much less well. The separate HGC in LA got into out tech.
CONCLUSION: The functioning public line units (Acad, HGQ should not be in separate buildings from the org. However working units such as Mimeo or even Div 2, except the Body Reg, have sometimes been separate from an org and no trouble was experienced. Housing and food for a staff can of course be separate and should be.
The above are the major policies relating to obtaining and situating quarters.
A and B are much more important than the remainder.
An org which adventures more than 15% of its current gross income for rent or purchase payments can get into far more serious trouble than an org with a poor building image. Hopeful thinking contrary to these policies, especially A and B, can smash an org.
The switch of address alone can cost an org a great deal unless loudly remedied.
One maxim is, if you have a going concern with enough income and pay, don’t monkey with it until you can realize a total purchase price with A and B in mind.

Aside from the policy “Ideal Orgs” and other policies that I may post later.
Anyway guess I didn’t score any brownie points with my truculent response since I ended up in the MAA’s office yet again for some other reason.
I think I was on what was left of management’s top ten hit list because I was so “cooperative” yet they couldn’t find a reason to declare me other then the fact that I used to write a lot of annoying reports on how they were screwing the pooch.
Ce’ La Vive.
RV, Thanks for posting. It’s been a long time since I read the whole thing. It is so on point. It should be read in whole by each and every scientologist. It probably is NOT made available anywhere in orgs.
I’d forgotten the comments regarding political stability, and really I’d forgotten the many examples (but remembered the essential admonitions in this PL).
C’est la vie! (Forgive me, but I had a Grammar Nazi French teacher – Mme. Coudeyre – whom I loved. This is a contraction of “ce est la vie” or “ca est la vie,” literally and word for word, “this is the life” or “that is the life.”)
What can I say Leonore ‘cept that my French teacher literally had tears in his eyes when he saw how badly I could screw up the language 😉
Never did get that gender thing down with the verbs.
Though I did find that once you learned French you could learn any other romantic language like Spanish for example which comes in handy here in LA.
That policy and the one on “Ideal Orgs” probably have been classified T/S SCI for limited dist lest the public find out how badly they’re being screwed over on this real estate scam.
A bunch of local yokels fork over the big bucks for this so called “Ideal Org” and they hand it over to the Church of Scientology “Trust” to do what thou wilt with it who in turn charges an exorbitant rent to the staff for the “privilege” using it.
Probably most of the public don’t know about this lil’ hook ‘cept maybe the sleaze balls regging them for commish.
The whole op out does Jim and Tammy’s scam since it’s hard to prove inurement since the funds are diffused to a “Trust” and various third parties involved in promoting it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if much of the money wasn’t being added to some black budget somewhere.
It certainly isn’t being used for promotion.
I mean look at that “promo piece”. A bunch a kids with finger paints could do a better job.
The Oracle says
They look like government buildings and bank buildings to me.
The Oracle says
The photos of the inside of this new building look like the department of motor vehicles in Las Vegas combined with the building codes and permits authority.
That’s right Oracle,
Most of these so called “Ideal Orgs” are monuments to mediocracy and bureaucracy.
Thanks to the redefinition of “Standard” which now means conformity ,uniformity and is as bland as say a “Big Mac” in the Church these days which is why they do “drills” where they expect PCs and Pre OTs to respond in a certain proscribed manner. No variables.
Students are supposed to just do the drills exactly as written. No variables.
Any variables are either sent to ethics or sec checked at their own expense then sent to ethics.
Sometimes they even put “Qual” on the routing form but usually the Qual sec or if they happen to have a Dir of Review signs it off like they did at ASHO just before I blew that pop stand.
De-attested ObedientThetan says
So spot on and true as usual Mike. It’s a perfectly crafted scam that’s being perpetrated on the well-intentioned/close-minded/oblivious thousand or so “public” that comprise the Church of Scientology.
I rarely comment, however I do read your blog every day. I want you to know that I have the utmost admiration and appreciation for you and all you have done and continue to do to expose the truth and bring justice to what is possibly the most corrupt, disingenuous and abusive organization that has ever existed. Thank you Mike. I hope you will continue for as long as it takes to set things right.
Bob Dobbs says
“[P]ossibly the most corrupt, disingenuous and abusive organization that has ever existed”? Seriously?
I’ve got nothing against Catholics or the People’s Temple victims, for example but didn’t you forget a couple of things from history? As bad as the CofS is, it’s nowhere close to being the worst ever. The hyperbole doesn’t help expose the truth.
De-attested ObedientThetan says
Bob, I was saying it is possibly the worst in terms of the combination/sum of all the adjectives I mentioned: corrupt disengenious and abusive (etc). It can insidiously and covertly trap a person, while concurrently being corrupt organizationally/monetarily and abusive at the very top of their management (which trickles down in varying degrees through the organization), and all the while proclaiming their dishonest “results” and how amazing their “tech” and organization is. I know of no other organization in history that does so much abuse and harm while concurrently promoting to media and followers/potential followers that they are at the highest state of ethics, good intentions, practical application (both individually and socially), as well as their amazing “results” (and that they actually get people to believe this and have been getting away with all of this for decades).
Tony DePhillips says
I’ll buy one of those leather bound books if 50 others do too in the next 15 minutes….
Come on let’s do it for the cob!!
Ha! That really made me LOL!
Oh the silly games…
Laughed loudly at that Tony, boy does that bring back memories of evenings wasted!
My uncle tells a joke. He makes us laugh with it. In Miscavige land it is told as truth.
Person # 1: Did you hear what that person just said? “What a waste.”
My Uncle: Yes, yes, I do have quite the waist.
Person # 1: Now they said “what an ass.”
My Uncle: (strutting around). Yep, I’ve still got it, my ass is perfect.
The point of this story is that a person can believe only what they want to hear.
Assuming the Church could survive its dwindling membership and continue to try and get everyone responsible for every Ideal Org, I can just see the promo around 2050, where every Scientologist in the world is being regged to complete the the last org to become an Ideal Org in (New Haven? Battle Creek? Winnepeg? Buenos Aires? Eppendorf?). Meanwhile more than have the Ideal orgs previously made have closed down or downsized, but this news is kept from the faithful who are now required to entirely avoid the Internet and only go online to special ScientologyNet system that pumps out the lies and propaganda continually. Somehow medical science has managed to keep Miscavige alive and running the show now at age 89. the LRH bio was never published, but the David Miscavige bio has been published and all Scientologists required to buy 1000 copies each….
Morris Adams says
Good predictions for the future, SSOA. But I think the year will be 2015 not 2050 (although most likely dear leader will have blown by then).

And then he will release His Ideal Autobiography to be named ‘How I was able to keep my Ideal Sphincter Muscle Intact While Becoming the Wealthiest Ecclesiastical Leader On The Planet.’
How Punishing Brutality Can Work For You And The Tiny Thetans (minions) Who Love Being Brutalized.
Never before in the long history of ecclesiastical ecclesiasticness, has pain and punishment ever been taken to such ecclesiastical heights!
I, David Miscavige, have discovered advanced tech of Punishing Brutality making burning at the stake so old school.
Yes folks, out of the pure goodness of my ecclesiastical heart, I have found new and effective ways to punish minions and make them grateful for my Great Ecclesiatic Brutality.
Remember, never fear brutilizing your fellow man for the good of making a Scientology planet.
Wow, thanks COB, I wish I can be brutilized!!
Yay, a chance to add Sydney to my collection on my Ideal bookshelf!

All that bullshit — so one asshole can pretend to be an “ecclesiastical leader.”
What a strange con.
Tony DePhillips says
Yes, a strange con indeed. A vanity project for an aged, socially-inept expediter, and a boutique religion for a few rich people and faded celebrities, all based on the promise of a vague new civilization, the personal benefits of which are glaringly absent in its members.
