Next in the series from our intrepid IAS Fact Checker. His/her work is greatly appreciated. The Good, the Bad and the UglyPart Three – Building a Better Worldby Natasha Boris As a simple guide to better living, The Way to Happiness booklet follows basically understood moral codes that can be easily agreed upon by many people. There have been plenty of write-ups done by others exposing the flaws in the costing to produce and print but we had to ask, how many people are actually getting them? Is the world becoming a better place in the areas that have had distribution? The IAS claims they ass … [Read more...]
The Scientology Push
This came in as a comment on the last post by one of our Special Correspondents. I felt it deserved more attention than that and so am putting it up as its own post. Enjoy. Mike Rinder In Scientology management there is an old saying "You get what you push". This is meant as a cautionary reminder that if you start pushing hard for things that are not the main line of making auditors and clears, then you do indeed end up with what you push- and not the auditors and clears that in the long haul make Scientology worth something. For many years now David Miscavige has pushed money. And that is … [Read more...]
IAS Human Rights Claims — Fact Check
Next in the series of efforts to fact check the vague claims of "what your support for the IAS buys". Of interest is that virtually no update of the IAS site has been done since 2007. The same unverifiable generalities are there from when the site was first created. Kudos to Natasha Boris for performing the thankless task of wading through the bs to try to verify any smallest specific that may have slipped into the pages of the IAS website. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Part Two – Human Rights by Natasha Boris From the Human Rights Reference Handbook: “Human rights are ‘commonly under … [Read more...]
Corporate Scientology Taking the World by Storm
Just a bit of light heartedness in preparation for the possible sighting of Heber as Miscavige's dancing bear tomorrow in Portland. If Heber does appear, he will not be talking to anyone unaccompanied and he owes a lot of people on the internet a thankyou for being allowed out of the Hole for a couple of days and getting a soda on the plane. Check out the SPECIAL INVITATION below. All you lucky Austinites can now pay $25,000 via Paypal to the Austin Ideal Org as part of celebrating taking Portland and the World by storm! And best news of all, there is even an LRH quote to support it : … [Read more...]
An Ideal Florida! Hand Over Your Starbucks
This is a bit old, but one of our Special Correspondents came across it recently. It follows the Captain Harvey the Clown posting perfectly, illustrating how far the Command Intention Vulture Culture has trickled down. This guy is theoretically the Dir of PUBLIC BOOKSALES of Tampa Day Ideal/St Hill Size super org. And here he is begging for donations to create OTHER "Ideal Orgs" for an "Ideal Florida" Not even "donations" for books. And they are doing it because they "are part of Flags total amount, but we get credit for the raising of what we bring in." What sort of Admin Scale are these p … [Read more...]
Corporate Scientology Child Fundraisers
Miscavige and his corporate Scientology vultures have apparently taken lessons from Slumdog Millionaire on how to use children to raise money. This may be hard to believe, but I assure you this is 100% true. First, here is an excerpt of a Hat Write sent in by one of our Swiss correspondents. It explains how to raise funds using children. NEW ORG BUILDING FUNDRAISING EVENTS HAT WRITE-UP by DENNIS NEGLEY EVENT FUNDRAISER SAN FRANCISCO On page 11 it says: CHILDREN’S DONATIONS These are so theta and are an energizing part of every event. Encourage attendees to bring their children 8 years and ab … [Read more...]
Library Campaign Fraud
Paul Cocovinis posted a report about the number of Dianetics and Scientology library books in the libraries of London. This is an on-the-ground, in person account of the state of affairs. It is not too surprising, the only thing that is amazing is that like the IAS and so many other arms of the Vulture Culture -- they roll forward promoting the lie that the money they suck out of you is actually accomplishing some useful purpose. The church KNOWS the reality of this. People pay FULL PRICE for sets of books that are supposedly "now in every library in xxxxxx." They KNOW how many returns they … [Read more...]
You Have Got To Be Kidding Me
Unfortunately, this is not a joke. Is there no limit to the depths of depravity to which they will sink? They are actually PROMOTING this - KIDS selling bs leatherbound books for the Non Existence campaign for the oldest Ideal Org of all!! How's that Ideal Org strategy working out for you David Miscavige? After 10 years they are just getting around to getting out of Non Existence? Providing of course enough kids sell books. Thanks to one of our local Special Correspondents for sending this in (bit of a outpoint this person is not and never has been Buffalo public). Read it and weep: … [Read more...]
New Years Email from Debbie Cook
Debbie Cook was the Captain of the FSO for 17 years and was a Sea Org member for 30 years. She sent this email to her Scientologist friends on 31 Dec 2011. "I am emailing you as a friend and fellow Scientologist. As we enter a new year, it is hoped that 2012 can be a year of great dissemination and a year of real progress up The Bridge for all Scientologists. Although I am not in the Sea Org right now, I served in the Sea Org at Flag for 29 years. 17 of those years were as Captain FSO. I am a trained auditor and C/S as well as an OEC, FEBC and DSEC.
