This weekend, appropriate for the Halloween season, Captain Miscavige performed a ribbon yanking ceremony on his latest haunted house. In a nation with just a small handful of active scientologists, he presided over an intimate gathering to officially open this 79,000 sq ft monster. Every scientologist in the country can have their own room in this place. Even their official website photo only claims 1300 attendees and with wide angle lenses and every other trick they know they still cannot make it look even passingly impressive... And this is with 7 chartered planes worth of people … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Massive International Expansion… cough, cough
First things first, the blog... Nathan Rich provided a layman’s explanation of what happened to the blog over the weekend – I asked him to make it so even I could understand it: Here's how it works and what the evidence is. If you have a computer you can make it do stuff, like host a website -- but then you have people who need access to those websites. But you don't want them to have access to your system, because you're the owner, not them. There's different ways to handle this. The normal way smaller hosting services do it is by using “jails” -- they set up many sort of "sub-en … [Read more...]
The Blame Game
Scientology plays an interesting game of taking credit for anything good AND bad in a person's life. For anything good, it's BECAUSE the person is a good scientologist "applying the tech" and for anything bad it's because the person is NOT a good scientologist and is not applying the tech and thus they are suffering their "just rewards." This "win/win" takes many forms and is a practiced art of the scientologist. If you are doing well in life and have plenty of money you are not only lauded for your "humanitarian contributions", you are expected to make sure that everyone knows it is … [Read more...]

More on NOI
I dont know what the run-of-the-mill NOI member thinks about this weird mashup of scientology and the NOI, but I do know what L. Ron Hubbard would say. Mixing practices = squirrel. And there is no doubt this fits squarely within the Hubbard definition of "mixing practices." Since when does rising up the Tone Scale equate to the "thinking of God"? And what does Doubting Thomas have to do with the Reactive Mind -- Thomas refusing to believe Jesus had risen from the dead without seeing proof is the reactive mind at work? Hey RTC -- why aren't you doing your job? They are even using your … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Response to Episode 5
Time to take a look at the weekly "response" from scientology to The Aftermath's latest episode. It is of course as pathetic as all their previous efforts because they cannot address the FACTS, so they exclusively deal in ad hominem attacks pursuant to scientology policy. I will endeavor to bring some semblance of truth to the stream of lies they put forth about JB and Jackson. Scientology is wearing a trail into the carpet -- everyone is a bad person, they are all "low-level" nobodies, they all have "confessions" that "prove" they are liars, cheats and thieves and not a single person … [Read more...]
Scientology The Aftermath S2 Ep 5: the Aftermath
Tonight's episode scratched the surface of a subject that many wonder about. What is David Miscavige like and how did he get where he is? Understand, he was NOT anointed by L. Ron Hubbard. Though he likes to show a declaration that HIS lawyers drafted for L. Ron Hubbard to sign in the Ron De Wolf probate case and takes a statement Hubbard made about "good scientologists" in Portland and claims it is about him -- Hubbard did not choose him. In fact there is NO written or recorded statement of what Hubbard wanted in his succession other than his will. But his will does not anoint David … [Read more...]
Ireland — Seriously?
For the latest proof that the "ideal org" strategy has NOTHING to do with "clearing the planet" but is simply a real estate, money making scheme and PR campaign for internal scientologists, look no further than the "ideal org" of Ireland. Here is a new pitch they sent out which I have highlighted to note some significant points. First thing to note: this "org" is being sponsored by the IAS -- they must need to invest in some more real estate to satisfy IRS requirements. But that "sponsorship" is ONLY to buy the building and renovate it. NOT to "set up" the "ideal org" because this … [Read more...]
Author Services For Rent
Things don't seem to be flourishing and prospering at the L. Ron Hubbard "literary agency" these days. They are offering up their premises as a shooting location.... Next they will be renting out parking spaces in their building for the tourists on Hollywood Blvd -- much like Denver Ideal Org does when the Rockies are playing at home. This is a pretty strong signal that Miscavige has abandoned the El Cadiz apartments right behind and connected to the ASI building. He would never allow this if he was in residence. He is terrified of being in the presence of wogs. What if they took an … [Read more...]
Scientology’s Aftermath Part 2
See previous blog post Scientology's Aftermath. this is the second new PR spin to tumble out of Scientology in the last 24 hours. Responding to an article in Rolling Stone, headlined Leah Remini Wants Federal Investigation Into Scientology, Dear Leader Miscavige offered up further butt hurt whining: Regarding Remini calling for an "investigation," it is pure balderdash. The Church is a religious institution committed to our religious, social and humanitarian missions. The Church says Remini and her "sources" have continuously filed false reports with law enforcement that have been … [Read more...]
