There is a constant stream of demands for funds from Scientologists to finance David Miscagive's follies. From his PI's and rented Peeping Tom outposts (spying on detractors) to the waste of useless printed promotion and massive numbers of useless books sent to libraries. But that sort of insanity should be fairly easy to see. There is a more covert but perhaps more pervasive side of the story of financial crimes. One that is highlighted by a widely circulated email from the relentless "fundraisers" for "Ideal Orgs." Just as with the LRH Birthday Game, they are foisting off apparent LRH q … [Read more...]

The Miscavige Birthday Game
Today it seems more likely that those no longer in the church will recall the actual “LRH Birthday Game” than those who have suffered through years of David Miscavige's propaganda by redefinition of terms. Described in LRHED 339R and 339R-1 the real Birthday Game address the subject of the “gift” LRH wanted for his birthday from Scientology org staff. It was specifically NOT MEST. Addressed to staff, he talked about expanding production across all Divisions and even doing programs to accomplish this in each Department. He made an important point that staff should be well paid and this was … [Read more...]
The IAS Scam Keeps Rolling Along
Here is some of the latest IAS trickery brought to you by full time IAS “fundraiser” Kathy Feshbach. First up – the “National Church of Scientology” as in the old DC org building (Fraser Mansion). This become the “Div 6” when the new DC Ideal Org building was purchased, but has apparently been repurposed as the “new National Affairs Office” with a “Grand Opening” conducted by none other than the Donald Trump of religious real estate investing, David Miscavige. That building has done double duty with TWO grand openings presided over by the ecclesiastical leader of the Scientology property portfo … [Read more...]

The Missions of Scientology — Where Are They?
Again, it is unfortunate for David Miscavige and the Church of Scientology that they now have a listing of all Missions on their website. The 1993 edition of "What Is Scientology?" gives a perfect 20 year comparison of the period that Miscavige routinely calls our “greatest expansion in history". And that comparison is not pretty -- and certainly doesnt fall into the category of "greatest periods of expansion." What do Ideal Orgs Have To Do With It? As you may be aware, David Miscavige himself announced that every “Ideal Org” would be the central point for expansion in its zone – put … [Read more...]
New Churches of Scientology — Where Are They?
The Big Lie: David Miscavige repeats it over and over at events and in Corporate Scientology publications “We are expanding like never before – we have opened X new churches in the last X alone.” Here is a representative sample from the Tampa Bay Times – just one of the MANY letters over recent years that have been sent to the media. Apparently the Scientology spokespeople flunk their TR’s and have no concept how to handle any origination except to pretend it didn’t happen and talk about what they want to say – of course, that’s “Reporter TR’s”…). This is just a small part of the lett … [Read more...]
Who Is To Blame For No Superpower? YOU, of course… Updated
Another in the now familiar pattern of “blame it on you” from Radical Corporate Scientology announced that Super Power cannot be released until 500 MORE sign up for the Sea Org. The “thousand” already recruited just wasn’t enough it seems…. David Miscavige needed a new excuse as to why this "vital tech that will salvage planet earth" (and was promised in 6 weeks in 1979) STILL isn't being employed to Clear the Planet. It became obvious that the problem really wasn't that it required a special building and not enough money had been raised (odd, there was NO mention of special buildings for Sup … [Read more...]
The Ideal Org Trickle Down
Today in Radical Corporate Scientology, the modus operandi is "do what I do, not what I say (or what LRH says)". "Command Intention" trumps everything -- policy, tech, common sense and common decency. Which is why fundraising has become the primary activity in the Scientology world. Ideal Orgs. Super Power Building. IAS. Library Campaign. Planetary Dissemination. Psychbusting. The list goes on, in the face of specific and repeated policy forbidding it. As a result, now you see prominent "OT Committee" members following the "Ideal Org" pattern to raise funds for their local "community group." … [Read more...]
Jason Barclay Tells It Like It Is
This is a good story to begin the new postings on this blog. Though long, this write up by Jason is worth reading because it illustrates with specifics and detail a lot of what is wrong with the RCS (Radical Corporate Scientology). His experiences -- and he would serve perfectly as the "typical staff member" -- demonstrate all of the following. Disdain for the well being of the individual. Insane stat pushing. Mistreatment of children. An utter inability to think or apply reason to even the most mundane task, but instead substituting the "winning valence" (mad orders and "cover your ass" … [Read more...]
Welcome To My New Blog
For 4 years, Marty Rathbun’s Blog – Moving On Up A Little Higher – has provided an invaluable service. It has been the best source of news on the current goings-on in the world of Scientology, exposed truths about what has happened in the past, provided a venue for those newly emerging from the bubble of the Church to announce themselves to the world, given insight into squirreling of the tech, offered helpful advice on sources of wisdom and became a place to find new friends or reconnect with old ones. Marty has always said that it was his desire to help raise spiritual awareness, to move … [Read more...]
