The relationship between the Nation of Islam and scientology is becoming stranger and stranger. Whether anyone likes it or not, scientology membership is disproportionately white. Massively so. And Louis Farrakhan is militantly anti-white. So, what the hell are they doing in bed with one another? Miscavige made a big show of announcing a Harlem "ideal org" more than 10 years ago that is yet to open. No big priority there -- in that same time he has wrapped up and yanked the ribbon on "ideal orgs" in Cambridge, Ontario, Malmo Sweden and Basel Switzerland. So, clearly, the "reach" into … [Read more...]
The Epic Summer Of Scientology, Auspicious Ribbon-Cuttings And Other Hilarity
Fortunately, someone from the church sends me a "good news" email (from email2you@hushmail.com) to keep me abreast of the latest stories released by scientology. The latest is worthy of comment for a few reasons. Here it is, the big news from Tokyo.... First thought. Chairman of the Pompadour is looking more and more like Bob Duggan and that hair is becoming almost Don King-like. It seems to have taken on a life of its own... Second, "Epic Summer" is a bit weak. Epic has been so over-used now to describe everything from the next graduation you must attend to the last … [Read more...]
Debbie Cook Revisited
It's been some time since any news about Debbie Cook has surfaced. Then last weekend Tony Ortega posted that she has just published a book on Amazon about recovering from Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. Although I haven't spoken to Debbie in years, I have thought about her and Wayne many times and after reading some of the comments on Tony's blog, I felt some background information might be of interest to fill in a few blanks and perhaps dispel some misconceptions. There hasn’t really been a reason for me to write about this before. Marty covered the activities of her case and the s … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
Become a 75% Humanitarian You will be better than than 50% Humanitarians from the match game... This is it! "Only" 1,6 left to raise (not counting the $600k promised but not paid...) Should be around the "ballpark" with this and then will be given the REAL figure. The largest honor roll on earth STILL cannot complete this most important ideal org on earth. You may be ready... But we are not. We just sent our "team" for training. It's OK, we haven't audited anyone on a NED intensive since we became an "ideal … [Read more...]
L. Ron Hubbard Envoy Extraordinaire
While they keep the pressure on Ideal Org begging to hand out humanitarianisms, the IAS vultures circle offering up patronisms and the Planetary Dissemination hyenas are trying to scrape together some crumbs in exchange for heroisms, the old reliable vampires at the Mecca of Technical Imperfection are reviving the heat on the L. Ron Hubbard Hall. The old hands who sucked so much out of Flag's public for their SP building are patterning their new pitch on another superhero concept, but instead of the Legion of Doom they have the Legion of Honor. No longer will cornerstones suffice. And … [Read more...]
In Memoriam: Patrick Gualtieri
Pat Gualtieri is one man who every year for the last 15 years has been able to stop all traffic on 5 th Ave in Manhattan, a man known to be able to pull off miracles for the parade he puts on each year to honor American Veterans. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of a wonderful friend. Pat passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Brooklyn 10 am, July 21 2015 at the age of 70. An infection resulting from the fight against cancer is what caused his death. He is survived by his older brother Joe and his two children Tara and Gayla and his long term partner Molly … [Read more...]
Scientology Expansion? Here Is The Proof
You hear David "Let Him Die" Miscavige prattle on in his endless shermanspeak about how popular scientology is and the "massive demand from the public for the answers only we can provide." Much ado has been made by him about the amazing statistics of "hits" on the internet and "visitors" to the the scientology.org site, "3.1428 people every 1.7 seconds think about clicking on one of our fair and balanced videos" blah blah blah.... But of course, there is no evidence to support any of his bold assertions, and everyone not in his thrall laughs, shakes their head and goes on with life … [Read more...]
64X Expansion
42X was not good enough. Let's make it 64X in 17 months. 64 is a good number. 8x8. 4 cubed. 2 to the 6th power. It just has a nice ring to it that connotes exponential expansion.... 17 months I am not so sure about. 18 would have been better, but someone probably decided 17 sounded less contrived. Like instead of saying there were 12,000 people at the SP building ribbon cutting there were 12,311, because nobody would make up an exact number like that unless it was true. But really it is 19 months since GAG II. I suppose if you are going to just make up numbers it doesn't matter wh … [Read more...]
More Ideal Org Insanity: The “LA Org Pattern”
The answer to the question "How will the LA Org pattern boom Cambridge Org?" is VERY simple. It won't. 1. Miscavige is not sending 200 Sea Org members to Cambridge to work from 9am to midnite 7 days a week for free. 2. Cambridge is not located next to a subway entrance so they cannot bodyroute unsuspecting suckers in.... And the 6 MONTH 'apprenticeship" all the Ideal Org EDs have been put through to "train" them on how to bodyroute is utterly meaningless (this is supposedly the key element that made LA Org stats go into "straight-up Affluence"). Like many other "ideal orgs" Cambridge … [Read more...]
Another Sad Fundraising Story
This is sad. And all too common. Committing financial suicide to hand over money to be spent on some extravagant building that will sit empty for years, and even if it does eventually get renovated into a marble floored palace with custom furniture and carpets it will remain as empty as it was when it was a shell. The last thing Columbus "org" needs is a $10 million dollar building. It is like buying the Taj Mahal for a lemonade stand. And he is so deluded he encourages others to jump off the same cliff he did. Scientology is not teaching anyone to "think for themselves" but only … [Read more...]
