PART 3 – LRH MOVES TO THE US 1975 to end of 1976 One of the things that really surprised me while writing this part is everything happened in such a short amount of time. While living it, it seemed to take forever, but now being older…boy it all went so fast. It was just over a year. I started writing quite prolifically to my mother once we moved to the US. I had more time due to the circumstances and I wrote all the way from 1975 until the middle of 1981. I have only recently been able to read these letters and the one underlying theme throughout, with every letter, was how much I des … [Read more...]

Lois Reisdorf – Part 2 (LRH on the Apollo)
See Part 1 here. MY LIFE WITH LRH (1973-1980) Most people perceive things differently. If there is a car accident and there are 3 witnesses, sometimes all 3 could see a different color car etc. My stories with LRH are from my perspective and I am very sure other messengers may perceive things differently. These are also stories from the best I can recollect them as a very young, naïve person and from my perspective at the time. Obviously now being middle aged and WAY wiser, I can look back and see how I acted or perceived things through rose colored glasses. I am also very lucky th … [Read more...]
Dealing with Critics of Scientology – The L. Ron Hubbard Playbook
If you read this blog, you are likely aware of Leah Remini's upcoming A&E show. I have had the pleasure of working with Leah on this show as a consultant and participant, a cause of great distress for the church. So I thought I might weigh in with some information I feel is pertinent to events now and into the future. As a reader here you are likely also aware of the "church" reaction to the announcement of the show and the first trailer being released - the usual name-calling, smearing and foot stomping that does not RESPOND in any fashion to the abuses being exposed. … [Read more...]
Ron says….
Yowza -- they actually picked this quote out to publish it? This isn't very complimentary about children and frankly, does not make a whole lot of sense. If the cause of all this terribleness is their reactive mind, why should it be worse when they are children? How does your reactive mind alleviate itself as you grow older if you don't have auditing? Whether L. Ron Hubbard loved or hated children (he certainly fathered plenty - but didn't seem to fare too well raising them...) this yet again demonstrates the mindless robotism prevalent in scientology. Because L. Ron Hubbard said … [Read more...]
Control in Scientology
Here is one of those LRH quotes the church sends out without apparently even reading what it says. Whether you or I find this quote credible, there is no question that the person who sent it out from New Era, and any scientologist who received it, accepts this as gospel truth. That being the case, one has to wonder whether they read this: ...if you see an impulse on the part of a human being to control you, you know very well that that human being is lying to you. Not is just going to—is lying to you. Check up the facts, you'll find out they're always true; that person is trying to c … [Read more...]
Scientology and “The Mechanism of Death”
Most religious belief is purely subjective. There is no way of proving whether someone made it to heaven, or descended to hell. Was heaven a 5 star experience or a bit disappointing? Did the virgin birth really occur? Was Noah able to round up all the animals on earth and put them on his ark? Where scientology is most problematic is when Hubbard made pronouncements that seemed unverifiable at the time, but are now shown to be ridiculous. Some of his statements about being on Venus or Mars for example. Or the supposed factual account of the History of Man including the Piltdown Man before it … [Read more...]
The Life of L. Ron Hubbard
This is a fascinating insight into the world inside the scientology bubble. This image was posted to a scientology message board on FaceBook. Shortly after this screenshot was taken, the group's admin asked that it be taken down as it didn't have "Issue Authority." Despite all the LRH biography briefings, websites, press releases and books in today's official scientology scripture there is no mention whatsoever anywhere that L. Ron Hubbard even had a wife (or 3) or any children. One of the reasons the Briefing Course is no longer available is that the lectures have not b … [Read more...]
Maiden Voyage Event 2
Next in the series of 2016 MV Event coverage. Really there is nothing worth saying about this. Somehow they keep coming up with new "accomplishments" for L. Ron Hubbard. Now he created the "space race" to distract from the nuclear arms race (except it didn't). Wonder when they are going to cover the biography section "Ron's family life and accomplishments" - they could do a nice Ron Mag on that subject. Not of course covering what he told everyone else to do, but detailing HIS family life. There is a lot of fascinating material to cover. … [Read more...]
The L. Ron Hubbard “Biographer”
Someone sent me a new promotion for the "L. Ron Hubbard Series" which prompted this post. Dan Sherman has been working on the "L. Ron Hubbard biography" for more than 25 years. Imagine anyone else getting away with no product for that long? And being paid handsomely to boot.... Sherman's problem is that he can NEVER produce an actual biography. He would have to omit so many things from the book to satisfy the condition that there be nothing negative included about Hubbard that it would be a running joke. Everyone who can use Google would tear it to pieces. A very cursory list of … [Read more...]
