You Can “Be It All”

May 13, 2021 By Mike Rinder 6 Comments

You can almost smell the desperation in this new promotional piece. The "ideal" org in Auckland is clearly in need of staff. They have a handful and are making no progress towards achieving St Hill Size (and thus the "Make-Break point" where they actually become viable). Their newest pitch is pretty pathetic.   This is the video they are wanting everyone to watch... It's very short. And very, very amateurish. Certainly not a SuMP production. Their sales gimmick is that you don't really have to give up anything to be a staff member. You can do all these others things … [Read more...]

An Important Survey

December 3, 2018 By Mike Rinder 68 Comments

Now, this is a deadly serious activity. It is also another of those inadvertently revealing things from inside the bubble that appears out of the ether with more regularity than one would expect. "Sean and Frank" clearly mean business. And this is VERY important. We need to find out what scientologists "think" about a "few things." Well, being a sucker, I took the bait. Here is the first question: Now, what good scientologist would not answer that they have at at least "wanted" to do this at some point? It's like asking "have you ever wanted to have money". It's … [Read more...]

The Scientology Staff Recruitment Pitch

April 3, 2018 By Mike Rinder 121 Comments

Despite what they tell themselves about their expansion, this was found on "MeetUp" and I thought it fascinating. Scientology is back to trying to recruit "wogs". Melbourne presents itself as one of the more successful "ideal" orgs -- and yet they apparently don't have a flow of new people to sign up for staff to deal with the inevitable attrition of those who leave because they cannot take the hours/insane demands or cannot survive on "staff pay", or both. Note the typically terrible spelling and grammar. And how they carefully call this "volunteering" and are given a "stipend … [Read more...]

Some thoughts on #scientology litigation. Hubbard: “fight on the basis of total attrition of the enemy.” Spending huge reserves of tax-free money, they bank on most not going the distance. But for those who do -- scientology has never won a damages trial.

The pressure is mounting on #scientology. The day is coming where they will be held accountable for their reckless disregard for human rights and the law. They’ve gotten away with hiding behind the shield of “religion” for way too long. #JusticeforDave https://www.thedailybeast.com/ex-scientologists-came-forward-with-shocking-trafficking-claims-now-they-say-theyre-being-stalked
