Be a genius... Avoid handing over anything for something so stupid. ASHO's finest This here is a proud ASHO Duke of the Book Reading Elite. Big News No doubt it will be monumentally epic if it's being announced by the "OT Alliance I/C" Hold the presses... It's even monumentaller than that. Two people are required to give it the gravitas it deserves. So, bring in the PES. Wonder what the org ED is doing on Saturday night? It's not big enough for him/her to make the announcement? In that case, I would give this one a miss... … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
As you might have expected, Thursday Funnies this week is dominated by Thanksgiving items with a theme of trying to attract people to come to scientology orgs with potluck dinners in order to have some turkeys on hand to squeeze the stuffing out of. It is somewhat incongruous for "churches" to be insisting that people bring their own food or BUY their Thanksgiving dinners, I can imagine you would be hard pressed to find another church in the United States that has this approach to Thanksgiving, and especially not one that has billions of dollars and claims their expansion is straight up and … [Read more...]

Spelling Bee So the trained ones are the smart ones? Guess that doesn't include learning how to spell "gotten." Thanksgiving breakfast? Breakfast? With all male chefs -- now that's a real selling point. I guess.... The Graduation of All Time This is how they promoted the graduation where COP announced GAG II for Solo NOTs... And along with it was the come-on for the Clearwater NN opening the next day Wacky... CF-A-Thon And other important activities... Wouldn't be an "ideal org" without a … [Read more...]
Boston — The Model “Ideal” Fail
This is another demonstration of the complete fail of the "ideal org" strategy. Boston is one of the oldest and once largest orgs in the United States (it may still be one of the largest with 20 or so staff). But it is important for a very particular reason. THIS is the org that L. Ron Hubbard wrote about as "proof" that it was not just him who could expand an org rapidly to SH Size. In LRH ED 339R-1 written on 10 October 1982 L. Ron Hubbard wrote: "It only took a few weeks to build the old Saint Hill org. That they did the same thing a few years later in Boston shows that i … [Read more...]
Puerto Rico – More Ideal Org Fail
These bubbledwellers are so condescending. And I doubt they are even faintly aware of it. "There is not one Puerto Rican who does not have a desire to do better..." Among other statements. And her grammar, vocabulary and understanding of geography is about 5th grade level. Puerto Rico is "off the cuff" of the US? An ideal org in Puerto Rico is "our way to really create a huge WTH movement across all the Western Hemisphere" But the really good news -- Puerto Rico is only "1.4 million miles away" from buying a building. Why they don't just say dollars really is bizarre. If … [Read more...]
Dear San Diegan….
A Special Correspondent just forwarded this to me. It contains the latest "mind-blowing" "expansion news" Oh my, can you say hype? It is really hard to comprehend the delusional world these people live in. A new Purif completion every 15 mins on this planet. Let's ignore the fact that 90% of them are old Purif completions. People being recycled. Let's just take their figure at face value. This means there are about 50 per day internationally or 350 per week. There are 150 orgs and who knows how many missions. Let's be charitable and say its 300. It means that on average they are do … [Read more...]
Scientology Buying Media Stories Again
A new advertorial has appeared from the bubble of self-delusion. The only reason it doesn't create a flap like the scientology advertorial in The Atlantic is that nobody reads World Religion News. (See here if you are unfamiliar with The Atlantic fiasco) But this does provide some interesting insight into the bubble mindset. This is how Miscavige tells his troops to get media coverage (he is afraid to talk to any media or have anyone speak to them in any way). And it reflects the canned, controlled messages he feeds the sheeple at his events. I have broken this advertorial into 4 … [Read more...]

Wrong Plane This should have been a DC 8 not a DC 3. And that is an awfully slow way to travel, the WW II era DC3 is not renowned for its speed.... Just a month or so ago, Andres was touring around as Snr CS WUS. Wonder if his coverage on the fringes of the internet got him in trouble? The greatest push in the last 2500 years Seems just a bit overhyped... Makes you wonder what the push was back in Mesopotamia in 600BC The event went on for 8 hours... Bet none of these photos were taken when it ended. This is an ideal org? They can list everyone who is … [Read more...]
Finally, Scrooge Subsidizes Valley Idle Org
It's just too damned embarrassing. Even though they STILL haven't made their "ballpark figure" to able allowed to get started on getting a final figure for construction, it seems Uncle Scrooge McDuck is going to chip in the last few million and get them rolling. (Though it could be that this is just another of their numerous false promises about how close they are to being done....) But it seems unlikely because this is the pattern happening around the world now. They will keep squeezing the local orgs for everything they can get out of them, but in the interim, Scrooge has opened … [Read more...]
Purif Promises
Really? The Purif is going to prevent blood brain disorders? Skin cancer? Reproductive problems? They are actually claiming the the Purif is the "solution" -- no, the only solution to the bisphenol you accumulate from drinking for plastic water bottles that can cause cancer? And the kidney/liver damage you are suffering from associating with Mr. Clean. This is based on NOTHING. But promoted as truth. Surely there is some prohibition against making these sort of fraudulent assertions? When challenged on it, scientology claims this is a "spiritual" program. When they think nobody is … [Read more...]
