Scientology Businesses in Clearwater

April 19, 2022 By Mike Rinder 26 Comments

People often ask "Is this business in Clearwater is owned by a scientologist? I don't want to give them my money." Google is everyone's friend and there is a lot of information available with a simple search. But it's not always clear. So, to help make the information known, I am publishing this WISE "Job Openings" list. These will now show up on a Google search as being scientologist owned businesses. Perhaps there are others who live in this area that could add to this list, as certainly not all scientologist owned businesses are hiring... The listings are sometimes amusing. Even in … [Read more...]

Episode 74: Julian Wain on WISE

January 24, 2022 By Mike Rinder 25 Comments

We speak to our old friend and Leah family member Julian Wain about his experiences with WISE (World Institute of Scientology Enterprises) companies and how they implement high pressure sales techniques into dental and chiropractic offices, and are recruitment agencies for scientology. I did an earlier post about these WISE Guys   This is the entry on WISE in Wikipedia   Here is the definition of "Hard Sell" contained in the official scientology dictionary -- this is the sanitized version. The meaning in scientology fundraising circles is "do … [Read more...]

Orgable?

December 22, 2021 By Mike Rinder 31 Comments

Something I had not seen before was sent to me recently. It is a website called Orgable. Apparently you can now get "Administrative Software for the 21st Century" if you subscribe for a monthly fee. Never mind it is actually provenly unworkable, bureaucratic administrative technology from the 1950's. According to their website, this administrative software includes "everything you need to expand" -- including an org board. What software provides an Org Board is a little unclear, but I hate to tell their potential subscribers that if they want this "21st Century technology" … [Read more...]

OT Committee Bloopers

July 24, 2021 By Mike Rinder 19 Comments

Another episode from the never-ending flow of inadvertent truths scientology publishes to the world. The Valley OT Committee is top of the class in this particular endeavor. Take a look at their latest offering. First. Who use a photo of someone shoveling shit unless you are offering flood clean up services? The photo is one thing. The write up hits an entirely new level. This is the son of Kevin Wilson, who runs Sterling Management Systems WISE company. His mother Barbara runs Valley Org. Kevin had announced HE AND HIS WIFE were joining staff during one of the rah-rah … [Read more...]

WISE Shows Their Stuff (And a MythVision Podcast)

May 5, 2021 By Mike Rinder 36 Comments

OK, these people claim to have the "only workable technology" of management, sales, PR, marketing, personnel and anything else you can think of. If this promotional piece and their accompanying video represents the pinnacle of what they've got...     This looks like it was put together in an 8th grade computer class. These are the experts? They actually do believe that because they have some scribbling from Hubbard that says it is "the only workable technology of ______" that it's true. But what is even more remarkable is that they then offer their … [Read more...]

The Scientology Business Pirates

April 11, 2021 By Mike Rinder 28 Comments

Could there be anything more appropriate than adopting the name "Pirates" for scientology businesses? With the recent spate of bad news about sleazy scientology businessmen being prosecuted -- from David Gentile and the GBP Capital gang to Dennis Nobbe, Jay Spina, Robert Lotter and Brent Jones — the most "ethical group on earth" has a pretty poor track record of actually BEING ethical. And of course, let’s not forget the grandaddy of them all, Reed Slatkin. I now wonder if he might end up being overshadowed by Gentile... And who knows where Grant Cardone is headed? Scientology loves to … [Read more...]

Disconnection For All

January 24, 2021 By Mike Rinder 18 Comments

Here is a new ad from WISE explaining the incredible value of "disconnection tech": The scientology "Admin Tech" people at the World Institute of Scientology Enterprises are hawking some more of Hubbard's "religious scripture" (which is what they call it in scientology) as "secular management technology" which is what they call the same thing at WISE. These 3 booklets contains the "secrets" to dealing with Suppressive Persons. Including disconnection. Like the scientology euphemism "confront and shatter" which is actually an admonition to "run and hide, sever all connection" with an … [Read more...]

The Benefit of Goodwill According to L. Ron Hubbard

October 4, 2020 By Mike Rinder 32 Comments

Well, here is some more brilliant advice from the "non-religious" part of scientology, the "World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE)." Touting the words of Hubbard concerning goodwill and how important it is. Obviously, goodwill IS important. It is also something that scientology has none of. How is that possible if they are so in Source? Ron has laid out exactly how to attain this cherished goal. Why are they failing so badly? Maybe scientology should hire some experts from WISE to help them out...   … [Read more...]

WISE Guys

January 7, 2019 By Mike Rinder 41 Comments

There is a lot that could be covered on the topic of WISE -- including how it was created by Hubbard to "get scientology businesses off the backs of orgs" on the basis of his conclusion that orgs were not expanding because staff were moonlighting in scientology businesses and were thus "off purpose" (in fact it was only to be able to earn enough money to live, but Hubbard's answer to that was "make the org make more money and you will get more pay.") WISE today pretends to be something separate from the "Church of Scientology", in fact they state the on the "What Is Scientology?" website: By … [Read more...]

WISE Inc – Not So Wise

May 8, 2017 By Mike Rinder 100 Comments

WISE is one of the lost step-children of the scientology hierarchy. Out there in left field, the only real value they have had is to pull a couple of dental/chiropractic consultants under their wing and then pump them to get new people using LRH tech and then onto the Bridge to collect FSM Commissions. The CO WISE WUS sends out a constant stream of useless articles about random subjects, and I have not commented on them before. But it suddenly struck me what is wrong with his pitch. Oh so very wrong. First, glance through this latest piece to get a flavor of it for … [Read more...]

How Many Taxpayer-subsidized Mansions, Homes and Offices Does a Dead Man Need? It turns out to be a LOT when it comes to #scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. Once again, where is the #IRS? How is this a valid exempt purpose? https://youtu.be/JfmJHiGfevA via @YouTube
