On New Year's Day I posted a comment to my Facebook page welcoming in the new year with some humor from David Miscavige's address to the faithful sheeple at the event in Los Angeles. A few other observations beyond noting the utter gibberish he spouted about compressed time and warp speed, a year equivalent to "a thousand years of triumph" and "arriving on the porch of eternity." I am ignoring the horrendous (from his perspective) events of the year that he also ignored. They need not be recounted, it suffices merely to say the words "Going Clear" passed the lips of orders of magnitude more … [Read more...]
Rundown of Problems
A Special Correspondent (clearlypissedoff) sent this to me. They did a lot of work to compile this information and it deserves to see the light of day as it is an invaluable resource for those looking for a summary of problems and sources of data. It seems like a perfect posting to get the New Year started with something both memorable and useful. clearlypissed off sent me this and asked me to put it at the top of this posting: "Thank you very much Mike, for editing this document and posting it. I would like to make the comment that this was assembled with the viewpoint of having … [Read more...]
The Latest Con
The cons just keep rolling in. Though they also have an element of armed robbery. You are presented with a unilateral dictate "here is how things are now, and that means you have to turn over more money to us." This one is a new angle I hadn't seen before. In "celebration" of the "golden" age of tech, they have issued NEW Clear and OT bracelets -- "in accordance with LRH's precise instructions." Of course, they cost an arm and a leg. But tough. It's all justified when it is making "planetary clearing a reality." The old ones are no good any more. And Colin Davie, the robot … [Read more...]
David Miscavige Big Time Brown-nosing
I mentioned this in passing before but have not had time to go through and provide commentary on the Impact magazine featuring the annual IAS event. But I could not leave this tidbit til after XMas. If Saturday Night Live or John Oliver set out to satirize the fawning worship of money in scientology again, they would be hard pressed to come up with anything that tops this. The IAS event in the UK, and the annual Gala dinner the following night, are the biggest moments in the fundraising year in scientology. They are the single most important day on the scientology calendar now, far … [Read more...]
Removing Arbitraries From The Arbitraries, Again
Apparently it's no longer called "revising" - in scientology newspeak it is now called "un-revising". Undoing the arbitraries implemented by [squirrel who Shall Not Be Named], this magnificent "new" Solo NOT's course is SO MUCH BETTER than the last one. The one they have been pushing for 20 years as the pinnacle of achievement in scientology. The one so important that you had to fly to Flag and pay them to sec check you every 6 months to ensure you were doing it properly. This is the course Dear Leader his personal self re-did in the 90's to "remove all the arbitraries" added by … [Read more...]
Going Clear Oscar News
Despite the "best efforts" of the church of scientology, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced today their "short list" of films up for selection in the Documentary category for this year. Dave's footbullets seem to have had the appropriate effect. Going Clear is one of the 15 included in the short list. Looking forward to January 14th to see if Going Clear is one of the final nominees. Regardless -- this is the first time in history that any scientology related film has been on anyone's list for anything -- let alone an Academy Award (after already having won … [Read more...]
What Is The Ideal Org Program?
Any time there is a post about ideal org failures, there is a lot of speculation about "Why?" I have written various posts and comments about this from time to time, but realized I had never put it all in one place. There are two reasons for the ideal org program that go hand in hand. And it explains why, in spite of the clear failure of this program to bring about planetary clearing, or anything at all aligned with the "Aims of Scientology," it will continue to be pushed until the very end. 1. It is vital for Miscavige to hold onto his position 2. IRS … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
There are no words... Schedule an appointment... ...to be part of the greatest movement in history Acting as a church This is such a strange promo piece. Nearly 4% done!!!!!! This is the model, double SH Size ideal org and their CF filing is 96% backlogged. Still skateboarding Wow, this must have REALLY impressed those people at Flag. My win is that I didn't skateboard on the street where I could have been run over. That seems even more Super Powered to … [Read more...]
More Proof Scientology Is Not Expanding
Every day things arrive in my email from people around the world that highlight the absurdity of the scientology bubble. Many of them concern the claimed "straight up and vertical" international expansion Miscavige talks about at every event. You know, international expansion greater in the last 437.3 days than the 12,469,873.2 minutes cumulative previously... 12 million scientologists. New orgs opening everywhere. Governments fully adopting scientology. LRH tech pervading society. More awards for Hubbard than any many or beast in history. Square inches of new marble inlaid. … [Read more...]
Hurricane Leah
Hurricane Leah is blowing Miscavige's house down. It is stunning that her book jumped immediately to the TOP of the NY Times Bestseller list. Scientology will likely tell their sheeple it is a reflection of the public "demand" for what they have to offer. It's an old refrain. "Any publicity is good publicity." "Just as long as you spell our name right." Blah blah blah. Reminiscent of Monty Python's black knight proclaiming "it's just a flesh wound" when his arms have been chopped off and "we'll call it a draw" when his legs are gone too. In truth it is a reflection of the public's … [Read more...]
