I wrote this for Marty's blog in January 2010. I had occasion to pull it out for someone to read and I re-read it myself. Probably many of you saw this when it was originally published, but there are new readers here and I think it worth putting out again. Scraping the Bottom of the Barrel
A number of people formerly involved in David Miscavige's international festivals of Shermanspeak and Computer Generated Images have noted that many of the videos showing "accomplishments" are in fact staged by Golden Era and presented as "real". Children are rounded up and put into videos of supposed "education programs" that last as long as the cameras are rolling and not a minute longer. Today it seems more likely that those no longer in the church will recall the actual “LRH Birthday Game” than those who have suffered through years of David Miscavige's propaganda by redefinition of terms.
