Even in the world of scientology relentless money-grubbing for everything, perhaps the biggest boondoggle ever is the "L. Ron Hubbard Hall." This is a project that is even LESS needed than "ideal" org buildings. Some orgs have resided in shitty premises for decades, so there is some merit in improving their facilities. Though of course not to the extent of moving tiny, failing orgs into 50,000 sq ft buildings in industrial parks replete with custom furniture and carpets. But there is no need whatsoever for an "event facility" dedicated to scientology events. They cannot fill Ruth Eckerd … [Read more...]
Solo NOTs – Top of the Delusional Bridge
The delusion is real in scientology. Here is a promotional video for the infamous "Solo NOTs" level that all scientologists must go to Flag to participate in. And though it is a "solo" level, meaning you use an e-meter to audit the invisible thetans in, on and around your body yourself, they require you to pay to do the auditing at home and also you must return to the "Mecca" every 6 months so you can pay them to sec check you on the meter to see if you have been good. It is one of the more lucrative (for scientology) levels on the Bridge. This video states right at the … [Read more...]
“Welcome Home”
How sad is this. "AJ" from Minneapolis just arrived at Flag to join the Sea Org. He just graduated high school. No doubt the child of some long term scientologist or staff member. This is the age I joined the Sea Org -- wide-eyed and enthusiastic to save the world. It won't be long before the promises he heard when they were recruiting him are forgotten and he becomes another drone in the money machine that is Flag. He will soon find out that he now belongs to the organization and his free will is meaningless. It used to be a thing to say "A mind is a terrible thing to … [Read more...]
The Scientology BS is Deep
Tracey McManus article reporting on a meeting David Miscavige had with the Clearwater Mayor and City Attorney last week isn't very revelatory on the surface. But I will try to read between the lines and explain the significance of this meeting based on scientology policy and my experience. The first thing to know is that short of testifying under oath (and even then, good scientologists have no fear of lying if they believe a lie is for the "greatest good"), the real story (either what happened in the past or intentions fo rthe future)is never going to be revealed in … [Read more...]
Pinellas County Sheriff Candidate Eliseo Santana: Scientology Shill
Eliseo Santana just sent me this mailer as a resident of Pinellas County. Last month, he became the democratic candidate to challenge the incumbent Sheriff Bob Gualtieri. I would not normally comment on this, except earlier this year, Eliseo Santana also ran for Clearwater City Council against Mark Bunker. Santana was a scientology shill in that election. (You can watch some of the videos of Santana in action at that link). Scientology is afraid of running any scientologist candidates -- they know they will lose -- so they try to curry favor with candidates by promising them their … [Read more...]
Why Would Anyone Want To?
Why would anyone in their right mind want to enter a scientology propaganda center, let alone during a pandemic? This "Scientology Information Center" is in the lobby of the old Clearwater Bank building. It is the ONLY scientology "church" building you can walk into off the street in Clearwater. You cannot enter the Ft Harrison hotel, the Super Power building, the Sandcastle, Oak Cove, Osceola, West Coast, old Lee Arnold building, Coachman or any of the other buildings scientology owns in Clearwater, despite their claim of being "open" to the community. The ONLY building you are allowed … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Clearwater Scam
The scientology scam continues in Clearwater. How revealing this FB posting is. This public person is "helping" the Freewinds to get a 17 year old kid to the ship. She is begging someone to give him a room (if he is going to "pay" why isn't he just staying in a hotel?) and that's OK because "he is not going to be on services." For anyone who doesn't know this, people who come to Clearwater for services at Flag must stay in a scientology owned hotel. They would not want any of their money actually going INTO the community. Remember this City of Clearwater when scientology … [Read more...]
Scientology Preppers
An interesting thing here from some people who call themselves "Community Preparedness Group Int. Inc." Can't find this with a google search. It is my supposition that scientology tends to attract people who are conspiracy theorist/anti-vaxxers/New World Order types because these views fall in well with the Hubbard anti-government, anti-medical, anti-pscyhiatric, anti-communist, anti-UN, anti-everything not scientology world view. And within scientology people are indoctrinated into Hubbard's way of thinking, so the chorus of agreement continues to grow within the … [Read more...]
More from the Scientology Bubble about COVID-19
Here is some more "thinking" from a good scientologist about the "alleged" virus and "alleged" pandemic. Of course, every organization and group has its fringe crazies and it is unfair to paint all scientologists with the same brush... But it is also true by my experience that when it comes to issues relating to the medical/mental health arena, scientologists do tend to be proudly on the fringe. A healthy disbelief, or even contempt, for these professions aligns entirely with Hubbard. He practically mandates it as an article of faith. On the whole, I would say a way higher percentage of … [Read more...]
Mark Bunker Strikes Fear Into Scientologists’ Hearts
I was sent this Facebook message by Aaron Smith-Levin, who received it from Aida Barbosa in Mexico City. He does not know Aida. But she is very concerned that Aaron may know someone who is connected to Mark Bunker and that he should unfriend that person on Facebook as soon as he figures out if that person has other friends connected to Bunker. Obviously she does not know who Aaron is or that he is more than Facebook friends with Mark Bunker. But it gives some insight into the world of scientology and how panicked they are about Mark Bunker. And that, as has been said so often, it is OSA … [Read more...]
