Many have wondered what the scientology obsession with files is all about. The topic of this posting is ONE type of file kept in scientology organizations -- what is known as the "Central File." There are other types of files, including: Preclear Files which contain notes and records of all auditing actions on an individual, Ethics Files which contain all reports written on a person and disciplinary actions, Personnel Files which contain all the personal information about anyone on staff in an org, OSA Files which contain any information about disaffection or criminal … [Read more...]
“Fastest-Growing Religion in the 21st Century” UK Edition
More evidence that the "fastest-growing religion" is a sad lie. This time from the "home of L. Ron Hubbard" - the scientology headquarters in England at St. Hill. This was a "national" event for the most important activity in the scientology world -- fundraising for "ideal orgs." Here is where the UK stands on the "ideal org strategy" after 13 years. One ideal org in London -- bought by IAS. For ALL of London. CC London closed down. Buildings in Plymouth, Manchester, Birmingham and Sunderland that have stood empty for years as they do not have any funds to renovate them. Nothing … [Read more...]
Denver “Ideal” Org – The Lie of “Expansion”
Here is the REAL story about an "Ideal Org." These buildings are what scientology inform the world is "proof" of their massive international expansion. The hype is that "ideal orgs" "expand 10X". They are STILL circulating this poster. Denver had its ribbon yanked in 2012. Nearly 5 YEARS ago now. Miscavige claims that THIS is the strategy to make all orgs the size of old St Hill. First they have to be made "ideal." And then their "straight up and vertical" "10X" expansion begins. And they never look back. Oops -- Denver just let the cat out of the bag. Five years later, … [Read more...]
Ideal Org Lies
This latest piece from Porn Valley ideal building reminded me what a horrendous self-serving scam this is. You will note the "ideal Valley" is missing a few things -- like about 100 staff (in order to have one for each room) and of course their filing is decades out of date. So, why is there so much effort (extracting of funds) put into these ideal nothings? The answer is simple: Miscavige is frantically trying to keep the veneer of expansion from peeling off the moldy walls of his shrinking kingdom. He uses these "ideal orgs" to convince his sheeple (and tries to persuade the outside … [Read more...]
California Dreaming
Some thoughts on the latest "ideal org" to open in San Diego this weekend. Shermanspeak Ah, the magnificent prose: Follow the Pacific Coast Highway down Southern California’s meandering shoreline along a 70-mile stretch of sandy beaches basking in the most perfect weather—anywhere—and you’ll arrive to the city of San Diego. Such was the location for a sunbaked Saturday afternoon amid San Diego’s downtown skyline—a sublime setting to celebrate the city’s new Church of Scientology. The insane claims: the ribbon yanking on this building is "hailed as a moment for the American Dream" … [Read more...]
Newest “Ideal Mission” is Hiding any Scientology Connection
This is the announcement of the latest "Ideal Mission" on the scientology.org website. Here is the Mission's website that has NO MENTION of scientology -- it is called the "Orange County Life Improvement Center": Even when you click on "Counseling" this is what you see: Why are they hiding the scientology connection? This does NOT seem very "ideal"?? Surprised they have "Church of Scientology" on the front of the building. Perhaps they put that up temporarily for the ribbon yanking video? Seems that being scientology isn't much of a selling … [Read more...]
Ideal Org Fail – More
Anniversaries of ideal org ribbon yankings are being celebrated routinely these days. Yet, in fact, there is little (or nothing) to celebrate. San Francisco is one of the first 4 "ideal" orgs -- way back in November 2003. That is 13 years ago. In all that time, they have NOT even achieved St Hill Size. This was the level of operation L. Ron Hubbard said was a "viable organization" -- that is above the "make-break" point. Thus, by Hubbard's reckoning any org that is NOT SH size is not viable and cannot make it in the world. He also said this: So, what is wrong with these … [Read more...]
Valley OTC Minutes
I periodically publish Valley Org OTC Minutes that are sent my way. Haven't had many of late, but then this one came in. The OTC is all aflutter as they apparently completed their fundraising target (for the time being at least) thanks to the "OT Warrior Princess" stepping in at the end to put everyone out of their misery. Of course, they are still "collecting" the actual money, even though they have celebrated their accomplishment. And while they are collecting they are apparently still offering half-humanitarianships. They have raised all the money yet are still offering discounts to rake … [Read more...]
Cradle Robbing
For some reason, scientology is proud of the fact they recruit children for staff. It seems like that is virtually all they can get these days. I suspect these are children of scientologists - Brennecke is definitely a familiar name to me. There was a Jan Brennecke at Int. Pasadena doesn't really have the ability to reach out to Venezuela and the former Soviet bloc countries for staff (though somehow Cincinnati has managed to do so). These are the two most fertile areas for Sea Org recruits for Flag and LA. Apparently there are two general categories of people that join staff or the SO … [Read more...]
Scientology Churches: Open and Welcoming. Not
I was recently in New York, literally across the street from St Patrick's Cathedral. With 15 minutes to spare, I stopped in for a quick visit in the middle of a weekday afternoon. Literally hundreds of people were sitting on the front steps enjoying the sunshine and doing who knows what. Inside there were probably 500 - 1000 people either sitting in the pews or walking around looking at the architecture, taking photos and shooting videos. They did a cursory purse inspection for women with bags (or men with backpacks) at the door, otherwise access was unfettered and uninhibited. Nobody … [Read more...]
