Alfraudi and Tony Mo holding court Two of the scientology Hall of Fame grifters came together recently at Flag: Alfreddie (affectionately known to his friends as Alfraudie) Johnson and Tony Muhammad (Tony Mo or now known as Abdul Malik Sayyid Muhammad) We haven't seen them for a while -- though both were once very prominent and both are IAS Freedom Medal Award Winners. The constant promotion of the Nation of Islam in the scientology world seems to have come to a virtual standstill, so it was a bit of a surprise to see these two pop up, along with Sister Nayirrah Tivica … [Read more...]
Dog Now Chasing New Car
It took less than 24 hours. The "10,000 onto or through Solo NOTs" is already assigned to the scrap heap and a "new game" has been announced. They don't have any kooky Hubbard quote to justify it, now it is just an arbitrary number: 25,000. They reached 10,000 in 40 years -- continuing at that same rate, the target will be achieved in 2086! And that supposes scientology will not continue to shrink... The dog is now chasing a Ferrari and is not expected to ever catch it. But, like "Clearing the Planet" scientologists will cheer in the hallways and nod to one another knowingly that … [Read more...]
Dog Finally Catches Car!
It has finally happened. After 40 years, they are claiming to have accomplished 10,000 people “onto or through” Solo NOTS. This is of course not true, they count everyone who has ever been on Solo NOTs in this number, whether they died or quietly left or have been declared SP. But they are claiming the victory so let's take them at their word. How coincidental that it happened on the exact day they promoted a week ago -- scheduling events to announce it. Nothing contrived about this at all. So, what does it mean? This whole campaign that Clive Rabey has been the face of since he … [Read more...]
A Window Into The Scientology Bubble
There is quite a lot to be gleaned from this FB post and the comments. First, and most obvious, these scientologists are apparently NOT at cause over their lives and are struggling financially. Second, their solution is NOT to "solve it with scientology." Haven't they read all the success stories from the people who listened to the ACCs and it totally changed their life/handled all their problems/ got them moving on the Bridge etc etc? Not going to be auditors who are cause over life? They didn't even take them out of the plastic wrappers. So many scientologists have been convinced to … [Read more...]
The Dog Has Almost Caught The Car
After more than 40 years, Clive Rabey and his Flag AO have nearly got their teeth on the bumper… even though the car has slowed to a walk due to be being so old, the question becomes: Then what? We will be "steering or leading" the planet - according to Hubbard. This is why this target has been announced and pursued all these decades. This single quote from a lecture by Hubbard in 1952. Of course, 9,851 won't do it, Hubbard says 10,000 so that is what it must be. And never mind that the population of earth in 1952 was 2.5 billion and now it's 8 billion (where did all t … [Read more...]
Flag is Desperate…
Sorry I have been neglecting the blog of late -- I was ill with the flu and ended up in hospital and then had a long planned commitment out of town and just got home last night and am now trying to get back to normal. Seems like the world has been upside down since right before the XMas holidays... I got this in my inbox and it struck me because of the level of effort they are putting into this. Flag have sent 6 technical staff ("And more!" they say, but don't name them which seems a little strange), to try to get some arrivals. Desperate times call for desperate measures it … [Read more...]
Elena Cardone — Live at Flag!
Almost the LAST person I would want to tell me how to live my life (her husband Grant would be joint top of the list with David Miscavige, Tom Cruise and Michael Chan, she is next tier down). The Cardone Scammer Family Syndicate is not who anyone should emulate. And they are charging $500! Is anyone actually going to pay for this? It makes you long for the good old days of the yearly postulate seminars by Clive Rabey which were free and were just as effective as this one will be. After all, Clive hasnt made his postulates for 10,000 onto Solo NOT's for 30+ years now.... Oh, late … [Read more...]
Flag: Pan-Denominational Fundraising
Scientology, according to Hubbard is pan-denominational and is thus harmonious and accepting of all other religions, in fact it embraces them all. In Hubbard's view, scientology is the culmination and is senior to all other religions as it provides the answers that all other religions have sought. He expressed this concept in the photo shoot he did with history's "thinking men" and "religious leaders" all coming to see scientology as the answer -- a composition he included in the What Is Scientology tome (he took the photos of all these characters and then had them converted into artistic … [Read more...]
The LRH Hall/New Flag AO Are Coming… For Sure. Promise.
They have been fundraising for the "LRH Hall" for decades -- it's a white elephant project that is simply a sinkhole for money to show they are "spending on charitable activities." It is a completely unnecessary project, they can't even fill Ruth Eckerd Hall for their events these days. Of course, they haven't even STARTED the building. No surprise, once they actually begin, their income will go down. Remember how long they dragged out the SP (Super Power) Building -- Miscavige held the "groundbreaking" ceremony in 1998. Then dragged out the start of the building project for years and … [Read more...]
Tampa Bay Magazine: Scientology Edition
This month's edition of Tampa Bay is evidence of how hard scientology is still working to "safepoint" the Clearwater community. There is a concurrently published YouTube video on this subject: Tampa Bay magazine is typical of this sort of publication you find in many major cities -- it's glossy pages feature full page ads for the restaurants they review, ads from realtors for the homes they highlight, ads from lawyers who write columns in the magazine and a bunch of "social" shots of the local luminaries attending events in the area. There is no real reporting, it's all puff … [Read more...]
