The constant "give us your money" drumbeat is only growing louder. But it is becoming ever more brazen and the "reasons" are getting more and more absurd. This new email contains so many outpoints it is difficult to comprehend that anyone in their right mind would have sent it. But here it is: From: Ashley <ashod@scientology.net>Date: Tue, Aug 13, 2013 at 4:05 AMSubject: 46 years ago on August 12thTo: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@gmail.com Dear Scientologist, 46 years ago on August 12th, LRH formed the Sea Organization. This year a large focus is on target attainment for the … [Read more...]

David Miscavige’s Cowed and Ill Associates
L. Ron Hubbard discussed at some length the characteristics of a Suppressive Person or Anti-Social Personality. Way back in 1953 he wrote PAB 13 On Human Behavior which was a precursor to so much that he would codify in the mid 1960’s. It is interesting to read what other scholars of human behavior have to say on the subject, particularly clinical psychologist Martha Stout in her widely recognized book The Sociopath Next Door. Their observations very similar – and yet from such different backgrounds – confirming the accuracy of the observations. For this posting, I focus on one of the ident … [Read more...]
A Special Correspondent Report from The Bay Area
Dear Mike, I wanted to give you an update on the Bay Area Scientology scene. As you know there are San Fransisco, Stevens Creek, Los Gatos and Mountain View orgs in this fifty mile area. Recently included to the grouping of the Bay Area orgs is Sacramento -- about one hundred miles from most of the Bay Area. All Bay Area orgs sit empty. Just to be clear, there are probably half a dozen veteran public that appear for course once a week to keep their PR in. It's a sad state of affairs that while each org sits empty of public, some of the most well-intended (and misguided) staff you ever care … [Read more...]
Voldemort Update 9 August
Update from last night's graduation. While the adoring crowds no doubt were screaming and jumping to their feet like a room full of jack-in-the-boxes on steroids, this is becoming pretty boringly mundane. The false "exuberance" is no doubt now being enforced on all present. "You will be impressed, or else...." Even our Special On The Ground Correspondent seems to have become bored with it all. You know how it goes, when Voldemort was a far off, unseen figure he was pretty scary. When you see him for the first time he is pretty scary. But after a while, he sort of becomes old hat. So, he … [Read more...]
The Church of Spin
Miscavige sockpuppet, Karin Pinocchio Pouw is at it again. The "church," as they always do, have turned the Shelly Miscavige missing person report into an excuse to launch more of their patented footbullets. With a straight face, they are alleging to the Hollywood Reporter and other media that this is "ill-advised, ludicrous self-promotion"? Say what? Does anyone in the world, other than the most addicted KoolAid drinker, really believe that filing a missing person report is "ill-advised", or better yet "ludicrous self-promotion". It is clear from the media reports that the … [Read more...]
Volunteer Minister Crusade Claims — Fact Check
Another in our series of Fact Checking claims made by the Church of Scientology on their internet sites. Our hardworking Special Correspondent has taken the time once again to attempt to verify the generalities put forth. This is no easy task.... I recently received the latest IAS mag unironically titled "Indiscriminate Help Anytime Anywhere" and so I added a little section of my own to the end of Natasha's good work. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly – Part 5 Something Can Be Done About It by Natasha Boris Tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, nuclear meltdowns, terrorist attacks, b … [Read more...]

Dave Soroka Is Not In Doubt
To answer a question that many had -- who is that unidentified man in this photo with Nora? Doubt: The Church of Scientology vs the Independents This isn’t my entire Doubt write-up. This is just my announcement to both sides, having done the other steps and arrived at a decision. Most of my friends know I’m a Scientologist. I’m an old-time Scientologist. There’s people who say Scientology doesn’t work, but they just haven’t thought it through. It’s a religion. If someone says it works for them, then you pretty much have to admit it works: it works for them. Apparently, that’s the nature of r … [Read more...]
Scientology Loves The Internet — But For “Wogs” Only
Here is a recent item that came in from one of our correspondents. What is interesting is the double standard it presents without any apparent irony. It is promoting the wonders of the internet and spewing out a bunch of meaningless statistics -- for all the massive advertising and hundreds of linked sites and millions spent to make their internet presence so "powerful" my blog -- which has NO budget, no team working on it and no massive advertising is consistently ranked HIGHER than Scientology.org by Alexa! But set aside the stat mumbo jumbo and the feeble "successes" (this is seriously … [Read more...]
Nora Curiston Announces Herself
Mike: I'm a Scientologists living out in the sticks in British Columbia, Canada, quite far from any Org. I have been working on a Doubt Formula and I'm making my announcement. Thank you for this blog. Nora Curiston Step 6 of my Doubt formula submitted by Nora Curiston I want to be perfectly clear here that this is a Doubt formula on the corporate Church of Scientology, not on the works of L Ron Hubbard. I have always found his technology and philosophies to be true for me. The fact that he insisted that I accept nothing unless it was personally true for me was a large part of what I … [Read more...]
