SuMP Stories
The lies roll off their tongues so easily. The SuMP (scientology's useless media productions) is the next big thing that is going to absolutely, definitely bring about planetary clearing for reelz. But as with everything like this, the absurd joke of this is also very revealing of the desperation inside the bubble. This poor sap is "ordered" to relay this information. Scientology’s “President”
Though this "PR Newswire release" is in ENGLISH with a title that claims "Church President Describes Basic Beliefs..." if you read the article you will see that the "President" who is doing the describing (apparently in english?) is the "President" of the church of scientology in Madrid, Spain. Once again, it highlights the huge omission of the "President Church of Scientology International". Google Scientology
What a fun game this is. Marc Headley sent me screen shots of 3 recent Google searches he did. As he pointed out, the "massive international advertising and PR campaign" is having absolutely no impact on anything in the real world. Miscavige loves to talk about how they have 1.38 people reaching for scientology every .045 nanoseconds, and the IAS regges pound on this too -- "your donation to the IAS is funding the largest scientology dissemination campaign ever." Scientology’s “Field Groups”
Regraded Being is taking a day off. Might surprise us with something on an odd day, depending on schedule, but otherwise will be back next week bigger and better than ever. In the meantime, we have some interesting insight into scientology's "groups" - the entities that "introduce" people to dianetics and scientology. Scientology claims there are "More than 11,000 scientology orgs, missions and groups" in the world. Scientology wasted no time putting this photo (and a bunch of others) onto their website. After all, this is the pinnacle of David Miscavige's (and thus scientology's) accomplishment. A "new org" is opened. This of course is not true, it is just a new building for the same old org as they all are. Scientology has not opened an actual new org in the last decade. Not a single one. The Drug War
Well, as I am enjoying the good life in Colorado, this seemed appropriate. The best summation of these sort of announcements is "These guys must be high." There are cannabis stores everywhere now in Colorado. And the world keeps turning. Haven't seen any apparent negative effects on the people or society at all. But if you ask anyone who lives here (especially ones with children) they will tell you how much of a boon it is to life in Colorado. Narconon and Google Trends
Why Bother really got the ball rolling... Here is some further evidence of the complete fail of scientology's programs. Though there has been a decline in interest in "Drug Rehabilitation" and "Drug abuse", the in interest in Narconon is virtually non-existent. There were a couple of hiccups back in 2005 and 2007, but otherwise it looks like a snake on the freeway. Even the negative publicity brought about by the lawsuits against Narconon has had no effect.
