Thursday Funnies

May 5, 2022 By Mike Rinder 18 Comments

It opened the flows... The ridiculous things they try to assign cause and effect to.     Bottom of the Bridge at the "Advanced" Org They promote things that should be done in missions and lower level orgs. I guess when there is so little to talk about anything suffices.   He's BACK!!! Who knew he was gone?   More weird stuff at an "Advanced" Org They're going to teach people how to VIEW art???   Celebrate Mothers in scientology Disconnection from their children. Divorce from husbands who don't buy into … [Read more...]

OT Committee Bloopers

July 24, 2021 By Mike Rinder 19 Comments

Another episode from the never-ending flow of inadvertent truths scientology publishes to the world. The Valley OT Committee is top of the class in this particular endeavor. Take a look at their latest offering. First. Who use a photo of someone shoveling shit unless you are offering flood clean up services? The photo is one thing. The write up hits an entirely new level. This is the son of Kevin Wilson, who runs Sterling Management Systems WISE company. His mother Barbara runs Valley Org. Kevin had announced HE AND HIS WIFE were joining staff during one of the rah-rah … [Read more...]

Hyper Hype Inflation

July 14, 2021 By Mike Rinder 84 Comments

Here is some fascinating insight into the world of "OT." This "OT," according to her estimation, had no confront. Then she got onto OT VII. Apparently even that didn't do it for her either. Knocking on people's doors to fundraise "changed me like nothing else ever would. My confront has skyrocketed as well as my abilities..." So, asking for money finally raised her confront and brought her "skyrocketed" abilities. What does that say about the power of these OT levels? This is SO typically scientology. Whatever it is that you are trying to promote or write a success story about … [Read more...]

Damning With Faint Praise (And Another Podcast)

May 6, 2021 By Mike Rinder 47 Comments

This is the best Valley ideal org OTC has got apparently: These two "success stories" are bound to inspire many other older, glasses-wearing "OT's" to join the powerhouses at the Valley ideal org. All those thetans working together to accomplish, er, well, to accomplish buying a building for Albuquerque... or something.  They seem to be a little short on specifics of what they actually do. But these women are doing it with gusto, whatever it is. Or at least with a tone of warmish enthusiasm. The Valley Ideal Org really does suck.  Here it is in daylight. Nothing but empty … [Read more...]

Valley OTC BS

June 16, 2015 By Mike Rinder 81 Comments

I have been collecting these for some time as they are sent to me. Not worth much really, other than as a record of events, but when you accumulate a selection of them and just scan through you see some interesting patterns. As they came in I highlighted certain recurring statements. This top one is an email sent out a couple of months ago that just seemed to perfectly set the stage. Hello there! According to our records you have been a member of the Valley OT Committee. Whether you were part of the push recently or quite a while ago, you may not have heard the latest news — we’re … [Read more...]

Watch #TheDeepEnd on Hulu. Fascinating 4 part doc study of cult leader @_tealswan by Jon Kasbe and @BitsSola. Also listen to interview by @sarahjedmondson and @nippyames on @alittlebitculty podcast. Cult leaders are all cut from the same cloth. My take: https://www.mikerindersblog.org/off-the-deep-end/

Because everyone is currently in love with Tom cruise again due to maverick and have conveniently forgotten he’s a weird little carnival barker for a dangerous cult, here’s your reminder to check out #ScientologyTheAftermath on Netflix!
