Autographed Copies of A Billion Years
Due to many requests, I am again making autographed copies of my book available -- you can click on the link at the left of the home page here or simply click this link. I had stopped doing this a few months ago as there was too much going on and I was not physically able to manage it. I am doing better now. The cost is $75 plus shipping ($5 in the US, $25 outside). You can write the message you want to be included in your copy. … [Read more...]

A Billion Years — One Year On
Today marks the one year anniversary of the publication of A Billion Years. It has been quite a year. It began last September with a media blitz, some wonderful reviews, huge public support and scientology's desperate efforts to stop and then discredit the book and me. Things have continued apace all the way to now -- A Billion Years has been the number one bestselling book in the scientology category on Amazon every week since, with the exception of one week when Liz Gale's new book took that spot. I am happy to say that none of Hubbard's books even crack the top 5 in the … [Read more...]
The New Library Campaign
Scientology is infamous for its "library campaigns" where they pressure people into giving money to buy L. Ron Hubbard books to ship to libraries. This is a program I initiated when I was L. Ron Hubbard Personal Public Relations Officer International (LRH PPRO Int). It started out as a relatively benign activity, but has morphed into something that has resulted in millions in revenue for the sale of the books, and tens of thousands or more Hubbard books thrown in the dumpster by libraries who do not want unsolicited books. There are numerous stories from librarians who have said they didn't … [Read more...]
A Billion Years Update: Audiobook Outside US and Personalized Signed Copies
Audiobook for Non-US can now be pre-ordered! Finally! The red tape has given way and the audiobook can now be pre-ordered in countries outside the US. Check your Amazon site and it should be available there. I would like to hear from people in the comments in Australia, New Zealand, S. Africa and Ireland if they are able to pre-order on Amazon now (my Amazon defaults to the US site where it has always been available and so far only have confirmation it is on Amazon UK). If not, please try WF Howes Personalized signed editions of A Billion … [Read more...]
A New Review of A Billion Years
Justin Clark, a public historian and writer based in the Midwest, reached out to let me know he had read my book and written a review for the Truth Seeker, one of the oldest publications dedicated to humanism and freethought. He also published it on his blog I am including it here as it is one of the most complete, yet concise summaries of my book. Justin does a remarkable job of covering so much in what is a fairly lengthy review -- but given how much it covers, it's quite a feat to have kept it a manageable length. He also did a podcast talking about the book and The Aftermath … [Read more...]
L. Ron Hubbard: March 13, 1911 – January 24, 1986
Today marks 37 years since the death of L. Ron Hubbard -- founder of scientology, "Source" to his followers, compulsive storyteller and master conman. I want to take a moment today to recommend Russell Miller's wonderful, detailed, enlightening unauthorized biography Bare-Faced Messiah: The True Story of L. Ron Hubbard. Miller's book opened my eyes to so much about Hubbard as he connected dots and answered many questions. The diligent research and detail in his account is remarkable, sifting through the endless stories and lies told by Hubbard about his life and accomplishments to … [Read more...]
