Hurricane Leah
Hurricane Leah is blowing Miscavige's house down. It is stunning that her book jumped immediately to the TOP of the NY Times Bestseller list. Scientology will likely tell their sheeple it is a reflection of the public "demand" for what they have to offer. It's an old refrain. "Any publicity is good publicity." "Just as long as you spell our name right." Blah blah blah. Reminiscent of Monty Python's black knight proclaiming "it's just a flesh wound" when his arms have been chopped off and "we'll call it a draw" when his legs are gone too. In truth it is a reflection of the public's … [Read more...]
Thursday Funnies
Spelling Bee So the trained ones are the smart ones? Guess that doesn't include learning how to spell "gotten." Thanksgiving breakfast? Breakfast? With all male chefs -- now that's a real selling point. I guess.... The Graduation of All Time This is how they promoted the graduation where COP announced GAG II for Solo NOTs... And along with it was the come-on for the Clearwater NN opening the next day Wacky... CF-A-Thon And other important activities... Wouldn't be an "ideal org" without a … [Read more...]
Flag Stats – Epic and Monumental
The latest collection of reports from Flag. Remember, these reports ONLY come out when they have "good news" -- the weeks there is no report the stats are no doubt bad. They used to report the number of Clears Made per week, but stopped mentioning this for the last 4 "Good News" briefings. I guess the "Clears" have dried up. Months ago they stopped reporting on Purif and Objectives (once they have skimmed the cream of the redo's by locals). Also be aware that these graphs go from the RELEASE of Super Power (Green line) and Running Pgm (blue line). So, naturally there … [Read more...]
Boston — The Model “Ideal” Fail
This is another demonstration of the complete fail of the "ideal org" strategy. Boston is one of the oldest and once largest orgs in the United States (it may still be one of the largest with 20 or so staff). But it is important for a very particular reason. THIS is the org that L. Ron Hubbard wrote about as "proof" that it was not just him who could expand an org rapidly to SH Size. In LRH ED 339R-1 written on 10 October 1982 L. Ron Hubbard wrote: "It only took a few weeks to build the old Saint Hill org. That they did the same thing a few years later in Boston shows that i … [Read more...]
Leah Remini, Shelly Miscavige and Tom Cruise
What can Miscavige do to respond to Hurricane Leah? She is blowing his house down and it is a storm that comes on top of severe damage already inflicted on the once apparently impregnable fortress of scientology. It has been building throughout the year -- Going Clear at Sundance got the ball rolling. Followed by the revelations from the PI's tailing his father which thrust scientology back into the headlines. Losing tax exemption in the Netherlands. Tony Ortega's Unbreakable Miss Lovely, a never ending stream of Narconon bad news. And much more. And now Troublemaker has stepped it up … [Read more...]
Swedish Cult Fiction
While scientology is unravelling in the face of Hurricane Leah here in the US, a different storm is raining on scientology's tiny parade in Sweden. My old friend, Mariette Lindstein has written a book. And it is causing quite a stir. Mariette worked at the Int Base for many years (in fact, I brought her and her husband to the Int base to man WDC posts). She was then five years in RTC under Miscavige, and yes, she was another prisoner of the Hole -- even though according to its Founder David Miscavige, no such place has ever existed. Mariette lives in Sweden … [Read more...]
Regraded Being
Thursday Funnies
Ideal Emptiness They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Big empty "studio" is the perfect venue to disseminate about big, empty orgs... Oh Dear... Obviously, the COP is back in town and going to make a spectacular, epic, milestone, watershed announcement momentous sort of all-time thing at Graduation this week. He knew he couldn't leave it to these people to do it right, so though they had a special briefing in the "Board Room" a month ago, obviously things didn't take off like they should have. So, once again, He has to do it all himself. But wait a minute. There … [Read more...]
Milano Grand Opening Photoshop Fail
Dear Leader jetted off to Milan for a ribbon yanking even last weekend. It was certainly supposed to have happened PRIOR to the IAS event and couldn't get done in time. Ah well. It will be good to have something for the New Year's event. And he got to spend a week shopping for some new shoes at John Lobb. With the constant news from the Hurricane Leah, things have been backed up. I didn't want this to wait too long and tomorrow is Thursday Funnies and Friday is Regraded Being, so letting this see the light of day. One of our Italian Special Correspondents sent in this report. They … [Read more...]
