I included this Facebook message in my post yesterday concerning the fact that Captain Miscavige was at Flag on New Year's Eve delivering this briefing. I did not make mention of other significant things she mentioned. A new IAS status -- Patron Diamond Maximus with Honours. What comes next? They're running out of idiotic titles, every new one they come up with sounds more and more like a Monty Python skit. Another Super Bowl ad! Woohoo. They have been SOOOO effective. And the sheeple think they are being seen across the nation "A billion people watch the Super Bowl so that means a … [Read more...]
The Incredible Shrinking World of Scientology
Quite a number of people have asked me in recent interviews whether scientology is growing. Of course, it is not. Information is deadly poison to cults and in this age of the internet, scientology is doomed. But, scientology puts out an endless stream of propaganda to make it seem like they are expanding. They claim "massive growth" and "unprecedented demand" and various other catchphrases, statements unsupported by specifics or statistics. Naturally, scientology doesn't want to make information available that would disprove their claims of constant and … [Read more...]
First Ideal School?? WTF?
First it was orgs, and Miscavige reinterpreted the Hubbard PL on "Ideal Orgs" to be a large, renovated building. Of course, there is nothing about this in the policy letter. Then it was Missions who were supposed to be "ideal." That Mission in San Francisco that Jenna Elfman opened was the first one I think. Or maybe it was the one Lisa Marie and Isaac Hayes did in Memphis? Or Kirstie's in Wichita? All of these are empty shells today. There have been a few others since then, but generally the Mission network of scientology has continued to shrink despite Miscavige's infamous … [Read more...]
The Promised Ideal Orgs
One of our faithful readers sent me this recently. It is a screencap of the scientology website he had taken back in 2013. The ideal org program had been going for nearly 10 years by this time, and the hype had been maintained at a pretty high level. But with 9 years of hindsight, it is clear just how much bs Miscavige was peddling. The ideal orgs that were promised to have opened in THAT year that eventually opened: Sydney: May 2014 Basel: April 2015 Bogota: July 2015 Budapest: July 2016 Harlem: July 2016 San Diego: November 2016 Auckland: January 2017 Valley: March … [Read more...]
What Is The Ideal Org Program?
This is the fourth "vacation" post, revisiting some of the more important articles to have appeared on my blog over the years. The original post and comments can be found here. Any time there is a post about ideal org failures, there is a lot of speculation about "Why?" I have written various posts and comments about this from time to time, but realized I had never put it all in one place. There are two reasons for the ideal org program that go hand in hand. And it explains why, in spite of the clear failure of this program to bring about planetary clearing, or anything at all … [Read more...]
Pat & Andrew Rinder
This was sent to me recently. It saddens me to be reminded of just how deeply in the mind-prison my brother and sister-in-law are. Of course, like me, my brother was raised in scientology, and despite not being in the Sea Org, scientology is all he has ever known. They are totally dedicated to the lie that scientology is saving mankind. And even worse, that "ideal orgs" are what is achieving this. They have given a ton of money to the "ideal org" campaign, and even worse, persuade others to do so. All the while they are in the Melbourne ideal org all the time, and their son is the C/S … [Read more...]
An Ideal Org — Waste Management
The "ideal" org in Columbus is putting on a new IAS event. Remember, this is the supposed to be what a scientology organization in its ideal state is like. And this one is manned primarily by Sea Org members sent from Los Angeles. Their event features Freedom METAL Winner Bobby Wiggins -- the very tired and very lame old horse pulled out of the barn to try to earn himself some commissions. And then they pull out the big guns from the Solid Waste Authority and the Lower Otentangy River Watershed! They are going full in on the WTH precept of protecting the environment it seems. This is … [Read more...]
The Continuing Saga of St Louis’ “Not Ideal” Org
An update from some ex-scientologists familiar with the failed efforts to make St. Louis "ideal." You may recall, we heard from them back in 2019 -- which I covered in a blog post St Louis Blues -- An Epic Ideal Org Scam Note: the other two orgs mentioned in that first para are still not close to becoming ideal either... And also remember, this is the organization that boasts they have the ONLY workable "management technology" on earth. Here is the update from our observers. The Church of Scientology bilked $17 million out of Scientologists to fund the St Louis … [Read more...]

Episode 76: Professor Aharon Friedman
Aharon Friedman is a professor of Physics and Electrical Engineering, a former scientologist and today serves on the Board of the Israeli Center for Cults’ Victims. Unlike L. Ron Hubbard, he really IS a nuclear physicist, his official title is Head - Schlesinger Knowledge Center for Accelerators and Radiation Sources. We talk about his experiences in scientology, what drove him to escape and his work helping victims of cults today. The brilliant book Man's Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl about his time in Nazi concentration camps and what he learned from his … [Read more...]
