The red flag is flying on Miscavige's eroding sandcastle. This email is a sure "tell" that he is concerned. Concerned about his own PR and concerned about how he has not had a June 6th event and doesn't have a date for the "GAT II" big top extravaganza which is obviously going beyond his announced target of "late July." The natives are getting restless so he figures a good dose of Dear Leader in all his glory will help placate the rumblings of discontent. Miscavige considers this 1993 "War Is Over" event his greatest performance and most significant accomplishment. He has directed it be s … [Read more...]
Tommy Davis and Jessica Feshbach — WTF?
How is it that Tommy Davis and Jessica Feschbach have never stepped out into the sunlight? They left a trail of destruction in their wake and witnessed a lot of things they KNOW hurt people or were just plain wrong. The Tommy/Jessica (Tomica) story is darker than most realize. I wouldn't doubt that if anything keeps David Miscavige up at night it's the thought of Tomica growing a conscience. That's probably right up there with Shelly escaping. Or Heber exposing the abuses he has been subjected to over the last 20 years. A recent article on Tony Ortega’s blog exposed the shore story that ha … [Read more...]
The Sad Story of David Miscavige’s Twin Sister
Joe Childs of the Tampa Bay Times filed a story about Denise Miscavige this evening. You can read it here. Perhaps more than anything, it exposes the hypocrisy of "true believers" who have absolute certainty that they KNOW the answers to all problems in society. The quotes from sworn testimony cited in the article highlight just how unreal this mentality is. I hope this is enough to wake Denise up. And I hope she comes through this OK -- she was the first auditor I ever had in the Sea Org at St Hill in 1973. Her brother (Dave, not Ronnie) is going to rain scorn and hatred upon her for " … [Read more...]
Scientology Introversion
This is an article sent in by one of our intrepid Special Correspondents. I felt it worthy of its own posting as it highlights some important points. I recently read an article on Yahoo News about a self made billionaire who has established a philanthropic foundation with 4 billion dollars that he will use to fund criminal reform, education and moral standards. He is not going to do conventional charitable contributions. He has established a highly qualified team to locate workable programs and technologies that will effectively make a change in some of the worst societal ills. T … [Read more...]
The New Scientology PR Offensive
Should have said the new Scientology PR IS Offensive. Once again it seems the arrogance of the church is going to be put on display for all to see -- exposing the incompetence and false data that pervades "all aspects" of medicine, education, business, economy and religion. And WE of course know, as we ARE the experts on all things. Sooner or later they are going to have to wake up. They are increasingly known as money-grubbing human-rights abusers just a step above pedophiles on the popularity-meter, but they are going to "expose" everyone else for not knowing what they are talking a … [Read more...]
Miscavige on Miscavige: Promises, Promises
One of our Special Correspondents sent me an excerpt of Miscavige's only print media interview. It is of interest for a number of reasons, but most significantly, it makes clear why he is scared of the press. He has no control over revising history with the media as he does with his internal public (try to find an event video in any org on the planet that has Heber Jentzsch or Ray Mithoff in it.... they have been written out of history). There is no mystery why the DVDs of his speeches are guarded like the Crown Jewels and extraordinary measures are taken to prevent anyone from recording wh … [Read more...]
IAS Way To Happiness Claims — Fact Check
Next in the series from our intrepid IAS Fact Checker. His/her work is greatly appreciated. The Good, the Bad and the UglyPart Three – Building a Better Worldby Natasha Boris As a simple guide to better living, The Way to Happiness booklet follows basically understood moral codes that can be easily agreed upon by many people. There have been plenty of write-ups done by others exposing the flaws in the costing to produce and print but we had to ask, how many people are actually getting them? Is the world becoming a better place in the areas that have had distribution? The IAS claims they ass … [Read more...]
IAS Human Rights Claims — Fact Check
Next in the series of efforts to fact check the vague claims of "what your support for the IAS buys". Of interest is that virtually no update of the IAS site has been done since 2007. The same unverifiable generalities are there from when the site was first created. Kudos to Natasha Boris for performing the thankless task of wading through the bs to try to verify any smallest specific that may have slipped into the pages of the IAS website. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Part Two – Human Rights by Natasha Boris From the Human Rights Reference Handbook: “Human rights are ‘commonly under … [Read more...]
Scientology Sockpuppet Speaks (Sort Of….)
Corporate Scientology has mastered the art of speaking out of both side of its mouth and keeping a straight face at the same time. See Tony Ortega's article about the Laura DeCrescenzo case this morning. While pleading that the CHURCH is being "discriminated" against (they have also mastered the art of playing victims -- everyone including the courts, psychiatrists, governments, SPs, media, the internet, drug companies, cyberterrorists, anyone who dies in their care and the martians are out to "get" them) and how turning over Laura's pc folders will prejudice "other religions," they don't … [Read more...]
Applied Scholastics International Headquarters Becomes a Nation of Islam "Singles Retreat" Named "Camp Kiswah"
Though this document is from 2012, it is worth sharing. I have never seen it before and I doubt many others have either. It was attached to a comment by Rick Mycroft but I felt it too important to simply be a comment. Thanks for providing this Rick. This Nation Of Islam Singles Retreat was held at Applied Scholastics International Campus in Spanish Lake, Missouri. Apparently renamed for the NOI "Camp Kiswah," this promotional item makes NO mention of Scientology, let alone Applied Scholastics. The only way to be certain that it is in fact Spanish … [Read more...]
