Fresh news hot off the gossip train. These guys just let 'em rip and apparently expect everyone to be too polite to comment on their crassness. New prices are part of GAG II! How special.... AND, based on a thorough study of everything LRH ever wrote or said about pricing (wonder if that includes the fact that that Academy Levels are supposed to be equivalent to one month average wage...?) They already cancelled Service Completion Awards -- funny, I read the despatch traffic from LRH where he came up with that idea. Believe me, nobody OTHER than LRH could implement an org giving people cash … [Read more...]
Dante’s Inferno — Scientology Style
Here is the ultimate admission that corporate Scientology has arrived at its final destination. Giving money IS the new auditing. Turning over cash provides "case gain", confers remarkable abilities and powers on you and it gives you status (at least according to the endless stream of promotion, emails, videos and events). Everything anyone could ever want from a journey to spiritual enlightenment and "truth revealed". The descent into MEST -- which is after all what money represents and that old saying is very true, money can't buy you happiness (or love if you follow the Beatles … [Read more...]
Not The Friendliest Place In The World
A commentary sent in by a Special Correspondent that I felt worthy of broader coverage. It might be more appropriately titled with the astute observation MONEY IS THE ONE THING NOT TAINTED BY ASSOCATION WITH AN SP. A few posts back you commented that Flag's systematic and systemic practice of purging "undesirable" staff and public deserved a post of its own. Indeed it does. Having been a "purgee" I am personally familiar with this corporate policy. Furthermore I have witnessed numerous instances of others being purged. Interestingly enough, the purge flows both ways, as many people have … [Read more...]
UK Ideal Fundraising — The Delusion is Mind Blowing UPDATED
I have seen a lot of unreal delusory statements coming from inside the bubble but I think this one takes the cake (so far....) This is the UK "Landlord", responsible for tens of millions of pounds of real estate. I don't know him, but he sounds like a teenager who thinks if he is "enthusiastic" everything will turn out ok "we are winning and things are looking good" "we will make this cleared UK a reality and are doing this". The Porsche raffle is an interesting touch... But the real mind-blower is this: "The sun is still shining and summer is still here so move up to your next st … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Norwegian Shrinkage
This article was sent in by Anette Iren Johansen, who is taking time out from her own blog to act as Norwegian Special Correspondent for Something Can Be Done About It. Thanks Anette! Where is the massive worldwide unprecedented straight up vertical expansion of Scientology? Apparently it has not yet reached Norway. No expansion in the richest country of the world? I'm not sure whether the Vikings are cult proof or if this is just the worst example of Scientology's failed Ideal Org strategy. There is only one Church of Scientology in Norway. It goes by the name Oslo Org. In 2004 the church m … [Read more...]
Still More Ideal Org Insanity
These 3 email/promotipons were sent out last week. Each is as nutty as the next. All are irrefutable evidence that the Vulture Culture reigns supreme in the world of corporate Scientology. The first promotes (last week) the "Maiden Voyage" (that didn't happen in JUNE). But more bizarre is the bottom of this list..... Seems the Ideal Org Strategy in the "First Ideal Continent" has run into a few speed bumps chasms. As I recall, St Louis bought a building some years ago.... Hawaii has just never gone anywhere, even in this "era of Massive International Expansion greater in the last year than … [Read more...]
Miscavige’s Motto
Finally, some (accidental) truth in advertising. This IS what the orgs and "Humanitarians" have been led to believe "If you build it, they will come" -- so it's interesting to see it being stated overtly. But it is NOT the whole truth. The truer statement would be the actual Miscavige Motto -- "If you build it, they will believe me." THAT campaign has worked with the sheeple. They DO believe that the purchase and renovation of buildings is proof of massive international expansion. It even worked with some media for a while (you never see ANY statement from the church that doesnt include how … [Read more...]
Vulture Culture Speaks For Itself
If you ever wanted a visual encapsulation of the Vulture Culture, this "Ideal Org" promotion says it all. There is no pretense here. "Get Prosperous" = "Bridge Ascent." The "old" line in Scientology used to be "Get Trained" and now it's "Get Prosperous" and we are going to teach you how to do that by "Upping Your Ask" to increase your "Closing Skills".... This is Sciendollargy in full living color. What is most curious to me is whether anyone would be masochistic enough to show up to an event with a Freewinds Reg who promotes himself as the master of "closing" and getting more … [Read more...]
Hooked On Begging
This email was forwarded to me by a number of people this morning, incredulous that they are STILL trying to collect money for Palace Miscavige. At this point, it is on automatic. The first thought in Corporate Scientology is "Give me your money" and ANY reason/excuse will do. No matter how lame, unreal or downright stupid it is. After all, "any outflow is good" and the ONLY thing that really counts is MONEY. The derision LRH displayed for the GI stat push in orgs is well-known. This is way beyond that -- as back in those days there was some significance of a service associated with the … [Read more...]
The Great Ideal Orgs Scam
Smoke and Mirrors Putting together some backlogged material that has been sent in over the past couple of weeks. There has been so much news and so many things happening that some of these are a bit stale, but nevertheless, worth noting. This "Ideal Org" program is such an abject disaster it is difficult to overstate the magnitude of the fail. So, here are a few examples to highlight the fact that Pinocchio Pouw's statements that everyone is missing the "real story" of Scientology with "37 new churches opened in the last few years" is in fact TRUE. The real story IS that 37 buildings have … [Read more...]
